i know these have been said before, but they really reaonated with me.
i would like to see the most expensive cards reprinted, especially as redily available promos, or at least magic player rewards foils. Dont get me wrong: i loved the textless foil lightning bolt, but that created a money card, rather than reducing one. A mpw bameslayer or goyf would make those cards more readily available.
Id also like to see the return of tournament packs. More and more new players that are in my games club are short of land, and tournament packs were the perfect solution.
I also really liked the idea of basics for each gp location. I wonder what the bostonian swamp would be? Id really like to get a set of boston lands

What I want wizards would do for MTG?

1) Make mytic with sense (AKA not Lotus Cobra, Mindbreak Trap and Warren Instigator at mytic)

2) Sets with more cards, just like ravnica, lorwyn, and time spiral. not like shards of alara and zendikar...

3) Sets with less crap like mindless null... damn, we pay so much on bosters, and insteed of deceat commons we get crap like hedron scrabler and Tempest Owl AND Pillarfield Ox! (WHY HE HAS NO ABILITIS? he just strictly worse then Rhox Meditant...)

id like to see the power creep on creatures finally end, and try to print equally as power permanent/non-permanent spells in sets, and this probably wont go over well, but id like to see the removal of the color system from the symbols, players have to memorize what cards are what, not just tell from color of expansion symbol.

Lotus Cobra had to be mythic, it has lotus in the name. Mindbreak Trap counters the uncounterable, it deserves to be mythic. Warren Instigator is a very narrow card that not a lot of people will want to open, so being mythic isn't that bad.

I think it should work the other way. A card with a mythic ability/effect should also get a mythic name and the same rarity. But giving some pretty bland card a mythic name does not make it a mythic rare. Otherwise i am looking forward to Khalni Gem being renamed to "Khalni Lotus Gem" and promoted to mythic rare \o/

What?! No. Mindless Null is one of the funnest skill testers in the set. You've obviously failed the test. And pillarfield ox is a sweet card, the picture is awesome and he is not that bad in draft. So no, making all the commons could make drafting impossible.

Mindless Null is a bed joke, realy bad joke...
And I love the picture of pillarfield ox too. very cute indeed, but why not giving some abilitis to make it intersting? heck, even Plainswalk or Vigilance whould be cool.

You mean making them good? how do you know that if all of the commons will be intresting and playable in one set the set will not be balanced? look at the Cube for example, all the cards are good but the cube is pretty balanced.

First.

Get rid of the reserve list

Which lead us directly to

Print a set with old staple like dual land, goyf, FoW, Daze, Brainstorm... to make eternal format more accessible to new people.

Maybe not that dramatic, maybe something like Tournament Pack in Yugioh, Pack with 3 good rare card at lower price that you can buy during event.
