Accelerate into Maralen, fetching Ad Nauseam which draws your deck and wins with Sickening Dreams. The player themself is protected from the Dreams by Dark Sphere or Glacial Chasm. Zombie Infestation plus Feldon's Cane is a backup plan if Sickening Dreams is countered. The Rain of Filth is only for building mana after getting and/or casting Ad Nauseam. Once Ad Nauseam has resolved you can build up mana even from nothing with Lotus Petal and Chrome/Diamond Mox.
EDIT: Added missing cards and Feldon's Cane, Zuran Orb, Winding Canyon, and Vampiric Tutor for better consistency and resilience. Thanks for the ideas guys Can't add much though, because the deck needs to be able to draw as much as possible with Ad Nauseam, even after potentially taking a bit of early damage from other decks. There is currently 16 total CMC in the deck other than Ad Nauseam, which can be offset a little with Zuran Orb, and drawing some of it naturally.
EDIT 2: Removed Burnt Offering, Sacrifice, and Songs of the Damned as they're rarely useful before Ad Nauseam and never needed after. Added Demonic Tutor for further consistency and Glacial Chasm as a more reliable way to survive your Sickening Dreams. Total CMC outside Ad Nauseam is now 15. I realize this deck is gimmicky, it's supposed to be. This deck is built for its surprise value and instant-win-out-of-nowhere fun, not to be used as a primary deck to play with over and over.
Yeah, the setup is rather vulnerable, the upside is that all I need is a single draw phase with Maralen on the field, I can replay her if I need to. You were right, I hadn't put the right number of swamps in, that's fixed now. And I survive the Sickening Dreams by activating Dark Sphere.

I was going to suggest Vedalken Orrery so you can flash out Maralen at the end of opponents turn, but you'd need lots of tutors to consistently find it, so you might as well just tutor for Ad nauseam.
If you cut some land and added some more random 0 and 1 cost spells, you could run Tendrils of Agony as a backup finisher for one player. I'm not sure if you play duels or multiplayer, but this could at least give you a way to survive longer.
Also, wouldn't Feldon's Cane be a nice reset button for you if your combo failed? You can just do it again next turn.
Overall, very original idea. I am quite impressed. Well done and *applause*
I don't want to be a downer but Dark Sphere will not protect you from Ad Nauseam(which seems to be your plan). Ad Nauseam causes loss of life, not damage.

Actually his plan is to use the Sphere on the Sickening Dreams.

The land count is so high and the converted mana cost so low that Ad Nauseam will only do 10-12 damage to draw the deck. Dark Sphere is used to protect against Sickening Dreams.
You need a way to time walk or flash in your general or protect it some how. Any smart play will tutor for an answer to her.
Add some tutors so you can get the ad nauseam without your general.

Demonic/Vampiric/Diabolic Tutor, fetching Vedalken Orrery.
Play Vedalken Orrery.
Flash in Maralen at the Beginning of the End Step of the player who's turn is directly before yours.
Seacrh for Ad Nauseam, and combo off with Sickening Dreams.
It's technically a four card combo, but the good news is, the combo finds all of its pieces with one tutor to start itself up.

I'd laugh, but I think you are being serious.
I'm thinking of building this deck. I like maralen and this deck is dirt cheap.
Not to be too critical or anything, but I can't see this deck working well. As previously stated, you'll need to flash her in, or else your opponent will just tutor an answer for her, and you don't really have any other win cons.
I'd run heavy tutors and rituals. Seems like with 40 life you can have a decent amount of draw power with AN. You don't even need Maralen, just tutor for AN. Skip Vedalken Orrery, though I guess if you draw into it it's not bad. So Vamp Tutor, Demo Tutor, Possibly Diabolic Intent, Diabolic Tutor, Brainspoil, etc.when you have a bundle of free creatures. If you do want to go the Orrery route, include Dimir House Guard.
Yeah, it might not be that competitive, but it would be fun to try.
I built this deck (works wonders first time they see it, was an lol moment. Take THAT 300 dollar deck combo players), with a few modifications. I added Lion's Eye Diamond for more cheap mana accel, then the 'no max hand size' cantrips SpellbookReliquary TowerLibrary of Leng, an Ivory Tower and then Sanguine Bond (and a Demonic Tutor ). Yes the sanguine bond can be a nasty slap if you ad nauseam into it, but with the addition of the spellbooks etc, you don't have to go off right away. I went with the tower-bond combo because people kept killing maralen after the first game, so I got the sanguine and tower down then ad naused on the end step of the guy who plays before me, gained a whole ton of life and nuked someone. Probably not necessary, but it's another win con.
So, you have Sacrifice and Burnt Offering in here, but there's two problems:
A) Burnt Offering has a red mana symbol in it's text, so it's illegal.
B) Both of them require you to sac a creature, then produces mana based on that creature's converted mana cost. (The big problem)
Besides your general, you have 4 creatures. 3 of those creatures have a CMC of 0, and the last one has a CMC of 1, but can sacrifice itself to add 1. You'll NEVER EVER get anything from these two spells

I would add a Lake of the Dead, and definitely a Demonic Tutor. You have 3 cards that sac 1 of your 3 total creatures 2 for mana equal to CMC, and 1 for 4, and 1 card that adds black for each of your creatures in the yard, all 3 of them + your general that you won't send there.
I think that it's a great surprise factor deck to use now and then, maybe add a duress, or thoughtsieze for those pesky blue mages.

Or, dropping Glacial Chasm before playing Sickening Dreams prevents all damage to you.
Vedalken Orrery is the only way to do this in mono black.
So that means this is our combo:
Demonic/Vampiric/Diabolic Tutor, fetching Vedalken Orrery.
Play Vedalken Orrery.
Flash in Maralen at the Beginning of the End Step of the player who's turn is directly before yours.
Seacrh for Ad Nauseam, and combo off with Sickening Dreams.

If you happen to get demonic or vampiric early on, tutor up ad nauseam turn 2 and cast it with your accel turn 3, don't worry about Maralen.

Having Marlen as the general effectively turns Vedalken Orrery into Demonic Tutors. to run in conjunction.
A) Burnt Offering has a red mana symbol in it's text, so it's illegal.

But I do agree that the sacing of creatures is less than ideal.
As an additional cost to cast Burnt Offering, sacrifice a creature.
Add X mana in any combination of B and/or R to your mana pool, where X is the sacrificed creature's converted mana cost.
