Tell me about Magus of the Library... I have a copy that I haven't put in a deck yet because it seems like work to get it to work. Have you used it before to good effect?
Interesting to see Sword of Vengeance in a monogreen deck. Looks like you want to make sure your creatures will be hasty. Vengeance is an underplayed sword that I love in my Jor Kadeen deck. It adds a pretty incredible benefit for a 3 mana equip.

I actually haven't drawn Magus yet. This is a new deck, as you might have guessed by the general, and he's a fairly recent addition. I have high hopes. Seems solid early as combination mana dork/card draw, and I'm willing to give up a slot or two in the late game (when tutors and such should be shouldering most of the load) for a little bit of explosive potential. I also draw quite a bit with this deck once it gets going, so discarding down to 7 eot isn't terribly uncommon.
Sword has been really solid. The cost isn't nearly as painful when ramping like mad and turning Yeva/other creatures into green Akromas has been wonderful.

@Magus of the Library: I probably wouldn't run it unless I really wanted to go overboard on draw power. They've printed a lot more green draw spells lately that seem to be more consistent at filling your hand. I might try a Drumhunter instead.
On the other hand, green is also pretty good at digging things up, and all the mono-green players in my area are fairly adept at digging up + casting Rofellos on turn 2 or 3, so if you think you can do that, maybe he's not so bad.
I've had good luck with the green Praetor instead of mana reflection, I also like Kamahl fist of krosa over spell pumps, since it's a reusable mana sink that discourages wraths ("oh, you play wrath of god? In response all your lands are dudes"). I like argothian elder for ramp because it gets better late game with doubling effects. Also, a single Leige of the Tangle top deck post-wrath has singlehandedly won me a five player game in two turns. Praetor's counsel has done similarly. And Patron of the Orochi can act as a second copy of Seedborn Muse.
My deck is more mono green ramp and less elf-ey than yours though, so take that as you will.
On Magus v. Drumhunter: I'm still not sure how I feel about Magus, because I haven't seen it. I know I wouldn't run Drumhunter with the current number of 5+ power guys in the deck, because it would rarely be on. 2 cmc vs. 4 cmc is also a very real consideration. Triumph of Ferocity is a much more likely candidate at the moment. If I eventually shift to a more power-heavy build, Kavu Lair would also get some serious consideration.
On Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger: He's stronger than Mana Reflection, but I rarely see him last longer than an untap step or two around here. I'm willing to play something less objectively powerful in exchange for political currency here, because I already have a number of mana doublers. As with many other options, horribly expensive.
On Kamahl, Fist of Krosa: Maybe. I'm not doing a whole lot of overrunning here and the deck isn't especially swarmy. I've won more games off of single creatures holding equipment or a couple solid beaters than I have hitting people with dorks. He also requires me to spend most of my mana on my own turn to have a big effect, which I'm not a big fan of.
On Argothian Elder: I have few (3) relevant non-mana tap effects, no lands that tap for more than one without support, and he's hugely expensive for a mana dork. If I can stick one or more mana doublers, I'm already in good shape. I also don't like mana dorks in this style of deck - I'd much rather fetch out more lands.
On Liege of the Tangle: I will not play anything that gets my lands wrathed, especially if they have to survive a full turn cycle to have any real effect. Also horribly expensive. There are cheaper and less risky ways to make an army.
On Praetor's Counsel: Expensive and I have to pay for it on my turn. Only situationally relevant, especially with the amount of GY hate in my meta.
On Patron of the Orochi: Definitely a possibility. I'm not sure I need more of this effect, because it mostly just leads to overextending. I also don't like that it needs to tap with only a few haste sources and it's horribly expensive, but at least it's a creature.
On Genesis Wave and Tooth and Nail: Horribly expensive, must be played on my turn, no synergy with the rest of the deck. Tooth and Nail targets are average at best, Genesis Wave forces me to use answers when I play it rather than allowing for tricks. I have no desire to include either of these in this deck.

I'm going to try out Magus in my green deck, might as well, and I really like the art.
