So I made this deck about a year ago with the idea of either swarming over people with an army of soldiers tokens or a couple of big creatures that can quickly recover from wrath effects. Any advice is always appreciated:
couple of small combos the deck can pull of is having either Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant or Suture Priest and having Darien, King of Kjeldor which basically makes me invincible unless I can either be dealt enough damage to kill me in one hit or through general damage. the pain lands are in there to basically help me pump out tokens for when Darian is out as well
I run a Darien deck that works extremely well in my meta. I've found that utilizing things to damage yourself, especially at no cost, is extremely useful since you can just pile on the soldiers. You already have some of the best (the painlands are amazing for this) but I would consider stuff like Jinxed Idol, Mana Vault, Acorn Catapult, Ankh of Mishra, Jade Monolith, etc as they all increase your creature generation significantly.
You already have Land Tax so you should consider adding its utterly-busted combo partner Scroll Rack.
The last thing I would say is that the key to playing Darien is getting your general out ASAP, as competent players will figure out how your deck works and realize that they need to deal as much damage as possible to you before you play him. If you get knocked to 20 or less before your general is in play you have very little room to build an army, so I would suggest adding more mana ramp to increase your turn 2-4 drops and increase the likelihood of dropping Darien on turn 3 or 4 instead of 6. (My deck runs like 10 mana rocks but I have found that I wear the target hat in my meta - this might be more than you require)
Hope that helps somewhat. Darien is one of my absolute favorite generals and this seems like a fun build.
Yea the Militia's Pride and Mobilization where both originally in the deck but I found them to be lackluster as I would rather play something else that gets me lots of tokens for only a little more mana that and every time i did seem to play it i was usually tapping out to play other stuff. I really like the idea of Slate of Ancestry ill see if i can pick one up, I used to run scroll rack but when it was in the deck I found that I would only draw one of the combo pieces and since i had no way of tutoring for other i found it to be useless (I dunno I was probably playing it wrong in the first place).
Iv always considered putting in Benalish commander ever since I put the deck together I just never got around to getting one of him. I also really like the Deftblade Elite and Gustcloak Savior. I used to run the Preeminent Captain but i found that quite of few of the soldiers I had in my hand at the time of swinging with him where Soldiers that I wanted to keep around and not attack with eg: Loyal Sentry[c/], Intrepid Hero, Field Marshal, Daru Warchief[/c] and Catapult Master. I will usually win by either swinging with a lot of tokens that Im not afraid of losing that have been pumped up by other cards in the deck .
I also like the idea of the Contested Warzone will be getting that Asap

I will be typing up deck lists as soon as I an be bothered, I really only play EDH:
Sweet deck. (Zomg I'm not the only person who loves World Queller! Thank God.) I only have a few suggestions.
1) Goldmeadow Harrier --> Martyr of Sands? I know Goldmeadow Harrier is a soldier and all, but Martyr gains you a lot of life. Especially with Sun Titan. (Also Martyr is just a pet card.)
2) Conqueror's Pledge? Seems like it would be awesome. I don't know how reliable Nomad's Assembly is for token production, but if it's iffy at all you might consider cutting it for Pledge. Or just adding Pledge anyway.
3) Martyr's Cause--maybe it's just because I haven't seen it in action, but it seems a bit lackluster. Except against voltron generals. LOL at that.
4) Not a big fan of Coat of Arms, it seems sort of risky. Maybe cut it in favor of some cheap utility (Remember the Fallen!) or for Honor of the Pure, since you're having to cut that. However, if you like trading risk for explosive wins then by all means keep Coat of Arms. Because it really is sort of ridiculous.
5) I also feel like Hallowed Burial and/or Crib Swap might have a spot, if you can find room.
6) I know it's probably a don't have issue more than anything, but I feel like Sword of Light and Shadow could make a much better contribution to this deck than Jitte.
First things first World Queller is one of my fav cards in this deck especially when I have some tokens that I can sac to him.
1. Gotta say im not really in love with Martyr of Sands I tend to try and play very secretively and I dont like it when I have to reveal cards from my had and I usually dont have that much trouble with life gain in the deck
2. I have been toying with Conqueror's Pledge for a while now i was in the first build of the deck but for some reason it always seemed lack luster i may put it back in and give it another shot since it can be kicked for lots of fun.
3. I just recently discovered Martyr's Cause for myself and I have yet to play with it buts its ability to hit creatures with shroud is so key not only with stopping unblockable generals and shrouded ones but it can stop thing like Inkwell Leviathan and other such fatties. That and I love the flavor text to it
4. Coat of Arms has won me a lot of games I dont tend to drop it until i have like 10 or more soldier tokens out and then I just alpha strike. I also got a hold of a 7th edition Coat of Arms which is awesome art for the deck (In case you havent noticed by now but Im kinda big on flavor when it comes to my EDH decks
5. Crib Swap is awesome btw will probably try and squeeze it in the deck when I get a hold of one
6. I like your idea of putting Sword of Light and Shadow in the deck, I was lucky that I had a sword in my Thada Adel deck and just switched the two and the more I think about it now the more im liking the idea of having the Jitte in that deck and the sword in this deck.
Thanks for the advice and comments

Some soldiers you might consider adding: Preeminent Captain, Ballyrush Banneret, Ajani's Pridemate, Benalish commander, Deftblade Elite, Enlistment Officer, Gideon's Avenger, Gustcloak Savior, Jotun Grunt, Kor Hookmaster, Loxodon Gatekeeper. Depends on what direction you want your army to go. It's possible to build Darien as a ETB/LTB-effect engine using things like Stormfront Riders to bounce ETB soldiers such as the Hookmaster and repeat those abilities, it's possible to run a lot of control elements and back them up with your tokens, lots of options.
I would definitely run Militia's Pride and Mobilization as they allow you to make soldiers when your general is tucked.
Add in Slate of Ancestry and watch your white weenie deck out-draw your mono-blue opponents.
Consider adding more battlecry with Signal Pest and Contested War Zone.
You already have Land Tax so you should consider adding its utterly-busted combo partner Scroll Rack.
