First of all, this deck is intended for both duels and multiplayer, but I'm putting it here since I mostly play multiplayer. Our games range anywhere from 2-6 people, and we usually play with a rule where you can only attack adjacent players.
The reason I play EDH is for fun, so I don't want to put tons of money into the deck. That said, I do prefer to win, so let's not make the deck terrible. This is my first EDH deck on MTGS, so bear with me if it's not great.
The deck works by getting Mayael out quickly and accelerating up to her ability. Oftentimes, I can be flipping out fatties on Turn 4 or 5. Eventually Mayael becomes unnecessary once I've got enough lands in play. At that point I just use my superior creatures to beat the opponent(s) down until I'm able to win.
Any constructive criticism or suggestions are appreciated. Remember, I don't want to spend tons of money on this, so let's set a max price of $5 for a single card, unless it helps the deck a ton, then maybe a $10 limit, but it better be really good for $10.
I just built a Mayael deck as well. I'd drop BoP, and all 3 signets as I've found them only so so and needed spaces for other cards. I'd recommend putting Tooth and Nail, Lurking Predators, Congregation at Dawn, Eternal Dragon.. um there's probably more, but those ones aren't too expensive.
Also, here's my deck if you'd like to take a gander. I also built mine on somewhat of a budget. Hope it helps!
I know it isn't anywhere near budget, but I have a primer on how to play and build Mayael. Check it out. I'm sure you'll find some good strategies.
If you want one single (albeit fairly expensive) card that will help Mayael out, get a Sol RingScroll Rack. The card is just obscene. I talk about it a lot in my thread.
gotta agree with you scroll rack is pretty much the best. i never had any problems with 12 mana though. but then with bloom tender and mana reflection out the tender gave me enough for a free flip essentially. and i always did like flipping over terastodon and woodfall primus in the same turn
I don't like Hamletback Goliath unless you're running Brawn/Survival. Hell, I don't even really care for Serra Avatar. Just gets chump blocked all day.
If you don't want to spend $40 on a Survival, run Fauna Shaman. It's Survival on a creature, and you're in color for an absurd number of creature tutors. The size-of-XBox vanilla guys look a lot better when you can throw Brawn in your graveyard with any sort of consistency.
Also if you're running Mossbridge Troll, run Mayael's Aria. It's a cute little "I win" combo.

A mere ten days after the Mending, a young knight of Valeron and a young ranger of Eos made a discovery that would change Alara forever.
Thanks for all the great advice guys. I have some serious changes to make.
@Raikou Rider: Great primer man, you have so much detail and do a great job of explaining why certain cards are good. This gives me tons of new ideas for the deck.
