I guess you're another of those who wasn't around for Scourge (or at least have never been aware of the mechanic the set focused on) and sees the card as useless even in its own environment.

I actually think Farmstead is close to a perfect mix between uselessness and waste of cardboard.

On top of that, how on earth could Scornful Egotist be worse than Gray Ogre, even if we didn't have cards like Rush of Knowledge? It has morph!
