This.. is hilarious considering that european GPs and legacy community is much bigger... the european Legacy/Vintage community is WAY bigger than the US.

That's weird. I thought Legacy and Vintage were way more popular in Europe than they were in the US.

Anyway, I'm hoping to go to as many of these as possible! Florence definitely but also looking at all the others. I wanna play!

Is the Non Proxy Euro Vintage community that much bigger? I was under the assumption that the spread of proxy tournaments was one of the contributing factors to the popularity of the format. So you'd have to have people who could show up with real cards. Now legacy is a lot easier than vintage because you don't have to have power, but you are still looking at some $500 decks to be competative. (I know there are budget options like Merfolk and Goblins). Of course with the dollar falling buying cards on ebay is a lot cheeper now

Of course there is no risk in them having a legacy GP in Europe to find out.

Columbus was chosen because they had a legacy GP there before and got 1500 people. I honestly don't think there is much keeping them from having a GP nearly every weekend somewhere. 18 GP is still very supported. Counting PT's they have high level events 50% of the weekends.

Edit: Has anyone here been to Kuala Lumpur? I've wanted to visit Malaysia ever since they had the PT there a couple years ago.

Wow, North US really got the shaft this year.
Living in Kansas usually sucks (and I had to miss the GP there last year). But jeez. Other than Houston, I've got your same problem. Everything else is like 500+ miles.

Your country flag doesn't make sense now. Or you just hate Legacy so much. What, don't Europeans deserve a big Legacy event? Considering anytime there's one over here, we break the records. Even though Bochum doesn't even have an airport, you'll see it will break 1300. I'm predicting 1500+ for Madrid. Also, consider that before Chicago's GP, (and the GP:Flash, but you can discount that one), there was a long streak of no Legacy GP's at all. Now we get one, you get one, and still feel cheated? Dude, stop being so egoistic.

You know, we could go on grumbling too, that a single country, that is US, is getting more GP's than any other country, also ignoring the player numbers and revenues.

The US gets more because of the size of the country. If im willing to drive 15 hours to a GP they only one i can attend this year without flying is Baltimore (Thankfully its only 30mins away) and its pretty much 5-6+ hours on a plane to get to any other GP they have scheduled.
