So, I started out building a Big Red/Artifact deck with Bosh as the commander, and about halfway through, the concept kind of got away from me, and I ended up with three different decks built off the same shell: the Red one, a Blue Memnarch one, and a Mono-Brown Karn deck. All 3 decks share 41 cards at this point, with any combination of two of them sharing about a dozen more. The plan is to put the deck(s) together, swapping the different card packages in and out as the mood to play a different Commander/color strikes.
Here's part 2, Mono-Bluegaloo. Memnarch, Mirrodin's big bad. This version of the deck is a knock on the Big Red shell, with a dash of Good Stuff™ thrown in. Your goal most of the time will be to stick Memnarch and take anything that looks appealing at that moment, building up to when you can take everything, all the time ever, with infinite mana. Said mana can be also be used for a 'lethal' Blue Sun's Zenith. You can also take infinite turns to build up Jace, the Mind Sculptor, but typically the words 'infinite turns' are enough to cause the table to scoop with a groan and the occasional hail-storm of tossed snack food, so there's that. Alternatively, you can use Tezz's March of the Machines effect to smash faces once you've hijacked everything threatening with your Robot Overlord.
I haven't done as much testing with this version as I have with Bosh, but what I have done shows promise. The Commander is a great rattlesnake, keeping people off of playing their biggest bombs until they feel they can adequately protect them, which gives you lots of time to build up your board towards inevitability. I'm looking forward to playing it more.
I'm posting this mainly just to have a semi-permanent record of the deck, as well as a potential sounding board for when new sets come out and I look to upgrade, not because I'm specifically wanting to make any changes at the moment. That said, critiques and suggestions are always appreciated. Thanks for checking it out.
