Why is it indestructible again? There are plenty of ways to make a better creature that uses all three colors that would be far more interesting than Amakua of Fortitude. Look at Kederekt Creeper.
Hahaha! Kederekt Creeper sucked! At least their is tension in his design!
Point is: People are finally committing, but the creator of the thread (and hence only effective authority) doesn't give a direction - at just this point all it takes is netn9 saying: "We have shards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 with mechanical theme 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and keyword 1, 2, 4 (since not all shards have a keyword)."
After saying this there are multiple options for netn9 (A) opening multiple new threads (checking with moderators beforehand whether they're okay with it - knowing Kraj though it should be cool); or (B) restricting the action to this thread and deciding "We start with shard 1, brainstorm for shard 1!". I could also imagine some hybrid approaches, but that's basically it.
Another option would be to appoint five people to open their respective shard-threads if netn9 doesn't want the responsibility to maintain an updated clean post #1 for each thread (which should be done).
But without someone willing to make a call, there is no chance for progress.
Oh, and ideally everything comes with a commitment message: "For the next month nobody attempts to change the keywords or themes, but is solely concentrated on making the given ideas work."
For that reason the person making the call should have a good overview over their decisions.
Have fun!

Well, I asked you many times and I will ask again now - What I need to put in the OP?
Final decisions on which incarnation of which shard/theme/keyword (or lack there-of) is valid is still the answer.
We have, but only for the commons. I am trying to make a full skeleton and a skeleton for Valheim now.
Yeah, I was mostly thinking of a skeleton... for each shard (including slots for inter-shard cycles, intra-shard cycles etc.) as well as maybe a subset of slots for things that can be filled shard-independent needs here in this thread.

"We" won't ever decide - I am strictly opposed to some ideas brought forth by others, who do not embrace some ideas I have suggested and am *very* happy with.
Hence I suggest you as the creator of the thread make a call based on what you consider popular and fitting and we commit to that decision to get the creative process going before we spent another month on the back and forth of mechanic suggestions and rewordings.
Everyone has their pet-mechanic, but by virtue of OP your word should decide.

Hi guys, I really love the ideas of this set - I was wondering if I could chip in with Essya?
The Great Witch had three daughters and when she died, the bond between them broke - leading them into a benial hatred for one another. They now seek to destroy each other in the most dispicable of ways. Each sister attained a Gorgon to aid them in the take over of this moldy, muddy jungle. Sister Ah'Lia obtained the Gorgon of Thought and Insight. Sister Barona seeked help from the Gorgon of Doom and Decay, whilst Sister Narissa found the Gorgon of Primal Instinct and Vitality.
The jungle plane contains powerful magical crystals hidden deep within itself. Some say these crystals give life to the very forest, coupled with corruption, allows the forest to die, only to renew itself in the form of death to seek the life it once had.
Essencya//EssyaGUB
The colours represent Life, Thought, Death, Mutation, Secrecy and of course Corruption. Theme(s)
"Sacrifice effects especially centered around creatures and lands."
"Corrupted ways of thinking gaining a major advantage."
"Corruption has its way of doing anything to get its way."
Creatures
Gorgons worshipped as Demigods. Witches lead the magics that exist in true shamanic structure or lack thereof. Moldy beings raised from the decayed carcasses. Wizards and Necromancers control the creatures with their powerful mind control and corrupted advice.
Creature Types
Gorgons - Should not be in card form, but rather what they represent.
Witches - Zombie Shaman; Human Shaman; Elf Shaman.
Moldy Beings - Anything from Zombie to Skeleton Elemental or Saproling
Wizards and Necromancers - Zombie Wizard; Human Wizard; Elf Wizard.
Keywords
*I'm willing to give some from my own set as it fits so perfectly here.
(Greater Good) - When you sacrifice ~, you may {do something}.
Reborn N (At the beginning of your upkeep you may pay N life, if you do, return this card to your hand.)
Flashback or Threshold??? Fits perfectly.
I have created a few things you could work with.
Decay1B
Instant
Flashback - Pay 1 life (C)
Reborn 2 (At the beginning of your upkeep you may pay 2 life, if you do, return this card to your hand.)
Target creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn. "Yeeheehee, looks like my little bugs found its next victim!"
- Sister Barona
Moldy Walker1GUB
Creature - Zombie Elemental (U)
(Greater Good) - If you sacrificed Moldy Walker, put two 1/1 green Saproling creature tokens into play.
Reborn 4 (At the beginning of your upkeep you may pay 4 life, if you do, return this card to your hand.) "Out of the dark jungle came a walking moss. Out of the walking moss, came a..."
3/4
Thoughtmancer2U
Creature - Human Wizard (C)
Sacrifice Thoughtmancer: Draw a card.
Threshold - U, sacrifice Thoughtmancer: Draw two cards. (Play this ability only if seven or more cards are in your graveyard.)
1/1
I can see a pretty sick aggro deck being the result of alot of reborn 1 creatures.
Threshold fits these colors very well.. which reminded me of Madness, which also would work really well in these colors.
I have another idea..
We all know Force of Will is pretty much broken, but what if we had a mechanic like..
Will of the Buried3UB
Instant
KEYWORD - Instead of paying the manacost for this spell, you may discard any number of cards which shares a color with this card from your hand who's converted mana cost adds up the converted mana cost of this spell.
Is there a way to word so you'd actually have to add up the cards you discarded's mana cost to make the mana cost for the card you're playing. Like, for this, I'd need to discard both a black and a blue card to get the U and the B?

Reborn will never ever be Reborn 1 - that is too powerful, small creatures will get Reborn 2 at least. I only did Reborn 4 for my Moldy Walker because that card cycle has to be powerful (a little above the curve)
Well the wording for your keyword needs work.
Should be something along the lines of the Patrons You may cast this card any time you could cast an instant by sacrificing a Goblin and paying the difference in mana costs between this and the sacrificed Goblin. Mana cost includes color.
Keyword As you cast this spell you may discard any amount of cards and paying the difference in mana costs between this and the discarded cards. Mana cost includes color.
We can call it Offering?
Will of the Buried3UB
Instant (R)
Offering (As you cast this spell you may discard any amount of cards and paying the difference in mana costs between this and the discarded cards. Mana cost includes color.)
Counter target spell. Its controller loses 3 life. "Yeehahaha, you thought the dead was forgotten?"
- Sister Ah'lia
What do you think of the Greater Good keyword?
Can we name it Ritual? (if of course you like it)
I don't know how close to carbon copying the design of SoA you guys want to be, but I always consider this an exercise of varying on the existing.
For example, I recall the Heralds as something that could be recalled, but without 1:1 extending the cycle to ten cards.
One possibility would be to have them simply not Herald big creatures, but e. g. the Ultimatums. They would have names like Disaster's Herald etc.
Another possibility would be to make them e. g. Gorgo's Servant and have them a synergestic effects with the creature when it is in play.
Third idea: They give you a cost reduction for the whole race of the Lord-creature like Dragonspeaker Shaman.
Just something to make the returning themes les formulaic.

Ok people, this is it! You are all welcome to register to this great project!
Here is the plan:
In this thread, we are going to discuss about this set as a whole (The main story, the returned mechanic/s, the story and mechanics of each shard, Design Skeleton and card list of the whole set, etc..)
In the specific shard threads, we are going to discuss about that shard and its effect on the whole set (For example, in the :symw::symb::symr: shard thread, the discussion will be on the story of the shard, its mechanic, Design Skeleton and card list of the shard, how the shard interact with the other shards, etc...)
So thats means that we are going to need 6 threads (This "main" thread and five more, one for each shard), and you could register to any of them right now!
This is what you need to do in order to register:
1) Tell us you want to be in this project and what shard you want to design.
2) Answer this question: What are the things, mechanics and flavors that match each color of the shard you had chosen (For example, you answer may be "Color A, B and C have in common... and they have different at...)
3) Suggest one mechanic for the shard you had chosen.
4) Create 3 common cards, 1 of each color of the shard you had chosen with your suggested mechanic.

So, who with me?
ok I'll cave. I'll design the red black white shard. I love the storyline (cuz....I wrote it >_> hehe) and I've already got a feel for where it should go or is going.
I want the warpath mechanic because fighting is something that is very white and attacking with a certain number of creatures (a la windbrisk heights) can be flavorful as well. I think red can get in on the fighting aspect while black can come along for the ritualistic and sacrificial nature.
White in valheim: Very battle oriented. The goal of anyone on this shard is to not only enter battle but to die in battle. White embraces the ritualistic side of battle for the sake of seeking the afterlife. It's influenced by red in foregoing peace for the sake of battlelust. It's influenced by black by being obsessed with the afterlife.
Cards from M11 that you'd like to see in this shard:
Black in valheim: Though usually less battle oriented it can't help but appreciate the self sacrificial nature of the endless war. It's more than willing to lend its brute strength for drawbacks just to get in the fray. There's a subsect obssessed with death and reviving the fallen which will flow nicely into the neter shard blend
Black cards from the past you would like to see in this shard:
red in valheim: War? Heck yeah. Red completely embraces the battle and chaos of dying in battle. It's more than willing to lend its hasty beats and impressive aggressives to the fray regardless of the outcome. When it comes to war, nobody does it better than red with a hint of white.
The wedge should have a excessively small amount of creatures, because it tries to squelch all natural forces(Since it's color-wheel enemies are the essence of nature). It tries to build it's own civilization without the need of nature, think Ravnica meets Esper, but even more devoid of wild life. It's oceans, lakes, and rives are drained of water to inhibit the development of wild animals, and to assert it's lack of dependence on nature. It synthesizes all of it's nutrition. They keep their own population low even, to keep itself at optimum efficiency. There will be a few artifacts, but the main artifacts here will be artifact lands, to show the fact they tame the natural landscape.
One mechanic for the set should be a sort of reverse Naya, inhibiting creatures stronger than yourself.
Examples:
Scorch the Wild3RR Instant (U)
Scorch the wild deals 5 damage to target creature with power 4 or greater, then destroy target basic land that creature's controller controls.
(Yeah, I know red destroying basics sounds wierd, but it's part of the flavor.)
Beast Squelcher2W Creature - Human Wizard (C) 2W,T: Destroy target attacking creature with power greater than Beast Squelcher's. If something wild would make it's way to Sentine, the Squelchers ensure they don't remain.
2/2
Focused Scholar1U Creature - Human Wizard (U) U,T: Draw a card. Activate this ability only if no player controls a creature with power greater than Focused Scholar. "I am dedicated to my research. Wild tendencies only distract from that."
2/1
Wudda ya think?

Well we have Warpath for WBR but if your shard has no keyword it means the other three shards need keyword mechanics.
I don't think you need to be that strict, and won't warpath be a keyword, or at least a keyword?
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.

Blabla. No.
It is a convenient solution, but not obligatory.
