Looking good so far! We're 5 voters away from yet another voter record!
Red seems to be MTG's most varied color when it comes to Power Rankings. That's mostly, I feel, because there is no "elite" #1 card (see: Ancestral Recall, Mind Twist, Balance, etc) -- although it'll be equally interesting for Green.
This is just a friendly reminder that Red Voting Will Be Closed Tomorrow! Thursday, February 25th at 12 Pacific.
If you haven't voted and would like to, please post your Top 20 cards!
Silent Edge's Tidbits of Wisdom: The Lewis Theory - When the presence of a single card makes every other card in your deck better (see Lewis, Ray). The Rubber Edict - You'd rather have it and not use it, than need it and not have it. The Shotgun Wedding - Don't commit early unless you absolutely have to.
Right on the money. If forced to include this fake card (:D) it'd probably rate around 10th because of the double red in the cost.
As for the X burn spells, they're pretty solidly red as far as I'm concerned. Even if they are easily splashed (which is exactly why they scored so well in my list), I wouldn't know in what other section they should appear.
There is no double red in the cost. It's XR. It's pretty much just a more powerful version of earthquake.
Hmm, the Fireball spells are not soo great on their own, but P1P1 they are great. They are very splashable, and are worth splashing, unlike let's say Lightning Bolt which is a better card.
Also it is clear that Red is less powerfull, but very splashable and usefull all around.

Once again, my list for this year is way different from my list from last year. Looking at my last year's list made me kind of realize how much I've gained in experience.
Some notes:
At the time of my vote last year, I didn't have several of the cards I voted for and so ranked them completely on what I had seen in constructed and what I had heard from you guys. After playing with and playing against Survival, I think it definitely deserves the number one spot.
Last year I ranked both Tooth and Nail and Rude Awakening very highly. This year not only did Rude Awakening fall all the way to the bottom spot, but Tooth and Nail didn't even make it. I still like and run both cards, but I've realized that while they are powerful, they aren't nearly as powerful as I once thought.
Two newer cards make their appearance on my top 20: Noble Hiearch and Terastodon. Hierarch is the second best mana dork ever (which is why it sits just behind Birds). Exalted is a really good ability. Terastodon made my list because since I've put him in my cube he's been a complete blowout every time he's hit the table. Admittedly this time next year I may feel differently, but for now I think that guy should definitely be a cube staple. He's ridiculous.
I don't really get the love for Survival. I've played it in cube and constructed and it's a strong card but not the most broken in the world. Usually it plays really well with other more broken cards.
Still I guess my green ranking show my preference for recursion and ramping.

Survival does indeed play really well with other more broken cards (ie Recurring Nightmare), but even on it's own it still allows me to fetch up any creature in my deck. I may have to pitch a creature to do so, but turning a Llanowar Elves or something similar into a Terastodon or Thornling seems pretty good.
