[EDH] Yeva - "Where'd all those bears come from?"

Inspired by this comic and some friends:


I've decided to make a mono-green deck based solely on running bears and wolves. I did add some cards to make the deck a little bit better (and honestly borderline playable), but most of it is on theme. I also petitioned my playgroup to allow me to play Garruk Relentless just because he makes 2/2 Wolf Tokens . Any input would be appreciated, especially from people who enjoy bears.... and wolves. Bear with me, but how do you not have Grizzly Fate?

Words of Wilding was a card I always wanted to build a bear deck around (works better with a normal deck with 4 Striped Bears), with Muraganda Petroglyphs (which is another good card to include if you have a lot of vanilla creatures or tokens).

Caller of the Claw is sort of like Yeva's predecessor. Green card with flash that makes bears.

Wild Pair, except you'd have to alter the title to Wild Bear.

This would be a fun deck for Primal Surge because of all the bears hitting the battlefield.

Updated the list based on everything that I ordered.

+ Primal Surge / - Glimpse of Nature
This was more of a monetary change than a functional one. I think Primal Surge can still be good and $15 cheaper.

+ Timberpack Wolf / - Wyluli Wolf
This change is an availability change. I have the Timberpack wolf and no one seemed to have the Wyluli Wolf lol.

+ Grizzly Fate / - Wolf Pack
Sooooo... Wolf Pack is a $60 card. Who knew?
