Started out as something else, changed my mind.
Making a bant blink deck. Jenera doesn't serve much of a purpose outside of an alt win, she might swap for rubina however i like the 3cmc of jenara.
any input is appreciated !
I wonder how many people would find it annoying if I complained just as much about creature combat, because I dislike games where people do nothing but cast creatures, butt heads and do boring combat math?
I would honestly watch how the mana doubling effect enchants work out for you with this deck. I used to run several of them but I think about 90% of the time they would be blown out before my next turn rolled around. They are high profile cards and people definitely notice when they are rolling about on the table. If you dont see them sticking then I would cut them out.
Wild Pair -> I would consider changing this to a Lurking Predators. Both cards are high profile but the Predators activates for free a few times in one turn rotation for you instead of soaking up all of your mana.
Spitting Image -> keep in mind the other Clone type options. Clone is nice if you have some shroud commanders in your meta. I also don't like throwing away lands but it is a decent option to replay it later.
Genesis Chamber other than the fact that Jenara flys so this doesn't hurt her strategy much... I don't really see where you are going with this.
Also don't overlook Jenara's early game presence. I try my best to make her hit the table by turn 3 every game. I don't usually pump her at all the first few turns she is out as you can really put yourself behind the ramp war by doing such. Instead I just start tunneling on one person poking them for 3 per turn with general damage. I can usually poke someone 2-3 times before they consider doing something about her because they want to keep on ramping early. It really puts them in range for an easy kill later from her.
Also as a side note I think the way in which you are posting the cards in your decklist is a bit more difficult than it needs to be. You might want to look into that because I think you can do it easier.
I took literally about 5 seconds to get all of your decklist to post with links. Maybe you should hit quote and just copy what I have between the decktags that way everything in your list has tags for it.
I will definitely keep that in mind about the mana doublers, if I find them being blown up before i get to take advantage of them I will swap them.
The wild pair is there to take advantage of my replaying of creatures and allows me to get specific ones eventho I didnt build around it much, there is a lot of p + t = 4 in the deck ect
Genesis chamber has no real goal outside of having creatures come into play often to trigger it + clamp fodder. the slot could go to anything that will draw me cards really. I feel the deck overall is lacking draw.
Oh, and agreed on your comparison to clone which is both easier to recur and is another creature.
