Jack Thompson was also the mod-role in The Fiasco Corporation. Since the mod was never killed in that game, it's certainly possible that he's showing up here.
After a long day of discussion, the group rounds on Fox, a shifty-looking fellow in the corner. In response, he whips out a stethoscope. "See? Doctor." The rest of you mutter to each other, unsure about whether he is a resource or a liar.
Xavier returns from the task of isolating Nom Anor's and Ged's body, wiping blood on his slacks. "What did he say his name was?"
"Jean-Baptiste d'Avignon."
Arvanis' eyes widen, and he quickly pulls out his phone and begins typing. "The Jean-Baptiste d'Avignon? The terrorist?"
The group turns to Fox, who is still holding the stethoscope out with a look of rapidly-cracking confidence. "Uh... doctor?" Arvanis removes his gun from his belt, and Xavier does the same. With a roar, Fox dives at Calvin, who jumps out of the way, getting his legs tangled up by his attacker. The two agents maneuver to try to line up a shot as the group recedes, ducking behind chairs and corners to avoid stray bullets.
As Fox removes from his belt a long coil of piano wire and begins dragging Calvin toward him, the latter grabs a pen on the ground and swings it wildly behind him. With a roar, Fox falls backward, the pen jutting from his neck, and the wire falls to the ground. Arvanis immediately opens fire, unloading a full clip into Fox's chest, slowly forcing him to the ground. Calvin pulls himself up from the ground, shaken and coughing, while Xavier frowns. "Another body to move, huh."
From Fox's pocket, Xavier pulls out a keycard, stained with blood. "The French have been looking for this. It belongs to their president." He looks down at the body below him. "Looks like he won't be at the conference after all."

Remember when sending night PMs to send them to both arimnaes and myself.
The man in the Armani suit pauses to catch his breath. Two hundred crunches, one hundred pushups, any distraction from the mission available. No word from anyone in the organization... definitely not a good sign. Opening his suit coat, he looks down at the Glock 33, .357 SIG tucked into his belt - enough preparation for an encounter, but if those two FBI agents track him down, there's little chance his credentials will convince them. Toying with the gun in his hand, spinning it on his index finger, the man in the Armani suit considered what his first kill would be like. Nobody in the organization could effectively describe it - each gave a unique, and yet uniformly rapturous, description.
Down this long hallway comes a pair of voices, and the man in the Armani suit instantly tensed up, pulling up against the wall with the gun at his side. Peering around the corner, he sees what looks like two people from the conference survivor group he had been doing reconnaissance on. They were carrying on a heated discussion that was starting to get angry, and the man in the Armani suit receded into the wall to try to disappear. On queue, the two stopped twenty meters from his hiding place, as the shouting grew louder and more. One leaned in on the other and jabbed him in the chest, and the other turned and walked away, clearly frustrated.
As the man in the Armani suit leaned out and quietly moved away, the first man shouted retorts in the other's direction, arms crossed. And then he explodes. The man in the Armani suit turns out of shock, while the other man continues slowly walking away. After a moment, the man in the Armani suit joins suit, leaving the smoldering corpse of desCoures behind.

also, the Oleoresin Capsicum spray is more commonly known as pepper spray. sounds like a RB to me.
I did not take an action last night, waiting on the town to decide what exactly they want me to ask.

I can shed some light on the spray (and also on an event which happened last night which might give us some interesting info, as I'm reasonably sure it must have been a scum ability) but I need to do two things first.
First off, a question: replacement-loran, does that spray look familiar to you at all?
The second thing is a question to the mod which I've already asked, in order to clear up something from the PM I got.
I don't. I know it's selfish, but I really just want him to ask about me. If anyone else is included and the result randomly returns a non-town, it just gives the scum wiggle room to try and get a mislynch on the Vig.
My suggestion for CM's question: are Cyan, X and Y all pro-WTO?
Forget about trying to define all the scum and possible neutrals, 'not town' is really all we need to know now.
The question is who X and Y should be. After yesterday's finish I am inclined to say "not Jobie"
'Not Town' is all we need to know, but if Charm isn't lying he needs more than that, and it is his question. Although it would be more useful for us to try and get everything we can out of the question, I'm going to trust the information more if we focus on the place where Charm's interests interlap with our own. We can't control what he asks, so we might as well guarantee we're getting accurate information from him.
'Not Town' is all we need to know, but if Charm isn't lying he needs more than that, and it is his question.
Now, that is true, it is Charm's question to ask, but obviously it's better for the town if he asks a question that suits our needs somewhat. And Charm himself is not off the hook of being the SK himself, he was allowed to survive and not have a vig target painted on his head at least in part so he could ask this question. If he is unhelpful, the target goes right back on.
The more interesting point, however, is why you (Pale Mage) would argue to Charm that he should screw us. What's your incentive to do that, exactly?
Indoctrinating suspects instead of the town core? Big frown for you.
Wait why are you frowning on this. Honestly like I said, unless there is clearly a person who is going to try and be killed by the scum (i.e. claimed cop), there is no good reason for me to try and slip into the mind of the scum and find out who they will kill, since I don't know there mind. It is much better for me to indoctrinate scummy players and hope they get lynched.
I'm half-tempted to ask "are 2 or more of the following scum or SK" but I think that's a bit too vague for what I need.
FoS PM
I'm not surprised by a single NK, what with 2 claimed day vigs and the SK probably having a day shot.
Guardman: Are you saying you know Jobie to be anti-town, or do you just need him lynched to please your alien overlords?

I agree that the question is best used to simply get the question of Cyan settled. "Is Cyan town?" would suffice. Obviously a "no" to that would get him lynched whatever he claims. I'm honestly hoping that he is the SK so that we can eliminate him and CM in one fell swoop and get back to the mafia.
I still want Jobie dead today and I'd like to see Guardman vigged before anything else can happen. "I only need to indoctrinate these people and then I can win" sounds a lot to me like "We only need to find each other and then we can win - oh no, the world won't blow up or anything and cause you all to lose just when you think you've won" and I'm not going through that again.

If there is an SK (and there is, according to CM's role) it seems to have been one who used a day action yesterday. So, of day actions we know about, it could've been kpaca (Niv) Cyan, CM, Zionite, or possibly loran (DM.) Either that, or the mafia's kill failed somehow...but dC looks to have been the mafia's kill to me. Did anyone check the blog to see if he said anything? (EWP: He didn't, but I see outstanding questions for him there regarding the PDA.)
@mods: Have you considered asking dC to replace back in? I know that the complexity of this setup might hinder that, so don't say anything if there's some reason why it wouldn't work, but it's an option.
Now, that is true, it is Charm's question to ask, but obviously it's better for the town if he asks a question that suits our needs somewhat. And Charm himself is not off the hook of being the SK himself, he was allowed to survive and not have a vig target painted on his head at least in part so he could ask this question. The more interesting point, however, is why you (Pale Mage) would argue to Charm that he should screw us. What's your incentive to do that, exactly?
I'm not arguing that Charm should screw us. I'm arguing that he could. Assuming Charm's role is as claimed, his incentive on using the question is to get the info he needs to fulfill his win con. Other than threat of lynch, why would he ask anything other than what helps him? He isn't town. If I had that role, I would be pursuing my own victory, not the town's. That isn't unreasonable.
It isn't reasonable for us to assume that Charm is going to behave as town, or to use his resources as a townie would use them. We co-operate with Charm to help us, but probably aren't going to get the max from his question.
Wait why are you frowning on this. Honestly like I said, unless there is clearly a person who is going to try and be killed by the scum (i.e. claimed cop), there is no good reason for me to try and slip into the mind of the scum and find out who they will kill, since I don't know there mind. Oh, hey, I laid out the logic for this yesterday, and lo and behold you walk in today and behave exactly as I said you would. You indoctrinated a suspect and immediately voted for him. Instead of wanting to nail down other folks or continue any kind of investigation, you put your chips on Jobie.
I'm half-tempted to ask "are 2 or more of the following scum or SK" but I think that's a bit too vague for what I need.
See people? This is what I'm talking about. We should be satisfied with Charm as SK hunter regardless of how good it is for us to try and push it. Our backs aren't to the wall, here.
Now if we can agree on a range of players for Charm to ask about that would be peachy. There's no rush on this, but let's sound off and see where we are, 'kay?
FoS PM
I'm not surprised by a single NK, what with 2 claimed day vigs and the SK probably having a day shot.
What makes you think the SK probably has a day shot? All the daykills from yesterday are accounted for. One of them might be lying about his alignment, but factor in that both of them claimed their kills ahead of time (and kpaca apparently didn't need to reveal his shot...he could have killed Nom or anyone else and we all would have been in the dark as to who did it). Cyan posted his kill in thread (which doesn't mean that's actually how it works, but it does mean he took responsibility immediately).
So yes, I'm a tad surprised at a single kill from last night. It's too early to know exactly what that means, but it is worth noting.
Also, we need to hear from AI.
If we can get Cyan to agree to be a second lynch, that would be outstanding.
One is too few. I think three is good.
I still want Jobie dead today and I'd like to see Guardman vigged before anything else can happen. Oh, let's wait on vigging Guardman. We have reason to believe info is forthcoming, right?
If there is an SK (and there is, according to CM's role) it seems to have been one who used a day action yesterday. So, of day actions we know about, it could've been kpaca (Niv) Cyan, CM, Zionite, or possibly loran (DM.) Not following the beginning of this. Why are you assuming the SK wouldn't be able to use an ability and kill in the same cycle? That wouldn't be a stretch for a one-man team, particularly if we believe Charm (i.e. he's being hunted).
Well, I'm confused at the moment, trying to sort something out.
I didn't get what I expected to last night, which may mean someone screwed with me.

I was glad that they won since I was calling for their lynch and the town ignored me and I even offered after I was outed to kill them because I didn't want them to win.
I think that we should ask on two, so that if the answer comes back that one is scum, then it is easier to look at which one it is. It also gives us a 50-50 chance of a scum lynch, rather than a 33-66 (I know that the maths isn't quite right, but you get the idea)
I agree with two. I feel like it is much better, because Cyan could just Day kill the other person to prove his innocence.
Actually, the mafia quite like the SK being alive during the early stage of a game. And how would he know more about the SK because he's mafia?
Also, who the hell is "Jack Thompson" and why is he voting Zionite?
Well, if he can't post in the game he can make himself known on the blog.

One is too few. I think three is good.
Oh, let's wait on vigging Guardman. We have reason to believe info is forthcoming, right?
Not following the beginning of this.
Aha! Just got my result sorted out.
Guardman should not be a concern to us. Now we can focus elsewhere.
I was glad that they won since I was calling for their lynch and the town ignored me and I even offered after I was outed to kill them because I didn't want them to win.
Experiments Series: #5 (Courtly Intrigue Mafia) | #4 (Drunken Tracker) | #3 (Big Red Button) - coming soon | #2 (Pope Mafia) | #1 (Iso's Inflammable Mafia)
Mini Games: MTGS Mafia Redux II (Invitational, Evil Mirror Universe) | Unreal City
Old Games (bad): The Greenwood Affair | Blood Moon Mafia
I agree with two. I feel like it is much better, because Cyan could just Day kill the other person to prove his innocence.
This is a good point. Two sounds good to me.
