It is a budget deck, but it works. If the Mage is taken out of the Deck, you can Footsteps the Wayfinder and just buff them. If Footsteps is taken out, the Magemarks will make up for it, though with a few well-placed counters, you should be able to get the Mage out early and crank out tokens that call up Magemarks and eventually just swarm ftw.
Just what I did with the Mage, figured I would share.
Wow. Steampunk, I like that, TO MWS! QUICK GET THE BATMOBILE!

You should look at his deck, and see how he expanded into 4 colors, through the magic of dual lands. I know youre budget though, so with FF, which is a cheap rare, you could expand just into 3 color.
Origionally the deck was 3 colours, using Pillory of the Sleepless, and other orzhov cards. I found that I never got the right mana, even with using the wayfinder and farseek. I might consider it again, as it probably is the best fit for the deck, but I really like the idea of Thran Golem.
Yes, thran golem is tech in aura deck. Sometimes in can break your neck. [/rhyme]
The problem with using pillory is that if you put in out auratouched, it bad, also farseek is best used with the duals and not basics, and instead of Seles, though he is good, try STEve. he can chump and fetch basics. Ideally you could use BoPs but you're budget.
Sorta off topic but you should check eBay they have el cheapo cards... also is my font too big?
Font too big? Anyways...It's amazing I picked up 2 Bop over the weekend, one from a younger player, whoes parents had too much money, and another from a desperate friend..Heh. The Elders are a definate if I push to tri colour, but other wise, with the additions I've been thinking of, I might have to cut more than I want.
If youre running bramble elemental and pacifism, it might be a good idea to use cage of hands instead, in a stand off you can just play the cage and return it to get 2 tokens.
I have a little trouble with weenies, but never found it to last too long. Either I get FF on the Wayfinder/Mage/BoP and can block after turn 3-4 depending. Turn 1 Kird Apes may hurt, but suck up the damage and know that you can come from behind. In most of my wins, I come back from 7-10 life ftw. Anyhow, my point was going to be that the Elder is a bit unwieldy in this deck. I much prefer Farseek in my deck, as it calls up the shocklands.
I also agree with Cage of Hands. Also, try Flickerform if you can. That on a Bramble is fun fun fun! If you have room, Boomerang/Drake are another fun way to up the Bramble's power from recurring enchantments.

Thats a lot of mana in 1 turn just to get 2 tokens. I think its a waste.

Coming from behind in this deck is pretty easy, as it does have nice lifegain, with the fetters and Mourning Thrulls with Moldervine cloaks. I really haven't had any problems with mana at this point, with 2 colours, but if I plan on running 3, I probably will use the elders, as I can't really afford the shock lands. Flickerform could be an option, with both Bramble elemental and Auratouched mage, however I feel that I will cut the lone auartouched and a possible 1 or 2 brambles for Thran Golems as they really are at home in this deck.
