Any reason Okina, Temple to the Grandfathers and Krosan Verge are absent? And the same for the Kaldra equipment- they do wonders for turning utility creatures into killing machines.
Your deck is almost card-for-card identical to Surging Chaos' list in the competitive forums. I can only see about 3 cards that I think are different. You should probably just take discussion to that thread, as it's the exact same deck.
I can answer your comments scumbling1:
Okina: 99.9% of the time, this is just a legendary Forest. The actual ability sees almost no relevant use, as this is not an aggro deck at all. However, ths deck does run, and consistently play early, Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary, which provides a significant incentive to play as many Forests as possible. The times when Okina's ability would actually be relevant are far outweighed by the number of times you would wish it was just another Forest for Rofellos.
Krosan Verge: Similar deal. I used to play this too, but it's just too slow. This deck is very fast and consistent, and tends to use all its available mana on spells every turn. First you accelerate into Sisay, then you search for and play the most appropriate threats. You very rarely have spare mana to even activate Verge, and coming into play tapped doesn't help it any either.
The Kaldra equipment takes up too many slots and doesn't do enough on its own. If you're able to tutor for and play 3 cards, you should already have the game locked up. You'll usually want to grab Rofellos/Gaea's Cradle, Gaddock Teeg, and/or Hokori, Dust Drinker before you worry too much about win conditions. There are better/more consistent/less narrow win conditions already available for fewer slots. 2 pieces getting shut out by Gaddock Teeg doesn't help either, considering how important he is in many games.
Arrest is better than Prison Term in this deck, just for the easier mana cost. Because our manabase is skewed so heavily towards green, double white mana is not consistently available in the early game. Lignify is another good choice.
Rampant Growth is better than Kodama's Reach in this deck, because it accelerates you into playing Captain Sisay a turn faster, while Kodama's Reach doesn't. That's huge in this deck.
Yeah - thanks for the explanations of the card choices...and wow - I hadn't checked Surging Chaos' list for months and you're right, maybe 3-4 cards.
I'm probably going to end up dropping some things
- Mirari's Wake due to Teeg
- Explosive Vegetation - Teeg and I want the mana acceleration on turn 2 rather than for the same CMCC at Sisay.
I'll just read up on that thread given this deck appears to be more in the "competitive" vent.
I agree with both those cuts. The only cards I currently run that Teeg messes with are Mindslaver and Primal Command. Mindslaver is inviolate, but I think I'm going to cut Primal Command too. Teeg is REALLY important.

Other small details: Prison Term is better than Arrest, and Kodama's Reach over Rampant Growth.
Overall though, nice list.

Personally, I would also cut all of your acceleration/mana-fixers that can't ramp you into playing Sisay faster. Wood Elves, Yavimaya Dryad, Krosan Tusker, Eternal Dragon, Yavimaya Elder, Farhaven Elf...they're not bad cards, but take it from me, you can do better. Look at stuff like Nature's Lore, Three Visits, Search for Tomorrow, Talisman of Unity, Chrome Mox, Priest of Titania, Quirion Elves, Birds of Paradise, Llanowar Elves, Fyndhorn Elves, Boreal Druid...I play all of these in my list, and they're golden (mana-dorks are great in this deck--they all do double duty with Gaea's Cradle, and Teeg means you don't have to worry much about wrath effects.) They all accelerate you into Sisay, making the deck faster and more consistent. I would rather play any card on my list than any one on yours.
