Very interesting idea; but yeah k-grip just wrecks it. Might want to add cabal therapy in there which is nuts with rector. And SBing mages seems wise since k-grip is a very widely played card.

Yeah open the vaults isn't the greatest if your meta has loads of GY hate in it but good luck to you.

as much as I enjoy the deck, I'd give one small transformational board in the sideboard, which you should find interesting. try kaervek's spite and barren glory. it works with your existing shell and no one should expect it g2.

Ok, how do you use barren glory once you use spite? or other way around

Academy rector would put Barren Glory into play after you use Kaervek's Spite.

I think the combo is fine as is though, and should just focus on either acceleration or control.

Looks really good to me. I'd suggest 4 Flooded Strand and 2 Marsh Flats instead, though since Flooded Stand and Polluted Delta can fetch any of your lands, but Marsh Flats only fetches the Dual Lands. Aside from that small thing, everything looks good.

Otherwise I love this deck idea : ) I have been looking for ways to abuse Lich Mirror.
