Grandmother Sengir is a very cool character. For those of you who didn't know, she's not actually the (grand)mother of Baron Sengir, she's not even a Vampire! She's a Planeswalker named Ravi (thanks, scumbling1 :)) who lost her mind and was taken care of by the Baron. I forgot her name (Ravin? Something like that...), but I'll remember.
Anyway, this deck is an attempt to give her a home. The deck is build around her. Many cards give -2/-2 to all creatures (the curses), so she'll live and be able to take out a x/3 creature with her ability. Also Night of Soul's Betrayal allows her to kill anyone creature. The Hexmage and Aether Snap deal with those pesky +1/+1 counters if necessary. The Kormus Bell sided with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth gives the Grandmother sort of this ability: 1B,T: Destroy target land. It can't be regenerated.
Furthermore speaks her flavor text of her power and madness, so I put in some powerful cards and cards with "power" in the name and a bunch of Madness cards, along with the discard outlets.
A member of the Sengir family needs a family (the Vampires) and people to take care of her (her minions) and to protect her valuables (the trinkets).
Castle Sengir isn't legal in this deck, but too cool to pass up (thanks to purple_pixie). Also, Ravi the ringer of the Apocalypse Chime, so it should be in as well
It has absolutely no practical purpose in your deck, whatsoever, but Grandmother Sengir was the keeper of the Apocalyse Chime... Good thing you're using the 5th edition Torture!
Horobi, Death's Wail allows grandma to kill anything but could be used as a double-edged sword.
As Kamahl would say: "What's bad about a double-edged sword? It's a sword! With two edges!" Good idea, it's in. Makes Grandmother more vulnerable, but also more powerful!

Oh, and her original name was just Ravi.
Thanks for the name, I put in in the OP! And the Chime..I didn't put it in originally because it's so worthless (it'll kill my own General :p) but you're right...it just belongs in
