Nourishing Lich is actually a pretty fun deck, and I think I would prefer more crazy "Try and break me cards" over complete limited chaff like Chimney Imp. Cards like the Lich cards make you use your imagination. The problem most of the time is that they are so afraid of making broken cards, that they nerf them a bit too far. Case in point, Immortal Coil. The concept is awesome, but it's just not quite there power-wise.

moonlace, thoughtlace, chaoslace, lifelace, deathlace. are all terrible. moonlace is the worst, when it was spoiled, I thought wizards was playing a joke. worst of all, they're rares

I think that the worst card ever has to go to Leveler it just plain sucks.

sorry but stifle can make this somewhat playable. sorrow's path is the best example of a complete waste of paper.

Okay, stifle does make leveler playable..........i'd never seen sorrows path before. Its just plain stupid

No, the worst ever is Pale Moon. Here is a card that was designed to hose non-basic lands, and completely failed in its mission while simultaneously falling on its ass and spilling tomato soup all over its brand new white docker pants. Even against a deck loaded with only non-basics, the card isn't remotely useful. Sorrow's Path and One With Nothing could have weird tricks to them in a bizarre deck, but Pale Moon will never be useful.

yes, but why would you want to hose plainswalk. Would hosing mindless null be just as good?

Well, I dunno. There's only 1 Mindless Null, and there's a whopping 4 creatures with true plainswalk out there:

now that I think about it, Lich's Mirror pretty much does nothing but allow you to lose a second time, not to mention being mythic...

and Scornful Egotist is amazing with Riddle of Lightning and Erratic Explosion

I dont know...Lich's Mirror can be essential in winning with a Barren Glory deck.

Great Wall doesn't even "hose" Plainswalk cards. Would a card that said Creatures with "bands with others" lose that ability be a "hoser"? Why not you know... Wrath of God... um... anything, really...

Nonsense. It's a 2/2 that costs 3 to pay. And for 1 mana, you can put a -1/-1 counter on it and allow it to interact with all the silly Onslaught "we like expensive stuff" cards.

Also, Sorrow's Path notably combos with Vigor. Tap, pay 2 life, deal 2 damage to Vigor: Switch 2 blockers as you choose, then put 2 +1/+1 counters on each other creature you control. Seems decent.

The worst card in the game has to be pretty much unable to ANYTHING with its own abilities. If the best use you can find for a card is Opalescence or Animate Artifact or whatnot, that's the mark of a terrible, terrible card.

I nominate Great Wall.
