So, now that we draft the new set first, print runs are important in the small sets too.
A few notes:
Each faction has a single run of 120 cards; Each common appears 4 times.
Faction packs have 10 consecutive commons.
Regular packs have 5 consecutive Mirran commons then 5 consecutive Phyrexian commons.
Cards get swapped a lot in this set. (ie, if the run is 12345, 12435 happens a lot.) This can even carry over between boosters. Since my sample size was fairly small, there may be a few such swaps in my lists =(
Foils replace a card in either run, regardless of the foil card's faction. The remaining 4 commons are consecutive.
We just had an MBS, MBS, SOM FNM tonight and dude. People had triples and could have had quadruples of cards. This set is dumb lol
We just had a draft where we had multiple packs of a small set despite all the recommendations of Wizards, and people had multiple copies of the same card. Ergo, the set is dumb?
