MTG Salvation

Just posted the list up to link the deck to my sig. This out of all my decks is one I just don't feel can really be improved on much. It is very consistent and goes lethal rather well. While I have some tech that has specific synergy to Maga, Traitor to Mortals I do on occasion play Geth, Lord of the Vault or Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief. Really, we all know Cabal Coffers is the real commander of the deck.

What do you think about the new Liliana of the Dark Realms?

It seems like it could work well as part of the "Look-How-Much-Black-Mana-I-Have" package.

^^I would put one of those in my mono black if I had one.

I also have Solemn Simulacrum for card advantage and more swamp. I like Promise of Power for more card draw and a big creature. I can't tell you what to take out; I don't own some cards such as Tawnos' Coffin - it saw play back in the day but i couldn't comment on how it plays in commander.

I can see why you played Eyeblight's Ending but it should be Murder now.

Rings of Brighthearth could be good too, unless you don't want any infinite combos in here.

Just waiting for a price drop on the new Liliana really. I figured it has a spot but I'd rather not put $20 into something that I wasn't sure would make a big impact.

Murder I'll agree is a slightly better card in here but I just don't have one and I don't need to worry about destroying an elf-creature in my meta.

Also, I'm not a big fan of infinity and would like to avoid it.

Great list. I run a similar list with more enchantments like No Mercy, so I'll be picking up a Spreading Plague when I get the chance. I also run a Snow-Covered Swamp package with Scrying Sheets, which breaks the potential symmetry of Extraplanar Lens. How does your play group feel about Exsanguinate, Sorin Markov, and Necropotence? I had those cards in my deck and it really didn't go over well.

Sorry haven't checked my list in some time. I just don't see enough benefit in spending all that money on snow swamps to get just that small benefit. The worst part being I looked over all my old cards and have snows from ice age in every colour but black.

My group is has basically assumed an "anything goes" attitude to an extent. I did learn there are limitations after trying out an Edric proxy on them though. Those limitations being as long as they can still do stuff. Out of the three cards named Exsanguinate is the most powerful. While amazing, as it takes me at least 8 turns of mana base building (usually) before it does THAT much my meta is ok with it. It also doesn't hurt that there is a LOT of blue/counters in my meta. Sorin Markov is just a nasty card. I don't think it is game breaking at all. Necropotence is VERY good but still doesn't necessarily win me the game.

Is Black Market relevant in your meta? I could see it being a great outlet for mana ramp if things are dying left and right. It might actually have some pretty fun Synergy with Lethal Vapors/Tainted AEther.

I had it in there once but it was too hit or miss. Some games it would give me 5-10. Many games though it didn't seem to be worth the investment. It has no synergy with any doubler and doesn't produce as much as a doubler will in most cases.

Burnished Hart seems a good addition to the deck to ramp faster.
