The Myojin are hard to make decks for, because they don't get their divinity counter when you cast it from the command zone. So I stuck TWWT in the deck and plenty of Raise Deadish cards. So cast your General, stick a counter on him and go wild. If he dies, raise him and cast him, this time WITH counter!
By the time you have a myojin in play with a counter on it, your opponent(s) have seen it coming from a mile away. You're going to spend like 3 or 4 cards trying to get him out of your command zone and into play with a counter. During that time your opponents will just play their spells.
Also, there is little point to repeatedly myojin'ing. once should be plenty. If people are getting back to 7 card hands after having discarded their hand something is not being done right in the game.
Applaud the effort of trying to put counters on him and use him as a general, but if you're just trying a gimmick general do something more impressive like haakon, stromgald scourge or phage the untouchable

I know the idea is a bit far fetched, but I tried to build a deck around the Myojin that has a *chance* at working. I know most deck with a better general will kick it's butt, but I find it amusing to find ways to make less appealing generals still worth playing, even if it's only in a very, very casual environment. But thanks for your input!
I agree with the above poster, better off just running him in a black deck and dt rip top decks ftw. b/g decks can get him easily also. he needs to come donw ahead of the curve to have the huge impact and taking time to play bounce replay will cause lots of problems.
I wonder how many people would find it annoying if I complained just as much about creature combat, because I dislike games where people do nothing but cast creatures, butt heads and do boring combat math?

You probably posted this before you could see I already posted The idea is to make the Myojin work anyway. I know there are a lot more much better Generals, but that's not what I'm trying here
Also, a way to get That Which Was Taken back after it gets destroyed, as well as grabbing good stuff from your opponents' graveyards is Beacon of Unrest.
I think you probably need some card draw as well. Syphon Mind is on theme, and Phyrexian Arena is always good.
Not sure you have enough artifact creatures for Moriok Scavenger. Maybe replace with Revenant and/or Mortivore, both of which should be pretty big after all that discarding.
Finally, Grave Scrabbler is a fun madness card that I've seen used before and should give you style points, beyond just the deck you're playing.

Doh...of course I meant The Rack and Rackling and not Black Vise and Viseling Thanks for noticing that! I had the Moriok Scavenger to get TWWT back, never noticing it gets only artifact creatures...the Beacon is a welcome addition instead Thanks a lot!
The rest of the deck is various sweepers/removal and card draw, and some fatties.
I was hoping he'd do better than that Plus, when he only removes one card, that means they didn't have that many to begin with which is good for all the Rack-ish cards! I did put in all acceleration you mentioned, for speed is surely very important. Also I looked at most raise card and chose the ones with the most potential. Did I miss any good ones? Thanks!
Read That Which Was Taken. He gives the divinity counter from without and then lets the general go to the graveyard instead of the command zone so that he can raise dead and cast him as normal.
does this card even work? it says 'when you play it from your hand'

Since you are planning on having people dump their hands, wouldn't The Rack and Rackling be better than Black Vise and Viseling?

I also replaced the Iron Maiden with Wheel of Torture and squeezed in Skullcage and Pauper's Cage

If you stick with the idea all you need then is whatever artifact accel you can get (mind stone, sisay's ring, darksteel ingot, charcoal diamond), and then every raise dead variant you can find.
