Tidespout Tyrant + Sol Ring + Any Zero Costing Artifact = Makes Infinate Mana by having out Tidespout and Sol ring and a Zero costing Artifact in hand. Tap the Ring for mana then play your Zero Costing Artifact bouncing the ring then play it using the mana floating. Rinse and Repeat. Keep in mind this will only net you Colorless mana.
Filigree Sages + Doubling Cube = As long as you have more than seven mana you will go infinite by using Sages to untap your cube to rinse and repeat. Mindslaver + Academy Ruins = You can control one players turn for as long as you wish. With this being a Multi-Player oriented deck I have yet ben able to get this combo off.
Power Sink - A personal Fav of mine and with enough mana you can basicaly Time Walk a player!
Rewind - Another basic free Counterspell as long as you have four mana
Scattering Stroke - I am still on the fence about this sue-do mana drain but I like the clash as long as I think of it as a mini Scry effect. But this may come out.
Nin-Fun!
Well-Laid Plans - This card is such a golden find it allows you to pull some great blocks with your cards as well ad hit your own stuff and not lose it. And because it only cares about colored permanents your important things like stuffy will still take dmg.
Stuffy Doll - This is Nin's little Teddy Bear! Choose an opponent and go to town!
Psychosis Crawler - This is Nin's other fav toy, but this one will draw you hate very fast so you have been warned.
Magebane Armor - This is another great way for Nin to protect herself when she decides to stick herself not to mention it allows for her to jump your Molten Disaster all day!
Why so many Basics?
I have decided to run some of reds best hate in Ruination, Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon. I have not had a problem with color yet but I have plenty of ramp and draw to get what I need.
Another great thing about running more basic's than most EDH decks is I can run cards like Foil and also not have to worry about non basic land destruction.
Lastly I would like to say I want to make this deck very multiplayer competitive but I would like to stay away from the kiki-jiki and splinter combos. The combos I have included are a lil more surprise like and may kill one player but will hardly kill everyone at the table. So looking for Competitive but fun play.
