Because we are talking about MnoGreen here...
I can't say I have animated my lands with it EVER. What I like about it is that it untaps all of my lands and not just basics like Early Harvest. With a single mana doubler and 5 lands you get 15 mana which is is really the least you would do with the card. Put a Cradle in there and it hits 20+ almost every time. Obviously there are limitations, but it enables alpha strikes as well as anything else Monogreen has.
Unless someone has a counterspell or mutiple instant speed tricks
See, I love when I use Boseiju to cast it, untap Boseiju, and tap Boseiju to cast Genesis Wave for 20+. I'm pretty sure that move has won me a few games.
At best it's GG. Though it would suck to cast it, have all ure army of tree-ents instant-wrathed by Rout or even bounced by Evacuation, as mentioned above. At least with Kamahl, you get a deterrent from mass-removal.

To simplify, it takes you from huge mana to "OH ----" mana :D. I'm not sure I've slotted mine in yet, but I'm mentally rethinking the deck so...
I hate animating lands just because i think there will always be that mini-nuke in someones hand (eg firespout or pyroclasm)
Those are both sorcery speed spells; there are only a handful of instant speed boardwipes that will hit these animated lands. The only ones I can think off the top of my head are Consume the Meek, Rout, Volcanic Fallout, etc. It does, however, turn your Gaea's Cradle or Cabal Coffers into a target for spot removal. I really like this card though, as possible mana boosting or even wincon with enough ramp.

I know its sorcery speed, but usually the end result of a alpha strike on one guy is usually a wrath from everyone else, and the meta here is heavily white/red based (most are packing WUR,RUG,bant), so i have my reasons :D.

Yeah, but I'm saying wraths don't work against Rude Awakening because it animates the lands until end of turn, even after you knock someone out by swinging with your lands. That's why it's nice to be able to alpha strike with this card and not fear the wrath

I have never once seen route played by anyone in my group so I'm not too worried about it. I would be more worried about a cycled decree of pain but I will just have to be careful or save enough mana to pump my guys in response with Kamahl.
You've never seen Rout?
Clearly you haven't been facing white in your meta.
Its de-facto white insta wipe.
Clearly you don't know what you're talking about. I've faced plenty of white and no offense but rout is garbage compared to things like austere command or hallowed burial. I've seen the card. It's a overpriced instant speed wipe.
I'm saying a normal "wrath", as it is named after "Wrath of God", is sorcery speed, which wouldn't hit the reanimated lands. Really, if you know your opponent plays Rout and you see 7 mana open, then simply don't animate your lands.
What I'm saying is: Rude Awakening avoids most commonly-used boardwipes in EDH: Wrath of God, Day of Judgement, Austere Command, Hallowed Burial, Damnation, etc. These are almost all sorcery speed. Rude Awakening can win you the game by: increasing your mana significantly or swinging in with an army of 2/2s. You can even just use it as a tempo boost to get you in a better board position. It is versatile and relatively low risk for its effect.

Instant speed wipe is garbage?
You should Oracle up all the instant speed wipe cards.
Don't think you'll find many.
You pointed out cards that are sorcery speed modular wipe and tuck wipe.
We are also talking about EDH where usually mana isn't a problem.
Plus you lock down instant speed combos involving creatures.
It also tanks down regen trolls.
Not sure how overpriced comes into the picture, when you can flash boardwipe

I don't always play Magic, but when I do, I play Vintage.
The reason I say that is the majority of the time it won't matter if you cast a wrath at instant speed. Yes it can stop some things but I would much rather be able to stop stuff sooner by paying less mana. Now if you're going to pay 3WW I want to hit generals too or just stop the creatures from being recurred like I get with hallowed burial. If I'm paying 5WWI want to do more than just kill creatures. At that cmc we're getting into the realm of austere command, oblivion stone and all is dust etc.
This is silly. Nutter - if you see instant speed board wipes in your meta, then you don't animate the lands. If you have never seen it, then you can. To the rest of you that do - don't animate the lands.
The idea that your own personal EDH experience is universally transferable is odd. I know that I love the hell out of this card, but I would NEVER animate lands because we all see a lot of spells and effects that would murder my lands... and yet I have never seen Rout in the last 3 years.
When you cast Rude Awakening entwined. Do the 2/2 creatures have summoning sickness ?
The rule says : A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature is subject to the "summoning sickness" rule: It can only attack, and its {T} abilities can only be activated, if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of his or her most recent turn.

The permanent is the land. It's been in play since the beginning of your most recent turn. Therefore, the 2/2's do not have summoning sickness.
Do a lot of you guys use it? I know it can sorta double your mana but is it a solid KO punch as well?
I'm thinking of taking out beacon of creation for it because it can double my mana as well as possibly attack with my lands in a pinch.
Good idea?

At worst it could draw out a counterspell, seeing as Boseiju is the most strip mined land anyone ever hits in my group (besides maze of ith).

Declare Attackers.
Opponent plays Rout.
