I want a lot of them... half because it looks like I'd own one? and the other half because I feel like it's ultra playable in this one deck that I have that has been begging for a five slot.

Hmm I like this guy. I dunno if a 4/4 for 5 that does nothing until it's been in play a turn is constructed playable but he seems sweet. If you're shying away from Planeswalkers/Artifacts/Enchantments he can easily blow those up for you, and with some form of recurring creatures (like Emeria, the Sky Ruin, maybe...) he can become a 4/4 Abyss. Then, of course, if there's nothing appealing you want to do you can simply choose no type at all and ignore the ability for a turn. Definitely worth trying out, I think.
Although T6 is a bit late to start, you can certainly start mana screwing someone that's a bit behind. With some Rampant Growth / Harrow / Cartographer action you can even get him going early and simultaneously break the synergy to screw them over. Always nice to have acceleration into an early Baneslayer being a Plan B, too...
I like it. It is very powerful in multiplayer which is what I mostly play nowadays. Yes I would like my three opponents to sacrifice one of their fancy artifacts or enchantments each turn.
or dinosaur pirates!!! big hulking dinos with eye patches and peglegs and troll the ocean on their ships made of smaller dinosaur bones in search or treasures. I would sooo go for that. or better yet, slave dinosaurs that serve the pirates like some sick dinotopia world where people own the dinos.
Pretty awesome. If everything is going well you don't have to do anything (unlike certain cards that can't be turned off, (Drop of Honey, The Abyss, etc.) Kills PWs dead. Slowest Armageddon ever too
Ooo, nice! There are oh so many options, from forcing your opponent to sac their planeswalker, or an enchantment, or a creature, or a land just for fun. Me like!

At the beginning of your upkeep, you may choose a card type. Each player sacrifices a permanent of that type.
4/4
Check out the podcast at http://www.themagicarena.com/2009/09/10/deck-builder-radio-exclusive-world-queller/ for our thoughts on the card!
white is indeed getting some mid-range love!!
Lovin' that flavour text too~
"W....hat?"
lolwut, to be more precise. If this card doesn't see play, I'll be surprised. That's a very powerful effect, potentially.

If it's real, it seems like a pretty good card. Probably the card that kills Planeswalkers!
Personally I'm not a big fan of this guy. At least they gave him a good body though.
I was wondering, are you allowed to choose LAND???
Not really. Off-color Edict effects on whatever card type you like are quite amazing last time I checked.
