Fog Bank
Why doesn't fog bank prevent trample damage? I would assume since all combat damage is nullified by fog bank that there would be no damage left to trample over. I know I am wrong but just can't figure out why this is.

because trample damage isn't all dealt to Fog Bank. Trample figures out how much damage is lethal to Fog Bank, then deals that much to the wall and the rest to you. It doesn't count prevention effects, indestructibility or that kind of thing into the lethal damage calculation. 2 damage on Fog Bank is lethal. The rest goes to you.
