Seems we're all at odds. I want to lynch Wuffles. The other Neutrals want to shutdown. AE wants to lynch me. Wuffs and IB are nowhere to be found. There can't be a shutdown unless one of the members of the town is willing to make the whole town lose as long as Wuffs is not voting to shutdown. Even if IB wants to lynch me and Eron is okay with shutting down, then I can't be lynched unless a Neutral or two are willing to change their mind and there can be no shutdown.
So.
Let's lynch Wuffles because the only way everyone is going to get what they want is if we do it my way.

Also, to clarify vote proxying, which is an old-school thing that seems to have fallen out of favor:
At any time, you may post Proxy Vote to Xyre (the person you want to proxy the vote to). That person gains control of your vote until you "unproxy it", or just vote with it yourself. When a vote is proxied, it is unvoted, unless you have multiple votes, in which case a vote not placed will be proxied instead.
Proxied votes will be placed under the name of their original owner for my sake.
Here are the proxy rules per Xyre.
I think that Shutdown is a viable option and I appear to be the abstainer at this point. Unless someone has a clear path to victory it seems like the smart thing to do.
Iso appears to be attempting to wrangle cats here. I'd also like to hear from IB.

That was a ***** move, and if it's real I expect you just hung yourself. No one is going to believe you are not the SK when you've constantly lied and had to claim a fake roleblock to live this far.
Also, Eron is an asshat for not winning the game for himself.
That was seriously unsportsmanlike, if you're the SK. Burying your own grave at the benefit of one other player not winning, despite being on the doorstep and cooperating with us (my cult, which you are a part of) every step of the way.
I'll wait to see if this is real. Eron, feel free to come pseudo-hammer the shutdown, just in case it's not.
This is my declaring that I am doing nothing toDay besides voting Iso, IB (not in my cult) and Shutdown, and if he lives through the day, I am taking all of your votes to lynch him tomorrow.
If the daykill is real, I suggest we lynch Iso, then if the game doesn't end, I'll lynch Wuffles tomorrow. No series of events can take place at this point that causes me to not have enough votes to do this.

Also, the game action that you attempted to perform does not comply with my perceived notion of best practices to execute within this game of forum-based mafia.

Giving the town a chance to win doesn't play against my win condition. My win condition is survive till the end. It doesn't matter when the end is. And if I'm the only neutral to abstain from shutting down then the SK won't want to kill me and the town won't want to lunch me. The rest of the neutrals would have been targeted long before me.
You were making yourself a viable lynch target by going against a survivor's win condition, which is ending the game as soon as possible, as well as a viable NK target, as confirmed neutral, if the game proceeds another day/night cycle.
Yeah, I was gonna try to get you to joint with me, dan. If you unilaterally lynched someone on Day 7 that was not me and I killed IB and Eron on Nights 6 and 7 we could have lynched AE and made it a Cult/SK win, and as far as I'm aware, the only one in MTGS history!
Oh well, GG, all. Sad face that I didn't win, but at least you guys couldn't catch me.

I was pretty legitimately nervous after the mafia was dead, though. But the role seems pretty well-designed for an SK, especially if the votes were set to drop off after a set day/# of players remaining. Good falseclaim, protection, and usefulness to the town.
Wasn't Eron supposed to Unvote before the Shutdown?
Oh well, guess it doesn't matter at this point. I just wanted to dick as many people out of a win as I possibly could since that was the best way to get as close as I could to my own win condition.

If we had lynched Wuffs, would you have considered jointing with me?
iso I was going to try and make a pact with you because they were shuting down. Would have joined you in eliminating the neutrals. Let you win at the end. Couldn't post much this morn.....ran out of time.
Heh. My original plan involved you, me, and dan endgaming but I couldn't make it happen in time. I figured I could generate enough WIFOM to have dan want you dead and you to want dan dead, then when we lynched dan, I would screw everyone out of a win.

The players I felt obligations toward, I helped win. I was jeopardizing the other people I recruited, as well as myself through the PoE, if I actively lengthened the game. And to say I was just completely uninvolved in helping the town win would be a lie. I did what I could until I put myself at legitimate risk, as far as telling the unrecruited literally every aspect of my role. I operated completely above-board at all times.
So no, Iso. E: Once Wuffles was dead, you would be the only person I would even remotely consider lynching.

But I would have screwed you in the end Every kill I get adds one more over the lynch threshold to lynch me. So as it stood today I would have needed 6 to lynch. So coming to end game you wouldn't have been able to lynch me.

I wouldn't of voted. I would have waited for GD to vote me because then you would have placed the vote on me. I would have played on that whinning that I was confirmed town why lynch me? GG SK in hopes that you outed yourself because that was endgame.
Thats why I don't understand why the mafia killed Guardman. They did right? We could have worked together on elimating neutrals that achieved their wincon so a shutdown wouldn't occur.
The remaining seven walk slowly into the room, stepping carefully around Macius's body, and sitting down at a table in the middle of the room. In the corner, Vincent and David, who's reduced to shirtsleeves, are facing away from them, eyes locked on their table, muttering. Two feet protruding from beneath a bloody designer suit jacket.
"What the **** are we doing here," Eron said quietly. His hair was dirty, and his messy clothes were matted in blood. "Why don't we just leave?" He turned to ganderin_dan, Wuffles, and Emo, who slowly nodded.
"But -" Iso began, but they ignored him.
Wuffles stood. "Hey!" he shouted across to Vincent and the man in the Armani suit. The former turns, hand instinctively falling to his belt. "We're leaving. **** your case, and **** you." The other three shouted in support and stood to go.
"What?" Vincent shouted back. As he watched the four move, confusion melted to anger. "Stop! You can't do this! David! Do something!" But the man in the Armani suit's eyes are locked on the table, and he doesn't move. The four ignore Vincent, and turn toward the door.
But Vincent isn't the first to move to stop them. "NO! You shall not leave!" Iso roars. He jumps from his chair, runs up to the four, and pounces on Emo_Pinata, tearing at his clothes and face with his hands. The three others grab him off, and despite his unnatural strength, pin him to the ground. "Get off me, foul beasts!" Iso shouts in vain.
Emo stands up from the ground, shaking slightly. He walks up to the bundle of bodies, and removes a piece of his torn shirt from Iso's clenched hand, which he uses to wipe at the scratches lining his chest. Then, with a tight smile, he pulls his foot back and kicks Iso in the head. Lights go out, and the struggle ceases.
"You can't do this!" Vincent yells again, and removes his gun. Just as quickly, he finds himself with four pointed back. "We tell you when you can leave, and you haven't given us what we want!"
Wuffles smirks. "You seem a little past demands. Especially without the other two... er, one backing you up. Now, I suggest you drop the gun."
Vincent scowls, and throws the gun at Eron, who easily sidesteps it. Emo turns to Archmage Eternal and infectiousbaloth, both of whom look confused, and bows mockingly, and the four turn slowly and step from the room, closing the door quietly behind them. Vincent frowns, and walks back to the other end to grab his gun, but pauses as he walks past the stricken duo. "Maybe you should call the police to get this one," he says, pointing his gun at Iso's prone body. "But first: where's my ****ing case?"
infectiousbaloth coughs. His hands are shaking. "L-l-locker. Two fourteen."
Vincent sighs, looking at him. "Thanks for your help," he says sardonically.
The man in the Armani suit looks up. His eyes are red-rimmed. "You. Was that your son?"
infectiousbaloth looks confused for a moment, then his eyes opened wide. "You're - you're the guy... my son..."
The man in the Armani suit slowly nods. "Tell him I hope the girl's alright." Then without a word, he walked from the room, leaving Vincent, mouth agape, to pick up the pieces.
"So what're you going to do?"
Archmage Eternal frowns, and wipes blood off his hands with a cheap paper towel from the bathroom. "I dunno. You think they're gone? The mafia?"
"Doubt it," infectiousbaloth says quietly, watching the cops drag Iso's unconscious body out of the building. "Maybe they'll be hurt, but they'll be back. Power covets a vacuum."
Archmage tisks slightly. "Well, I guess that's something. Gives a man a purpose." He pulls his jacket a bit tighter. "Fight the good fight, right?"
infectiousbaloth sighs. "I don't think I can do that. My... it's not safe here, for my family. This place just isn't right anymore."
Archmage looks away, frowning. A low, guttural sound falls from his mouth. "You saw them put him in the car, right?"
"Who?"
"That guy. The guy they kicked. He's..."
And he points, and infectiousbaloth turns and watches, dumbfounded, as the cops drive away in a car with an empty backseat.
He snapped awake, and she sits there. Wearing a serene smile and a robe. No blood or scars or sign at all. "How are you feeling?" she asks, placing a hand on the ridge of his legs, covered by the sheets.
For a moment, he forgets, and he moves to touch her face. "Hey..." he says. She leans into his hand, eyes peering into his, and he feels a heat in his body rise, and...
His fingers are wet. He pulls his hand back, quickly, and her head falls forward in the void it leaves, and a drop of blood falls on the white sheets. Blood on his fingers. He remembers. "You..."
The smile fractures. A distant sadness. "I'm so sorry, David. I saw you shoot that guy, and I... I've never seen that before, and I mean Vincent told me what you do, but..." A small red tear in her eye. "I didn't want to believe it."
The heat rises through him, to behind his face, and he puts a hand over his eyes to push it back. "I know, Kasey. I know." He reaches out to her shoulder to touch her again, to tell her it's okay... and the red lines appear across her face, across her bare neck and skin, and she reaches out to him and as he looks her in the eyes she collapses on him, weight and blood, and he lifts his arms from the sheet to take her in his arms, but feels nothing. He lifts himself up to sitting. His sheets are woven in bloody lines.
Sigma stands above you, shaking his head. "I wish I had told you, David. I wish he had told you, that night you left us there, at that bar. You ran, and you should have kept running." His Irish brogue is darker than ever, and he coughs. "Someone should have told you. You can't just follow the path."
"The path?" he asks. But Sigma shakes his head, and points at a form at the other end of the bed.
His father sits there, facing away from him. An IV drip stand at his side. "I'm sorry, David. I never told you that. I made mistakes for you, and I never wished you to make them yourself, but I never told you how sorry I was."
"You... Dad... can you look at me?" he pleads, slightly. Tears pushing free from his eyes.
Alpha stands, shaky, and turns to look at him, but his face isn't there. The wrinkles, yes, but the face there... it has the recesses, mouth and nose and eyes, but they're empty, swallowed up by the skin. He points his face at his son's, and in David's mind, he feels the word's appear...
And he awakens from his nightmare, his dream, and the sun is gone again. Two fifteen. Christmas day, almost.
He steps from the bed gingerly. His legs are swelling, with pain whipping out from his feet, telling him to rest, but he walks out of the room, past her dark door, down the stairs to where Vincent has collapsed on the couch, snoring. And past him, to the table in the unused kitchen, where in the dim light of one bare hanging bulb lies the case on its side.
To unmake time, unwind the past. To keep from going to Techra, from killing all those people. To keep her from joining what she thought was a press outfit. To keep the bullet from hitting Sigma. To refuse this call and leave this life, and venture out into the dark American desert to live free.
He leans down, and gently unlatches the case. The humming within seems to increase, the machine itself anticipating its release. Sucking in the still air, the man in the Armani suit reaches down and lifts the lid. Inside, an array of monitors and buttons speak to him, whispering commands, and he looks away for one moment. And she is beside him, and she smiles, a full red smile, and takes his hand in hers, and he reaches inside the case and presses a large dark red button.
To unmake...
And the world changed.
The game has been shut down.
Wuffles_II, ganderin_dan, EronTheRelentless, and Emo_Pinata have completed their AWCs and won Ozone Underground.
(I haven't finished all the flavor. Obviously, running the game before writing everything was stupid. I'll be slamming out some flavor all evening to try to give you all something to see, but I don't want to leave everyone in the lurch about the setup.)
I'll add some more comments and open up the groups soon.

Good game all. How did you come up with the guess the neutrals win con Iso?
And it worked.
I think I've never gambitted as hard as I have as I did in this game.
Like, damn.

This I'll remember.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
Could have been two groups.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
Not a victory for town
They hate us cause they ain't us.
If we had lynched Wuffs, would you have considered jointing with me?

Piss poor.
It was evident iso was the SK today(RL) there was no need for a shutdown.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
But that's what I'm saying...we would have lynched dan. You and I would have been the last alive.
So I would have won.
Yeah, I unfortunately backed myself into a corner.

I wouldn't of voted. I would have waited for GD to vote me because then you would have placed the vote on me. I would have played on that whinning that I was confirmed town why lynch me? GG SK in hopes that you outed yourself because that was endgame.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
And they still screwed town over. Good to know.....I've got my list.;)
They hate us cause they ain't us.

Setup can be found here (with mod notes, plot twists, and the mod's "role PM"): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zq0hvrhzMNxooDw0_thKVjriO7oaJ2cH5DHQl_EsH0A/edit
(I haven't finished all the flavor. Obviously, running the game before writing everything was stupid. I'll be slamming out some flavor all evening to try to give you all something to see, but I don't want to leave everyone in the lurch about the setup.)
I'll add some more comments and open up the groups soon.
