Hey guys!! So I've built a number of fun (and quite competitive) multiplayer EDH decks, but I really wanted to switch it up a bit. I never really play green, and most of my other EDH decks use tech my friends REALLY hate (blowing up the world a lot, stealing everything useful they can land, locking the down with prison-style Hanna, Ship's Navigator, etc.). So, I wanted to go in another direction.
My aim was to build a deck which was fast and fun, and while it isn't super competitive it can still hold its own in a casual social multiplayer game. My goal here is to win through a number of conditions - namely, Helix Pinnacle, Whetwheel, Epic Struggle, or some sort of Overrun-esque attack with unusual creatures (animated forests, wolf tokens, Wurmcalling tokens, etc.).
You'll see that the deck is able to produce a RIDICULOUS amount of mana, and at times it's way to much to really make use of. But that was half of the fun, I wanted something that could generate an unbelievable amount of mana and do crazy, janky things which really don't piss people off (save for top-decking a Helix Pinnacle and slamming 100 counters on it immediately).
So there you have it. I'll definitely make a few changes, but this is the initial list. It can actually be pretty powerful once it gets rolling, but it's a fun casual deck and isn't annoying or cheap for everyone else. Enjoy!!
Yeah, not sure where you got your info from ZemogFC. Double check the ban list.
I had the "pleasure" of witnessing a 4-way Rofellos/Elves EDH crapfest. Worst 6 hours of my life.
I don't see anything wrong with your build. Maybe use Snow-Covered Forests with that Extraplanar Lens for mucho lulz (it prevents other people from taking advantage of the Lens, assuming they're not running SCFs as well, which they likely will not) You might have to start swapping them for regular forests once your playgroup catches on
Asking out a girl is like trying to cast a first turn Necropotence. Sometimes the other player will have the Force of Will to say no. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying it.

Kidding. I think ROFL-los lives up to his name, and is never unfun to lose against, so works for me. BTW, ridiculous 200 whetwheel...
