When it deals damage to a player, search your library for a creature card. Target opponent names a card, if it isn't the named card, put it onto the battlefield. Shuffle your library?

I do not know the translation, but the cost combined with the lack of abilities and P/T leads me to believe that it is yet another card that blue will be unable to competitively use :(.
Oh well, I will wait for the translation to nail this coffin.
EDIT: Not bad with reanimation hyjinx...if only there was a good reanimator in Standard after Mannequin >_<.
Bleh, another expensive Mythic. Hate the art too. Anyone got a translation? I was able to figure out that it lets you search your library for a card, but then I got lazy and stopped caring.

When Sphinx Ambassador deals combat damage to a player, search that player's library for a card and that player names a card. If the card for which you searched is a creature and is not the named card, put the creature onto the battlefield under your control. That player shuffles their library.
5/5
Let's see, 7cmc might leave it out of constructed, at least in limited it's a 5/5 flier, which is bombish, it seems like a fun, interactive card, and it has a potential reusable persuasion effect.
Understanding that not every card can be a lightning bolt, I rather like this card

Seems like a good finisher for a Blue control deck. With Reflecting pool going away here shortly maybe control will actually have to pick a color for their finishers, and if so a big 5/5 that nets you free creatures if you can out think your opponents selection seems not just very good, but also very flavorful. Yeah the art is a bit dorky looking but being able to kill people with Mama Smurf makes up for it.

Crap. I was hoping that I could search my library for a creature. I'm not even too sure how good this would be for reanimation.
Okay so for 7 you get a 5/5 flyer(pretty meh and normal for any color) and whenever it deals combat damage you get to Bribery your opponent but your opponent gets to name a creature that if you chose your Bribery no longer works. It seems pretty complicated, a lot of fun for limited and pretty much unplayable for constructed.
The choice of what to search for and what to name will be fun because, do you search for something which isn't the best creature because they'll name their best creature or do you search for the best creature in the hope that they think you won't (if that makes any sense at all).
So why not have the card just say "search the library for a creature card". Since it has no effect if you search for a non-creature card, that way you could exclude the "If you searched for a creature card" clause. Maybe the English version has cleaner language?
Paradox: Is the creature-search ability good in limited? You can't guess what's in your opponent's deck unless you are psychic, and even if you know they have a bomb, they will just name it.
Fantastic in EDH. Many solid targets that they could name several possibilities. In constructed, not so much. "Ball Lightning?" "dang it!" *tries again next turn* "Bloodbraid?" "crap!"
I think you should work more on finding the correct wording. By the way, if you have to pick a card in your opponent's library without saying anything to him, it's unplayable on MWS. (You cannot draw cards from opponent's library to other zones, when you use Bribery you have to tell to your opponent what are you going to use.)
Playing this without extracting a card (using only memory) is impossible since you don't have the proof is your Sphinx opponent has in mind two cards (will discard one if get chosen).
Can't you shift+drag into the play area facedown? I never played MWS online, that's possibile on solitaire goldfishing anyway
betting this is a Rosewater card, the ability would be cool if it searched your library, but searching your opponents just means they have to second guess you which against a tournament player will be quite easy for them to do. I'm not good a bluffing, but still it seems fun.

This card is usless in blue.

Kind of what I was wondering...either I am missing the point of the card, or something is amiss
If they name the card, does it get shuffled back into their deck?
