So a guy at one of my play groups brought a Chorus of the Conclave deck. I really, really love that guy. and by "that guy" i mean "his hilarious decks". While he didnt win the 5- or 6-man game we played, that deck had a few "WTF" moments. While his general just struck me as overcosted 'meh' as he revealed and dropped it, the entire table blinked a few times when there was an 8/8 Glistener Elf the next turn before laughing our asses off.
I remembered about the general a few nights ago, and this morning threw together a brief decklist, and played 2 games with it on Cockatrice. More on that after the list:
Gameplan: This is supposed to be a rather usual rampy deck. However, unlike most ramp decks, which require epic wincons and/or token producers, you wont find many here because ... we don't need any! This deck wants (in theory) to run as many creature-versions of spells as it can because with the mana, the General turns all of your utility dorks INTO your wincons! Ever swung with a 4/4 Sakura-Tribe Elder? 9/9 Acidic Slime? 20/22 Ondu Giant? in the late game, with possible mana doublers, this deck has dropped a 41-power terastodon, and then a 70-power Molimo , after re-casting Chorus after its 5th death.
However, in both games, the deck stalled after having copious amounts of mana on the board, mainly due to drawing into ramp when I needed a dork. This is the first rampy deck i've ever built, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out a bit with the card choices.
For the spells, I tried to use just the ones that drop the lands into play directly, and not just clog up the hand (since most of the time, i can only drop 1 land a turn anyway).
What has also been an issue is the lack of evasion on the dorks. I added Brawn as an afterthought this afternoon, and as I'm writing this I'm thinking of Pilgrim's Eye and Bellowing Tanglewurm, but not sure how/what to pull out.
Last-minute edits:
I've only played two games, so i've yet to actually draw and play many of these cards. If something seems irrelevant, like Beastmaster Ascension the more I look at it, then by all means, feel free to (and please do!) point it out or better yet - suggest something to replace it ;D
Thoughts, comments, suggestions, lols? Come at me bro.

Realized a lot of my dudes are rather vanilla-y when they hit, so decided to start looking for more utility dudes with evasion. Pilgrim's Eye ramps, Visionary hits enchants and is effectively unblockable. Tanglewurm provides pretty much everything with evasion, and goes without saying he can get rather large as well.
Seems like a strict upgrade. Size matters little with the general, and 1 less mana means I get to play it a turn sooner at the beginning, when speed and ramp is more needed than later.
Seems a bit redundant with this deck, as A) if im putting massive mana into dudes anyway, then another 5 would be irrelevant - if there are beats, there are A LOT of beats regardless, and B) since this deck focuses on a few very large beaters as opposed to many small ones, this one takes a while to go off.
Testing out Aura Mutation, might take it out for a Disenchant-ish that hits both artifacts AND enchants. Momentous Fall provides more draw. Debt of Loyalty never got a chance to use, but seems fun. Might come back one day as I get more experience with the deck and polish it some more.
Ran into consistency issues (drawing lands/ramp when needed dudes) - cut Journey of Discovery (only fetches to hand unless I pay 6, and then it's only two lands) and Farseek (as a restricted Rampant Growth since I don't run ABU/Rav duals). Also cut some lands and put in more creatures to try and increase threat density (because remember, technically EVERYTHING can be a threat with enough mana
Any more suggestions/thoughts?

+Brooding Saurian
Faced down a lot of theft and had little to do about it (namely a Keiga deck).
+Mycoloth
Seems good with all the counters.

Seems like a strict upgrade. Size matters little with the general, and 1 less mana means I get to play it a turn sooner at the beginning, when speed and ramp is more needed than later.
-Frontier Guide
Cut due to large investment and lack of reason to pump due to tap ability
+Greater Good
Needed a draw engine - with the sheer size of the dudes, it draws quite a bunch.
-Beastmaster Ascension
