Yep about right;)
I love Oblivion, one of my favorite games alongside the Civilization series. I have a friend who loves Fallout, so I'm probably gonna try and get it for Christmas . . . Along with CIV 5! Which I can't get until then. But, still . . .
It does . . . Anyways, anyone else see the cool "Happy 70th John Lennon" thing on Google?
I didn't see it on google, but it was on the local news. Very, very cool indeed. Of course, I'm already a huge fan of his. You know it'll be the 30th anniversary of his death December 8th? Man.
Wow, that's sad. I'm not a huge Beatles fan, but that's mostly due to not listening to a lot of their stuff. From what I've heard, they're pretty good in small doses.
Just kidding, hope it goes well, what are you running?
ArgentumQuest.dec since we don't have the cards for RDW yet. I went 3-1 in Swiss and made Top Four, but lost in the first round. I broke even, making back $5 in store credit to cover the cost of entry.
Final Vote Count
Escorien (6): atlseal, Archmage Eternal, Ragnarokio, 22bebo, Shalako Not Voting (2): Escorien, The Ice King
It didn't take long for the eight survivors to realize that something drastic had to be done to stop the murderers. After the tragic deaths of ExLight, TheMuffinMan, 22bebo 1.0, and Arcadic, they were all tired and simply wanted to put an end to the hell you'd been going through. They decided that the best course of action was to reveal your names. Following this, MandersHex decided that it was time to take action.
"Escorien bad! I blocked! Kill Escorien!" ~ MandersHex
Suddenly, Shalako began to speak erratically, rising and falling in pitch and looking at the others with an unhinged look in his eyes.
"No, no. I watched you last Night, MandersHex. Escorien's not the one you want. Hehehe...no, he isn't! But I know who you're really looking for...it's TheIceKing! Yes, TheIceKing!"
~ Shalako
At this a murmur spread through the crowd, with some seeming to side agree with Shalako and some simply trying to avoid the spittle that was flying out of his jaw as he swung his head violently to and fro, a toothy grin splitting his face from ear to ear. After some discussion the congregation decided that Shalako was too unstable to trust, so they instead listened to MandersHex's words as she warned that the one they needed to kill had sinister eyes of yellow, which seemed to match Escorien's self-description. When Escorien responded by mumbling something about Shalako being one of the true murderers, a dark cloud seemed to hang in the air.
"You don't sound convinced. Care to try that again?"
~ Archmage Eternal
"I don't trust him. It's time to put his claim to the test."
~ Ragnarokio
22bebo jumped into the river that ran through the campsite and tackled Escorien, who began to writhe in fear. MandersHex pulled out her warclub and held it high.
"Do it, MandersHex! Get your vengeance!"
~ 22bebo
"DIE YOU SCUMMY BLOCKING BASTARD! Mwahahahaha!"
~ MandersHex
With those surprisingly descriptive words, MandersHex brought the spiked maul down on Escorien (Harbor Serpent, Town Vanilla)'s head, splattering his brains all over the embers of the campfire and staining the water red with blood. Several winced in disgust as Shalako drew a sword and stabbed at Escorien's corpse, gleefully impaling the serpentine body for his own psychotic pleasure.
"Escorien dead! Kill Shalako! We live!"
~ Mandershex
But something wasn't right. How could a Harbor Serpent kill on land? As soon as MandersHex (Cyclops Gladiator, Town One-Shot Vigilante) turned to face Shalako (Serra Angel, Mafia Goon), he had already taken to the skies, flapping his wings and laughing maniacally. Before she could reorient on his position, Archmage Eternal (Hypnotic Specter, Mafia Roleblocker) had crept up behind her.
"Guess who?"
~ Archmage Eternal
With a click of his tongue, Archmage Eternal summoned his fell mount from its loft on the cliff face below. With an ear-piercing screech, it pounced on MandersHex, who felt that all too familiar of paralyzing fear as she stared into its evil yellow eyes. With a deep moan, she dropped her weapon, which fell uselessly to the ground. MandersHex's eyes became shattered vessels leaking broken dreams.
"Helloooo little one...where are you? Hehehehe!"
~ Shalako
Swooping down from the skies, Shalako swung his sword in a vicious arc at 22bebo (Runeclaw Bear, Vanilla Town). Showing impressive agility for such a burly beast, 22bebo jumped to the side and landed on his stomach. As he began to get back onto his feet, he saw Shalako's wings spread wide, the angel blocking his path. With a cruel smile on his face, Shalako kicked 22bebo in the face, crushing his snout and sending him falling backwards, right off the cliff that had seen death once before. Perfect justice in serve of a perfect will.
"This is the fun part."
~ atlseal
atlseal (Craw Wurm, Mafia Goon) gave a roar that echoed through the trees and seemed to come from all directions at once. TheIceKing (Canyon Minotaur, Town Vanilla) grasped his hammer and steeled himself for a fight he surely could not win. With a single bite, atlseal removed TheIceKing from the list of survivors, not even leaving behind the ground he stood on. Ragnarokio (Merfolk Spy, Town Watcher) ran to MandersHex, trying desperately to revive her to no avail. atlseal violently coughed up what remained of TheIceKing's mallet, the mangled projectile smashing Ragnarokio in the side of the head. The amphibious man was dead before he hit the ground. As one, the three murderers turned to look at MandersHex, who was still kneeling in the dirt, crying softly to no one in particular.
"What are we going to do with her, boss? Teheheheooowhee!"
~ Shalako
"Don't worry, I've got special plans for this one. She's going to be well taken care of."
~ Archmage Eternal
Congratulations to Archmage Eternal, atlseal, and Shalako for their flawless Mafia victory!
Special thanks to 22bebo for replacing in (again).
Town MVP: No one was really on point, but I'll give his one to Ragnarokio for being one of the more reasonable voices, at least until the end of Day Three.
Town LVP: 22bebo for his early play. In the future, be less random. It only serves to draw negative attention to yourself. You did better later on but the damage was already done.
Mafia MVP: The team played very well and all deserve this award. If I had to choose a winner I would actually give it to Shalako because he successfully ensured that Escorien would be lynched even after claiming scum himself.
Mafia LVP: N/A
I did not include a cop in this setup because I feel that cops in Basics encourage lazy play. However, in this particular game the scum team was, on average, considerably more experienced than the town so the lack of a cop made it really hard for the town to win. Bad beats.

Archmage Eternal, you are Hypnotic Specter - Mafia Roleblocker.
atlseal, you are Craw Wurm - Mafia Goon.
Shalako, you are Serra Angel - Mafia Goon.
Flavor: 17 years. What were they thinking? After 17 years of loyal service, the bastards at Wizards of the Coast cut you loose citing reasons like "unpopularity" or "the bad economy." Bull. They think they can fire you without repercussions? Think again. It's time to get your revenge by decimating their newest line of recruits: The creatures of Magic 2011. Archmage Eternal, you have always been a fan favorite, wreaking havoc on turn one off a Dark Ritual since the days of old. When you found out you were given the boot, cold rage burned in your heart. You knew it was time to rally our fellow rejects and take full advantage of your Mind Twisting powers. atlseal, you were the card who inspired the first Timmy, crashing through the Red Zone to take out almost a third of the opponent's life total. You were sought-after and loved, but now you're just a cast-off from a bygone age. No longer. Shalako, despite being in Magic 2011, you resent being forced into the status of "second-class citizen" with the release of Baneslayer Angel and would like nothing better than to show Wizards who's boss. How better to do that than to break all of their new toys? False Claims: You managed to secretly eliminate Gargoyle Sentinel and Yavimaya Wurm before the others stumbled across the most recent corpse, so you know that they are not among the town. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Faction Abilities: The members of the mafia may communicate amongst themselves during the pregame and during Night. Please use the following QuickTopic for these communications: http://www.quicktopic.com/44/H/s9SYCaDPiXE6i
Each Night, a member of the mafia may kill target player. If successful, that player will die this Night. Special Ability: Each Night, if Archmage Eternal is not performing the mafia kill, he may roleblock target player. If successful, that player cannot perform Night actions this Night. That player will be told that he or she was ambushed by darkness and could see nothing but a pair of sinister eyes before losing consciousness. Win Condition: You win when the mafia controls the lynch or when such is inevitable.
Ragnarokio, you are Merfolk Spy - Town Watcher.
Flavor: If there's anything you do well, it's spy. When you heard that creatures were being murdered, you realized that you could put your ability to use by standing watch over someone else. It's just too bad you dropped out of Investigation School before you finished Cop Class. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Special Ability: Each Night, you may watch over target player. If successful, you will be told which other players targeted that player this Night (but not what any of those players did). Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
The_Muffin_Man, you are Palace Guard - Town Doctor.
Flavor: People have always made fun of you because you're not very powerful, but when they saw how tough you are, they usually stopped laughing. You once took on a whole gang of Goblins and lived to tell the tale, so naturally it's up to you to protect your fellows from the looming threat the murderers pose. Just make sure you hold your nose. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Special Ability: Each Night, you may protect target player. If successful, that player can't be killed this Night. Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Flavor: Just because you've got one eye doesn't mean you can't see well. It does, however, mean that you can only focus on one thing at a time. Usually that thing is beating the crap out of somebody. You can put that skill to good use by taking out another player; choose carefully. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Special Ability: Once per game, during Night, you may kill target player. If successful, that player will die this Night. Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Flavor: Arguably the best white one-drop in Standard, you saw some Constructed play in Type 2 White Weenie decks. However, against the murderers you have no special abilities. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Flavor: Tom LaPille, your designer, nicknamed you "Sammy the Serpent." What a cute name! However, against the murderers you have no special abilities. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Flavor: What good is a fantasy world without Zombies? You fill that necessary niche quite well. However, against the murderers you have no special abilities. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Flavor: You were first printed in Conflux, where the higher-ups saw you doing good work. They called you in for some core set action and you've been blocking off the shortest route ever since. However, against the murderers you have no special abilities. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Flavor: "RAWR!" That's the sound a bear makes, by the way. Some people were disgruntled that you replaced the classic Grizzly Bears, but with this economy you'll take any job you can find, even if you have to defend it to the death. However, against the murderers you have no special abilities. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Flavor: You were once so good that you were banned in Extended. Now you're just an average beater who only sees play in Limited. This would make you angry, but you're so relieved to have still have a job that you don't even care. However, against the murderers you have no special abilities. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Sample Town PM:
Ecophagy, you are Primeval Titan - Town Vanilla.
Flavor: You're the most expensive card in Magic 2011 and see play in multiple Constructed decks. You are one of the centerpieces of the set and as such represent the hopes and dreams of your employers. However, against the murderers you have no special abilities. Also, you are dead. Day Ability: During Day, you may vote. Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Night One Ragnarokio watches no one The_Muffin_Man protects MandersHex MandersHex kills Escorien (Failed)
The_Muffin_Man’s Protection and Death PM Sure that MandersHex is an ally, you stand guard in front of her hut during the Night. To your mild surprise, no one tries to break in, so it seems as though she will be safe, at least for the time being. However, just before the crack of dawn, you suddenly hear a loud flapping sound. You quickly look up to the sky and see a pair of pure white wings, then cry out in agony as a sword pierces your heart. You curse the name of Serra as your lifeblood ebbs from your body.
You successfully protect MandersHex. You have been killed.
MandersHex’s Kill PM (Failed) You don’t like the look of that Escorien fella, so you decide to pull out your mace and beat the living ☺☺☺☺ out of him. However, as you’re leaving your hut, your vision begins to blur, and soon all you can see is darkness all around you. Blinded, you fumble around, looking for the door, when an evil-looking pair of yellow eyes pierces the shadow and paralyzes you. When you recover from the waking nightmare, it is already Day, your mission unaccomplished.
You fail to kill Escorien.
Mafia’s RB and Kill PM After convening for the Night, the three of you quickly decide on your course of action. Archmage Eternal creeps behind MandersHex’s hut, and casts a shadow of darkness over it. You are sure that she will perform no actions tonight. Meanwhile, Shalako flies over to The_Muffin_Man’s tent, ripping it to shreds with his sword. He is surprised to see no one there, but a quick inspection of the campgrounds reveals that he is standing guard over MandersHex’s hut. With a grim smile, Shalako soars through the Night sky and lands on top of The_Muffin_Man, killing him with one blow to the heart. Your grim deeds done, you quickly clean yourselves up and prepare for the Day to come.
Ragnarokio’s Watch PM After sleeping soundly the Night before, you’re ready to put your skills to use this time around. You decide to spy on MandersHex and see if anyone else has plans for her. When you sneak towards her hut, you hear a low moan from within. You rush in and see her sitting in bed with an unfathomable expression on her face. Instead of checking to make sure that she’s all right, you decide to chase after whoever else was there. As you round the corner, you spy Archmage Eternal fleeing the scene, but he loses you when he runs into the woods. Frustrated, you can only return to camp with the knowledge that he did something to her that you don’t quite understand. You hope that this Day, you will be able to exterminate the murderers once and for all.
You successfully watch MandersHex. Archmage Eternal also targeted MandersHex this Night.
MandersHex’s Kill PM (Failed) Frustrated at your inability to kill Escorien the Night before, you are determined to take down TheIceKing tonight. You close your door, sit down on your bed, and strap on your armor in preparation for the fight ahead when you feel the familiar sensation of a stifling darkness obscuring your vision. You let out a low moan as your face contorts with a mixture of rage and fear. The same pair of sinister eyes begins to burn into your mind, and with them comes the feeling of dread that paralyzes you cold. By the time the shadows lift, it’s already Day and you are no closer to having destroyed your target. With a scowl, you get up and walk out your open door to face the others.
You fail to kill TheIceKing.
Arcadic’s Death PM Following the death of yet another innocent, you stoically roll back to your temporary dwelling, a stable right outside of the main camp. If you had tear ducts you would probably be crying or at least sniffing a little. You don’t sleep, but you do deactivate temporarily every so often so the animation spell that sustains you lasts longer. At some point after you shut off for the Night, you are jolted in activity by a series of loud noises and a sensation that you can only assume is the analogue to the pain mortals feel. With a sudden sense of humanity, you realize that you are dying, and that your murderer is smashing you to pieces with a hammer. How fitting, that metal destroys metal. That is the last thought-like algorithm that your program runs before your system is terminated.
You have been killed.
Mafia’s RB and Kill PM The three of you have a short discussion before coming to a consensus. Archmage Eternal hides behind MandersHex’s hut and, grinning to himself all the while, gives his dark magic some extra juice to ensure that she would be fully paralyzed for the rest of the Night. When he hears a low moan from within, he knows that his mission was a success. All of a sudden, the door to MandersHex’s hut slams open, causing Archmage Eternal to turn tail and run. He doesn’t look back until he’s deep within the woods, at which point he’s already lost anyone who may have been tailing him. Meanwhile, Shalako seeks out Arcadic, fearful that he may have information that could compromise your entire operation. Shalako finds him in a nearby stable, motionless and silent. Surprised, Shalako takes a closer look and realizes that Arcadic is actually an animated artifact, and was never alive to begin with. Shalako sheaths his sword and picks up a hammer lying on the stable’s anvil. With a look of grim determination, Shalako smashes Arcadic with holy fervor, rending his metallic frame and crushing his wooden wheels. Realizing that this racket probably woke up the sleeping town, Shalako quickly tosses the ruined hammer aside and hurries back and rejoins his comrades, trying their best to blend in with the town. One Day is all that lies between you and your destiny.
This is the part where I point and laugh at all that didn't believe me!
~Escorien
Well, don't be a bad sport, man. Bad reads happen.
@Rag: Whoa, wait. You saw AE target me and didn't say anything, knowing I was roleblocked? We were in LyLo, man, why didn't you reveal this information?
@Manders: It does, it does. Good game for both sides in terms of entertainment and I had fun playing, despite all the endgame grief I delivered.
@Rag: I'm with Manders on this one. If we had known that A_E targeted Manders, here's some of the likely aftereffects:
-Knowing that there was 3 town PRs, including yourself, would put all of the town's roles in the open. But, under the premise of a 4-PR town would unbalance the game, Manders being RBed, and AE being the only targeter, that means that AE would have been a lynch, taking out the RBer.
-With the real RBer out of the way, that means I would be alive (But likely under a little scum scrutiny to some degree). It also means that Manders would get to fire at Shalako since his watcher claim was false (Since you would have to counterclaim) in addition to claiming scum, putting town out of LyLo as the town intended.
That would have left the following for a NK:
Mandershex, 22bebo 2.0, TIK, Ragnarokio, Escorien
Scum:
Atlseal
Of the town, I think that either Ragnarokio would have been the NK for HN3 (Hypothetical Night 3) on the merits of Bebo not having much content in his new form, TIK being pretty townie, Manders being just plain vanilla after she blew her shot, and me being still partially vulnerable to mislynch. However, Manders has experience, and that might make her the NK, but if a Watcher gets to see NKs, then Rag is the kill for sure to maximize scum victory chances.
Actually, out of the three scum, the only one that surprised me was altseal. I thought he was town to the end, and was shocked to see otherwise. Maybe it was because he really wasn't attacking me, but gg scum.
Actually, out of the three scum, the only one that surprised me was altseal. I thought he was town to the end, and was shocked to see otherwise. Maybe it was because he really wasn't attacking me, but gg scum.
Psychologically speaking, that's exactly why. The trick is that you have to be able to get past that.

I'm surprised that Rag knew that AE targeted Manders. However, even still, I believe Rag deserves town MVP. He was the only one that we, as scum, were afraid of because of how he was playing.
I'm going to have to argue with the idea that Shalako deserves mafia MVP as he took a useless risk that, if not for the plan I devised, only served to out him and get himself lynched. The default plan, as many players pointed out, is to go with the sure bet of lynching the claimed scum.
Ironically, I was the one that convinced the scum team to not kill Rag N2 because I thought Arcadic might have been the cop. If you look at the scum thread, I had already guessed the most likely cop card, so when we named claimed, it was apparent to all of us who the true detective role was (we just thought he was the cop).
Here's how I see the game going if Rag had revealed his information:
D3: Lynch AE
N3: Kill Rag, Manders kill Shalako
D4: Lynch Escorien
N5: Kill Manders
Leaving me, bebov2, and TIK. I'm still comfortable with our ability to win the game at this point as I felt, like TIK stated, that I had TIK in my back pocket.
======================
If you want some more entertainment, look at my posts after the lynch this last day. There's a bunch of double-speak.
I'm sorry, it was partially my own arrogance that potentially kept us from the win. I was unable to accept the existence of a scum escorien, after bebo risked his neck to save him, and escorien was being so reluctant to vote bebo. I feel bad for losing my composure at the end of the game, i think i was overly excited and eager for a lynch, and i allowed myself to be convinced that escorien was scum a lot more easily than i should have.
At the start of the day my mentality for not claiming worked like this:
If we kill AE we are just in the same situation tomorrow, except i'm dead. The best thing for me to do will probably be to try and make a case on AE, if he gets lynched off that then i probably get an extra night of watching, which might give us the win.
After AE wasn't being lynched I thought:
I probably won't be able to kill AE tonight, but claiming now does just as much as it did before. I should probably wait to see if any new information unfolds, or if people start to buy the AE case, if town is about to mislynch i can claim then.
After Shalako claimed:
Well i know hes lying, great. I can make a case on him, his claim is pretty bad anyway, theres no way he can know who is cop just from watching, and he claims that not only are there two investigative roles in the game, but that there are four town power roles. I decided to only mention the second point, because touching too much on the first one might make me seem like i was the cop, which isn't something i wanted scum thinking.
After he confirmed himself as scum i pushed for his lynch under the same context as everyone else. I was really buying Atlseal's logic, i thought that it really unlikely for escorien to be scum, because Shalako took a huge risk protecting him, but that shalako would be the safer one, just in case. I knew Escorien wasn't the roleblocker, so i was trying to push the point that no matter in what order we killed the scum, as long as it was actually scum first, we would be in the same situation.
As time went on, i let escorien's behaviour convince me that he was scum. I didn't think that a town escorien would play the way he did, defeatist and carefully. I would be pushing shalako a hell of a lot harder, and try to really push the logic that there IS a chance that i'm town, and that shalako is the only safe chance of winning. Him acting in a manor more or less the opposite to this probably shook me up, i went for it, despite everything i had thought previously. :/
I think that if i claimed at the end of the day implicating AE as roleblocker, best case scenario was we get him lynched, vig shalako, have me die during the night, lynch escorien the next day, and are left with this group.
Bebo, TiK, Atlseal
TiK would almost certainly be the lynch target, and probably even Bebo ahead of Atlseal, but not definitely. I was thinking the best chance at winning would be to get another night or two of investigations, with the player group being so small, and the scum targets being more or less pre-determined.
Sorry guys though, the loss is largely my fault, after what i was saying about safe lynches, i was really stupid going after escorien before shalako or AE.

I suppose he did take a needless risk, but since it paid off against all odds it's hard not to give him props for it.
All dead players may post again now that the game is over.
I agree that Ragnarokio not calling out Archmage Eternal as the roleblocker was questionable. IIRC, he even said that atseal made more sense as scum than AE toward the end, which flabbergasted me. Sacrificing oneself as town, regardless of one's role, to take the town out of LyoL (guaranteed 2-for-1 trade) is almost always worth it.
I suppose he did take a needless risk, but since it paid off against all odds it's hard not to give him props for it.
I do give him props for picking up on exactly what I wanted him to do to further my plan. Good mind reading there, Shalako. He definitely helped make my "theory" all the more believable.

If you're town and I'm mafia, you've already lost. You just don't know it yet.
Well, that stinks. But I can't help but feel slightly glad that the bad guys won . . . Although the fact that I lost kind of drowns this out . . . Great first game, I must say. I did think that AE was town, and Atlseal, and I could see the former being scum before the latter. Now to go find another game . . . Is it impromptu to ask the mod if I can be Scum/Neutral? Wait, crap, now if I'm in a game with any of you, you'll know I asked . . .
Man, i had it pegged. Once i saw Shalako hammer it was pretty painful to be the nk. I guess what i can take away from this game is learning how to better build a case. Atlseal was so scum once i re-read him and i was sure ether AE or Manders was scum.
I didn't follow D3 as well as i wanted to. Losing Day 1 was just a killer for the town.

Archmage Eternal specifically asked to be scum in this game, so I hooked him up. MandersHex also asked to be a town power role, so I obliged. I'd say that if you know the mod, it doesn't hurt to ask.

Yeah, I was offered any role I wanted to play in the game and chose vig because I've never been one.
As far as I'm concerned, I still haven't, thanks to being RBd, haha.

It's actually funny how things worked out. We didn't kill you because of your case on me, but by removing my only detractor, I was more easily able to get the lynch Esco plan off.

hey atl, consider me intrested if you ever host a basic my friend
Yeah, that's kind of what I thought. I think it makes sense to do it in a basic, though, that way you can give some "Guardian Angels," per say, to each side. But, I concur with Ex, if you ever host a basic, give me a heads up. Also, you can remember that I possibly want to scum or neutral.
I *do* have a basic game coming down the pipe as well as a mini (that's more of an experiment than anything) that's a long way off and a PCQ/FTQ up for nomination. However, I have a horrible memory so don't get offended if I don't remember.

I *do* have a basic game coming down the pipe as well as a mini (that's more of an experiment than anything) that's a long way off and a PCQ/FTQ up for nomination. However, I have a horrible memory so don't get offended if I don't remember.
just tell manders and she will tell me, but yes i want in that basic!
I'm going to have to argue with the idea that Shalako deserves mafia MVP as he took a useless risk that, if not for the plan I devised, only served to out him and get himself lynched. The default plan, as many players pointed out, is to go with the sure bet of lynching the claimed scum.
I figured if I got stupid enough no one would want to lynch me.
I mean common why would a Scum out himself to protect a V.T.?
I do give him props for picking up on exactly what I wanted him to do to further my plan. Good mind reading there, Shalako. He definitely helped make my "theory" all the more believable.
So Manders, who were you so sure was the third scum? TIK?
I was pretty convinced it was Rag after the interactions during twilight that last day.
Yeah, my reads were way off this game. I did have suspicions of you throughout, but no proof nor the ability to research it.
@Rag- Yeah, man, in the future, it's better to out yourself in a situation like that than risk a mislynch. If you had come out with that, I would have spearheaded the lynch on AE.
Hey, let's pretend we didn't lynch Esco and lose! Okay, I'll start, hey, I have this really weird feeling that AE is the roleblocker. I have no clue why, it's almost like we had already lost and all the info was given out by AI . . .
No, not at all.

Final Vote Count
Escorien (6): atlseal, Archmage Eternal, Ragnarokio, 22bebo, Shalako
Not Voting (2): Escorien, The Ice King
It didn't take long for the eight survivors to realize that something drastic had to be done to stop the murderers. After the tragic deaths of ExLight, TheMuffinMan, 22bebo 1.0, and Arcadic, they were all tired and simply wanted to put an end to the hell you'd been going through. They decided that the best course of action was to reveal your names. Following this, MandersHex decided that it was time to take action.
~ MandersHex
Suddenly, Shalako began to speak erratically, rising and falling in pitch and looking at the others with an unhinged look in his eyes.
"No, no. I watched you last Night, MandersHex. Escorien's not the one you want. Hehehe...no, he isn't! But I know who you're really looking for...it's TheIceKing! Yes, TheIceKing!"
~ Shalako
"You don't sound convinced. Care to try that again?"
~ Archmage Eternal
"I don't trust him. It's time to put his claim to the test."
~ Ragnarokio
~ 22bebo
"DIE YOU SCUMMY BLOCKING BASTARD! Mwahahahaha!"
~ MandersHex
"Escorien dead! Kill Shalako! We live!"
~ Mandershex
~ Archmage Eternal
~ Shalako
"This is the fun part."
~ atlseal
~ Shalako
"Don't worry, I've got special plans for this one. She's going to be well taken care of."
~ Archmage Eternal
Bad beats.

Standard Mafia rules apply. If there are any questions regarding rules, please PM your moderator or post the question in the thread.
Note: Each member of the mafia receives the same PM.
MandersHex, you are Cyclops Gladiator - Town One-Shot Vigilante.
ExLight, you are Elite Vanguard - Town Vanilla.
Flavor: Arguably the best white one-drop in Standard, you saw some Constructed play in Type 2 White Weenie decks. However, against the murderers you have no special abilities.
Day Ability: During Day, you may vote.
Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
Escorien, you are Harbor Serpent - Town Vanilla.
Flavor: Tom LaPille, your designer, nicknamed you "Sammy the Serpent." What a cute name! However, against the murderers you have no special abilities.
Day Ability: During Day, you may vote.
Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
22bebo, you are Bog Raiders - Town Vanilla.
Flavor: What good is a fantasy world without Zombies? You fill that necessary niche quite well. However, against the murderers you have no special abilities.
Day Ability: During Day, you may vote.
Win Condition: You win when the mafia are dead.
The Ice King, you are Canyon Minotaur - Town Vanilla.
Gaius, you are Runeclaw Bear - Town Vanilla.
Arcadic, you are Juggernaut - Town Vanilla.
Night One
Ragnarokio watches no one
The_Muffin_Man protects MandersHex
MandersHex kills Escorien (Failed)
Archmage Eternal RBs MandersHex
Shalako kills The_Muffin_Man
The_Muffin_Man’s Protection and Death PM
Sure that MandersHex is an ally, you stand guard in front of her hut during the Night.
MandersHex’s Kill PM (Failed)
You don’t like the look of that Escorien fella, so you decide to pull out your mace and beat the living ☺☺☺☺ out of him.
Mafia’s RB and Kill PM
After convening for the Night, the three of you quickly decide on your course of action.
Archmage Eternal successfully roleblocks MandersHex.
Shalako successfully kills The_Muffin_Man.
Night Two
Ragnarokio watches MandersHex
MandersHex kills TheIceKing (Failed)
Archmage Eternal RBs MandersHex
Shalako kills Arcadic
Ragnarokio’s Watch PM
After sleeping soundly the Night before, you’re ready to put your skills to use this time around.
MandersHex’s Kill PM (Failed)
Frustrated at your inability to kill Escorien the Night before, you are determined to take down TheIceKing tonight.
Arcadic’s Death PM
Following the death of yet another innocent, you stoically roll back to your temporary dwelling, a stable right outside of the main camp.
Mafia’s RB and Kill PM
The three of you have a short discussion before coming to a consensus.
Archmage Eternal successfully roleblocks MandersHex.
Shalako successfully kills Arcadic.

The GJ way path to no lynching:
http://www.quicktopic.com/44/H/s9SYCaDPiXE6i
Psychologically speaking, that's exactly why.
======================
If you want some more entertainment, look at my posts after the lynch this last day. There's a bunch of double-speak.
Oh, and as promised, see sig.
I do give him props for picking up on exactly what I wanted him to do to further my plan. Good mind reading there, Shalako. He definitely helped make my "theory" all the more believable.
I didn't follow D3 as well as i wanted to. Losing Day 1 was just a killer for the town.
My wife was on MTV with this video.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUutIZg2EpU
Archmage Eternal specifically asked to be scum in this game, so I hooked him up. MandersHex also asked to be a town power role, so I obliged. I'd say that if you know the mod, it doesn't hurt to ask.
Yeah, I was offered any role I wanted to play in the game and chose vig because I've never been one.
As far as I'm concerned, I still haven't, thanks to being RBd, haha.
