Alright, this deck has morphed, or amorphed (<--- BAD slime pun) several times since its inception when the Commander decks were released. I finally landed on the current list and am working on the remaining cards to power it up a bit. I'm going for a utility and minor reanimator theme. I know most of you will think I should run combo and counter magic, but I prefer not to go that route, and it makes my playgroup allow me to stick around and see how the deck performs. that being said, I'm wanting to make sure I haven't forgotten anything obvious. Or if compeling arguements are made for cards I've cut in the past, I'll try to work them back in.
Phyrexian Ingester is not too hot. You will be infinitely more happy running a faster targeted removal or just simple a Phantasmal Image.
I also wonder, where is Necropotence or Phyrexian Arena? Necro single handily wins games all on its lonesome and the arena is just sweet card advantage every turn that piles up.
I would also add in the 3 signets. They serve as both ramp and color fixing in a nice little package.
And I would be a bit wary on running the whole fill my graveyard hard core strategy without something like witchbane orb or voidslime. Other wise, Bojuka Bog is going to rock you.
Honest, I prefer a less general centric approach to the mimeoplasm. And if you are willing to run tooth and nail and dont mind an alt-win condition, there is always the option of adding palinchron and something like the lich lord of unx. You are already running e. witness and vorinclex, so why not :).
Thanks for the ideas, 42. I've always been on the fence with Signets, as I prefer land fetch spells. I could change a few things and simply add them in. I wouldn't be opposed to trying that while weeding out some of the animation pieces. As for Tooth and Nail, I just haven't been able to trade for one, yet. And I've tried Necro and Arena in here originally and didn't like them. But, like I said earlier, I'd be willing to give them a second chance if removing the graveyard heavy cards.

Search for Tomorrow: Seems really sorta ehhh? When BUG needs something, BUG goes and gets it and casts it and gets awesome value out of it. This is really sort of a sad trombone.
Wonder: While I appreciate the spirit of "I have something in my graveyard and it's generating value", I think the price is wrong here.
Moonlight Bargain: I think the cmc is a little high, but it's a very interesting draw/dump spell and seem a good fit for Mimeo. I'd have to play it to see if I start to like drawing into it. Although sorta tech and potentially a "fun suprise" spell, I suspect that after the novelty wears off I might want something else.
Any spell you'd suggest in place of Search? I agree with you on Wonder. But I would say to try Moonlight Bargain. I'm never sad to see it, and it can generate advantage on many levels. Plus it's quite intimidating when you elect to pay ten life for the full five.

Personally, I think you have sufficient ramp, but if you really want more I would consider Journey of Discovery or maybe Sylvan Scrying.
And this is just a very small observation; you have some good lands, that is, except for Bad River and Rupture Spire. For the sake of tempo I would run any of the following over those two: City of Brass Yavimaya Coast Underground River Llanowar Wastes
With Moonlight, 5 mana and 10 life for 5 cards seems pretty ouch, but the option to dump into the bin is very compelling. I'll give it a try.
First of all, it's a nice flyer thats practically impossible to kill. But more to the point: Drop it when you have 7 mana, EOT or response to kill spell, shuffle it in, mill out half your deck, then drop mimeoplasm with lots of fodder to choose from. Happy times
Why not try Mesmeric Orb. It's a great, cheap way to fill your yard. It also will keep your yard up after some hate hits you. Though, if your meta is full of other yard based decks, I don't think I would run it.

I think going the all-in plan for the Mimeo is a really rough way to build him. If it were not for the single card bojuka bog this would be a viable strategy. Its just so frustrating to have your entire strat nuked by a common land.
Personally, I would go the safe route: BUG goodstuff with the mimeo as a utility commander rather than the win condition himself.
As for necropotence... you sound like my friend. You just need someone to roflpwn you a few times to see how devastating a resolved necropotence can be.

I've never seen a deck that doesn't have SOME way to recur from the graveyard, it as an effect is just too strong. I think that's a risk not worth taking. Hedron crab is a viable self-mill alternative, however. I'm testing it out.
I would still add hermit druid whether your doing anything broken or not. He's just good mana smoothing.
Also a star in mine is Big Game Hunter. Solid removal, and with Mimeo, Sheoldred, Genesis, and your recur package, he's pretty reusable. People will hold off of you sometimes just so you can't block with him and recur him again next turn.
Thanks so much for the posts! I'll be trying to make some changes this week and will update. Having other people's perspective on the build makes this a lot more fun than rolling the same questions around in my head.

ENTOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For real that should be one of the first cards you put it, it lets you do a t2 Jin, its also a lot easier to get ($$) with the premium deck being out. I'd drop Avatar of Woe for Rune-Scarred too.
Phantasmal Image is a 2CMC "destroy a general" at its worst. At it's best, its a demonic tutor on a 6/6 flyer, or a fact or fiction on a 5/6 flyer, or more.
If you run 20+ basics, fetchlands or shocklands, then the Innistrad duals are nearly original duals.

Consecrated Sphinx is a top-ten EDH creature.
Counterspell is an out to many cards, and both Spell Crumple and Hinder have additional merit in EDH.
Propaganda is a Moat against non-Voltron decks, and only gains value when more people play.
Bojuka Bog is a nice out to opposing graveyard strategies, as is Nihil Spellbomb.
Trinket Mage tutors for Sol Ring and Nihil Spellbomb. And Sensei's Divining Top excels with ample shuffle effects.
Grave Titan and Avenger of Zendikar are armies in a card.
Shriekmaw and Mulldrifter are valuable, and the synergy between evoke and The Mimeoplasm is special.
