EDIT: First off, thanks to everyone who has voted and continued discussion about the PRs and all the related cards. After we finish off this group, we can move onto land then the Overall Top 20...
Just PM'd a ton of 2010's voters -- looking for 8 more votes. We've got a SUPER tight race at the top of this group, and only more votes will sort out what cards belong where.
We're at 12 and I would love to get to 20 total votes.
@ Usman ~ I still need you to correct your Top 20 -- you've got Figure of Destiny on there twice...
Silent Edge's Tidbits of Wisdom: The Lewis Theory - When the presence of a single card makes every other card in your deck better (see Lewis, Ray). The Rubber Edict - You'd rather have it and not use it, than need it and not have it. The Shotgun Wedding - Don't commit early unless you absolutely have to.

My bad y'all, I sent some PMs out to various voters, not realizing I had missed 4 votes altogether...I don't know how that happened.
We're currently at 16 -- can 4 more people answer the call?
I'll be one. I would've responded sooner, but my computer absolutely died on me (I reformatted, installed Windows 7 and just got Firefox and internet back). Minor gripe - you keep spelling my user name incorrectly on the results page. There's only one "a". yak *U* soku
The ability to hit anything, including lands and planeswalkers puts Vindicate at top. Pernicious Deed is a selective, super board sweeper and is just so versatile. The fact that it takes out all creatures, some creatures, and can also touch enchantments and artifacts is just super. Ajani Vengeant eats up a creature and needs to be handled immediately. 4-8 are all card advantage cards. After that, we have big finishers, versatile removal, and persist creatures that can generate card advantage. Momentary Blink is one of my favorite cube cards and I can't imagine a list without it - it's anti-removal and enables cards like Karmic Guide and Mulldrifter and Avalanche Riders.

This was insanely difficult, but I tried evaluating them for P1P1, which is the reasons the super hybrids (= playable in either of their colors) scored so well. They just go in many more decks, so I'll pick them higher than pure multi-color cards.
Ask me again tomorrow and I'll likely produce a different list...
And we're at 21...Aznopium, you were the 'locked in' vote I spoke of yesterday. Still, it's greatly appreciated!
Less than 4 hours, and I got a PM saying I might get #22 today. I'm glad we got these extra votes, it really cleared up the Top 1/3 of the group. There was one point where 3 cards were within 1 point of each other!
That would now mean that the Non-Basic Lands are NOW OPEN for voting!
Voting will cease on Monday, March 29 at 12:00 PM Pacific.
(After that, we'll do the Overall Top 20)

Changes to this year's list include Shelldock Isle which has been a great performer, and the additions of Creeping Tar Pit and Celestial Colonnade. The Tar Pit especially is an incredible man-land... one of the best ever printed. I realized that vs. last year's rankings, the dual land cards didn't fair as well this time around. Not because they're not as good, but after closer examination of their values at the P1P1 level, they just don't stack up against as many nonbasics as they did previously. I think they were ranked too high last year, in other words. The rest of the list is pretty straight-forward.
Quote from Magicmerl »
It's funny, because as a cycle I rate them as top 5, but their value goes down considerably as individual cards.
I found it to be the exact opposite. The Pit and the CC are so much better than the other three that the values would've went way down if clumped together.

Really? I like both green ones more than the UB one.
On an unrelated note, given the manabases in Legacy and Vintage, Sac'lands look like they are much more important than Duals in terms of providing fixing. Obviously you want both but I think that I'd usually want to have as many or more sac-lands as duals, and the presence of shock-lands means that Sac-lands are the scarce resource, since there are 20 'dual' lands that can be searched out but only 11 dual searchers (including Farseek).

Can someone break down for me which cycles we list as cycles and which ones we don't? The purely symmetrical ones we can clump and the ones like the Worldwake manlands with different abilities we separate?

Same with putting all the Alliances sac lands together, etc... different cards that do different things need to be ranked differently.
