I'd rather have waited but absolutely nothing is happening.
I'd prefer not to lynch Dork Knight unless forced to by a deadline. Let's wait for marblez and sXe to get replaced. (btw, 48 hours? That feels like too much time considering they haven't posted for about 6 days already.)

Depends when they were prodded. Mods like to give a lot of chances, since lots of replacements ruins games.
Also, my vote on Wheat is ridiculous. Need to learn that gut is gut, and gut is weak.

School's been a ***** this year so far. I'm starting to get the hang of the classes now, so I should be able to post more.
Sorry if this comes off rude, but this just rubs me the wrong way. I can't speak to your school issues, since that's rl, and you have to take care of that, but you've contributed 3 posts total. One during RVS, and two more than a week apart with absolutely zero content.
To clarify: It doesn't necessarily rub me as scummy, but the fact that it's been over a week and you're only posting to not get replaced, and not to add anything at all when multiple other people have said they're waiting for you and Marblez to show up is frustrating.
In other news, do others really feel that lynching Dork Knight is the best way to keep things moving? Yes, his claim is a weird one, but he did leave himself exposed. Assuming he were scum, even if he did try to gambit with multiple other scumbuddies, there's no guarantee that someone else couldn't just say "but I targeted him too". Granted, someone could say that either way, but I feel he's either telling the truth or he's cornered himself if it's a fakeclaim.
I would love to investigate Marblez, because the confidence in his "Dork Knight is town" post was concerning, but I am also hesitant to lynch someone who's been absent, especially if he'll be replaced soon and his replacement can provide more content.
I do not feel comfortable lynching Dork Knight. Yes, I find his claim suspect, but it is confirmable. If it turns out he's lying then we lynch him. If we lynch him now we might rob ourselves of a powerful role.
I agree that this game has stalled, but we shouldn't lynch a confirmable claimed PR just to get things moving. That's potentially shooting ourselves in the foot for very little gain. If everybody is lynching because they're bored there isn't much information to be gained from the lynch.
Instead, we need to lynch somebody who is scummy. sXe's forced lack of participation is maddening. If your RL commitments are impacting your ability to participate so much you need to request to be replaced. If you're not going to play then give somebody else an opportunity to do so. I'm hesitant to call sXe scummy, but his last post shows that he's deliberately trying to stay in the game only to remain lurking. I'd rather sXe be replaced by somebody who actually wants to participate, but if sXe is going to remain in the game he needs to step up. If he doesn't I'm fine with lynching a determined lurker because that's scummy to me.

This. I know I shared my sentiments already, but appreciate your addition. Given the "forced lack of participation", I am inclined to vote sXe.
Lynching dork just seems very very wrong for reasons regarding uncc'ed pseudocop.
People wanting to push lurkers are town for it.
I don't know what to think about wheats vote. I mean, he votes claimed pr because bored? Why is he getting away with it? How is that town play?
After mulling it over and reading Nis' post, I think sXe is the better of the two lurkers to vote for, since Marblez may be replaced (or may provide actual content), but sXe has shown that he is posting just often enough to stay in the game. Also, no time frame for when content will be delivered was provided, so we could be looking at another week. While I'd like to think this is not the case, he has not gotten off to a good start this game. Also, I'm not as concerned now about Audinho. His posts since I voted for him before seem more town, specifically #208 and #219. The "people wanting to push lurkers are town for it" sticks out in my mind as mildly scummy, but I'd rather be putting my pressure on the active lurker.
(btw, 48 hours? That feels like too much time considering they haven't posted for about 6 days already.)
That is entirely my fault. They should have been prodded 3 days before I got around to it, but they didn't. The rules state all prodded individuals have 48 hours to post or be replaced, and I will not deviate from that.
Wow. I wasn't expecting a wagon to start on sXe so fast. My intention wasn't to say, "Let's go ahead and lynch this guy here." Instead I wanted to jolt sXe either into providing actual participation or request to be replaced. My thought was to give him some time to do something. See how quickly Cythare and Audinho jumped on my reasoning for sXe as a potential lynch is concerning.

I'm just doing what you are doing, except with a vote instead of words. Voting to push content is legit in my book.

Just to be clear, I commented on the sXe post before you. You said you'd rather he be replaced, but he's made it clear in his post that he has no intention of doing so. If he starts providing content, great. Maybe a vote prod will help. After reading your post and comparing it to my own thoughts, I felt that until he provides more, his behavior has been scummy. Active lurking does not help town, and that's how it comes across.
...
I agree that his posting seems shifty. My only exposure to Audinho's meta was during Kill Bill, which was a pretty unusual game. I would be inclined to agree with this line of thought for the time being, as I feel it's a line of thought that seems worse than 22's.
...
For now: Vote DorkKnight FOS Audinho
In context, Audinho voted for 22bebo over a language tell. Audinho was rightly jumped on for that by TMCT with a vote. Cythare agrees with TMCT and FoS'd Audinho instead of voting for him. If we view Cythare and Audinho as scum-buddies this reads as "That's a really bad idea. Don't push language tells." There is no mention of language tells from anybody after this.
Cythare and Audinho don't interact again for one week, when Cythare does this:
As usually I have no clue, but I would bet a lot on Marblez or sXe beeing one of them.
And I'm going to go on to a limb here, because the tone of your question doesn't sit right with me. It sounds to curious.
unvote, vote Wheatums
I'm surprised by this vote. Wheatums question didn't seem that prying, he was just asking your opinion, and you immediately turned it around with a vote on him?
Unvote Vote Audinho
Context: Audinho votes for Wheat for some nebulous feeling about Wheat's request for possible scum. Wheat challenges Audinho on this and Cythare jumps in, this time with a vote. Possibly another case of one scum telling another, "That's a bad avenue." Furthermore, Cythare doesn't press Audinho about this anymore. He just lets it go completely.
Alright, so this only makes sense if both Cythare and Audinho are scum. Cythare is trying to coach Audinho during these interactions, both of them after Audinho has voted using really awful reasoning.
"But Nis," you say, "what about their other interactions?" Here's the thing: there have been no other interactions between Cythare and Audinho up until after I pointed out how lynching DK now is bad. They have ignored each other except right after Audinho has done something bad. Audinho hasn't even ever addressed Cythare directly. They're trying to keep each other at arm's length and avoid interacting with each other. Cythare has stepped in two times when it looks like Audinho is starting to go off the deep end.
So given that my hypothesis works only if both of them are scum and we can only lynch one person today, I suggest we lynch Cythare. If he turns up scum it's highly likely that Audinho is scum as well. If we lynch Audinho today and he turns up scum then the "coaching" by Cythare really could be a townie speaking against bad behavior.

And with that Vote: Cythare.
I'm still not seeing Audinho as scum thus far, so I don't put much stock in your theory. This did stand out to me however:
The "people wanting to push lurkers are town for it" sticks out in my mind as mildly scummy, but I'd rather be putting my pressure on the active lurker.
Unvote Vote sXe
After Cythare's already cautious play, he changes from lecturing sXe to voting him after Audinho says its what town should do. Cythare distances himself from the quote, calling it mildly scummy, and then votes a lurker anyways? I think we may have something here.
Vote Cythare

So I went back over Audinho's and Cythare's posts. There are two that have me worried, both by Cythare:
In context, Audinho voted for 22bebo over a language tell. Audinho was rightly jumped on for that by TMCT with a vote. Cythare agrees with TMCT and FoS'd Audinho instead of voting for him. So that's an example of coaching!
Anyways, this logic makes sense to me, but I don't really want to put him at L-3 without a chance to respond. I'd also like to point out that Nis has the magic power of getting people to jump onto his wagon really, really quickly . . .

Not to answer for bebo but I would like to weigh in here. It's not bad per say but it can be dangerous. We don't Cythare speed lynched without giving him a chance to respond.
He either responds or goes quiet. He could come back with a compelling defense. If he doesn't have a good defense he'll go to L-2 and be expected to claim. What happens after that depends on his claim.
Sorry if this comes off rude, but this just rubs me the wrong way. I can't speak to your school issues, since that's rl, and you have to take care of that, but you've contributed 3 posts total. One during RVS, and two more than a week apart with absolutely zero content.

This post rubs me the wrong way big time. You're trying to push a case on a lurker but with enough lines like "not necessarily scummy" so that you can backpedal on it later.
And then you actually voted him, and Audinho follows.
I don't know what to think about wheats vote. I mean, he votes claimed pr because bored? Why is he getting away with it? How is that town play?
Why aren't you asking me about it directly? Why aren't you having even a semblance of scumhunting? Why are you foisting suspicion on me without actually trying to draw out a reaction from me to help confirm my alignment?
I think Nis is right about the Audinho/Cythare scumteam. At the very least, I've found Cythare to be scum for awhile now.
I appreciate the thought you put into your post. I'm pretty new to the game, so didn't even think about it being construed that way, but I can see the logic.
In the first post you quoted, I voted for Dork Knight. I felt that he was acting rather scummy up until his claim (which was suspect, but easy to counterclaim, so I dropped that). I FOS'ed Audinho using the same logic that TMCT had for voting him. At the time, I felt D_K was the better vote, so I used the FOS to point out that if I had two votes, I would have put it on Audinho. In retrospect, I should have switched to Audinho after Dork_Knight claimed, since I was still unhappy about his posts.
I voted Audinho the second time around because it was a second time that something he did came up as scummy to me. If you go through the other posts that he made between my FOS and Vote, you have the following:
You're right, it didn't add much to the game, but in other circumstances it could have. It added something for me, like ingame notekeeping. Also I felt like Seppel for a second, which was awesome.
I knew those non-votes would trouble someone, but it was worth it. Good joke.
This read to me as null. There was little content here that I could have go either way.
There probably should be more, as I replaced into beeing lynched in Mean Girls and got NK'ed N1 in Animaniacs.
I guess your reasoning is fair.
Related to the last couple, these are discussions about Audinho's meta. While maybe relevant for others who are more experienced, since I only have one completed game and 3 ongoing games under my belt, I decided not to try deciphering his meta.
I feel terribly detached from this game, really sorry. I'll focus my efforts here tomorrow, read through, maybe compile a pbpa and actually do stuff. I promise!
For today though, unvote because I'm not entirely sure 22 is scum.
This one might have been a little scummy according to W_G's logic of voting for me earlier, as it's kinda wishy-washy on the unvote and doesn't have much other content, but it didn't raise a flag for me.
Was gonna start a PBPA but I want to see Dorks claim first. I allready find it dubious that he feels he has to ask the mod, looks like he's buying time. But, beeing pretty new here, benefit of the doubt and so on.
This is also mostly null to me. He calls D_K out for buying time, then says he'll let it slide b/c D_K is new.
Hmmm. Easily countarclaimable (if anyone is a tracker OR a watcher they would CC), easily testable by posting results and in general by avoiding the nk as a claimed town powerrole in a basic.
I'd like to see results in the morning to back it up, but for now I'll buy it.
Also null to me. He's going to buy D_K's claim for now, based on the same logic everyone else stated.
Here's the aforementioned pbpa. Reads and comments are highly appreciated. I chose KoolKoal because I had a fishy feeling about him, but that changed during the making of it.
I decided to go through KoolKoals posts and try to look at the motivation behind them.
Random vote. Even RVS-posts has a motivation, on purpose or not. I have a feeling this vote might be a subconcious fear of Iso.
I don't see the point in changing your vote in RVS unless your jokevote is actually funny. This is not. It is also after pinkfloyd has called out his two scumreads, which should imply that rvs is in fact over.
I knew I would be called out for my votes when I read them after posting, and then figured I could gauge reactions on it. Initially I thought KK was town for beeing the first to comment on it, but he backed off immediately after I called him town for it. I think this means that he's just happy that he got a town point for it. Town does not care about getting town points.
Shifting to 22, aka the newb player who pf called out, aka the only noteable player during rvs besides myself.
On 22.
On 22. Still basically saying "PF said you were scum. Defend!"
Voting based on a misrep which really looks like a misunderstanding (hindsight 20/20 though)
So if PF saw what KK thinks he saw, then the case stands, and if he didn't then... No case?
This is what made me doubt KK's townieness. The metadefence of me is weird, uncalled for and actually quite weak since he says he has only read a very small selection of my games (two in which I replaced in, the last I was NK'ed N1). The only reasons for this I can find is that he wants to buddy me as well as get all the attention focused on 22.
Still 22.
Defending his vote to Nis, which there are really no reason to do. 22 was at L-3, but that's not even near dangerous in a basic. Nis' warning is legitimate to those who had not yet voted to be careful, and doesn't really affect the ones allready on the wagon.
Nis comes in defending 22, basically saying what 22 has been saying all along, and there's the unvote. Motivation: feels threatened.
I question him on the metadefence of me, and he comes up with two games I hardly participated in. I thought the reasoning for the unvote looked fair, but after Nis' post I don't see how 22 was going to be pushed to a claim.
Completes a 180 on 22 ("I think we were wrong") but is also basically asking Nis what to think. Buddying Nis seems to be the motivation behind this one. Also says he has read Ghost Story in the case of my meta. I guess I actually got to play a bit in that game.
Defending that he was scumhunting and questioning DK's choice of words. Motivation: Selfdefence and clarity in the game.
I agree with this asessment if the claim. Motivation: Comment on the claim, ofc.
I think that KK is misinterpreting Wheat's post.
To sum up: I thought, going into this pbpa, that KK could be scum. After going through it with a critical and even biased eye (I have a tendency to decide the outcome before I even begin, which sucks), the simplest and most elegant explanation is that KK is eager town. He has been trying to scumhunt and making cases out of small things, which makes it look fishy when it falls apart. His metadefence of me is strange, but if he read Ghost Story then I guess it's valid.
Audinho's PBPA. I didn't have much to add to it, so I didn't feel the need to respond. I approved of his assessment, but didn't see what would be helpful in saying "yeah, I approve of this logic as to why KK is townie".
I was litterarily going "Omg! Lurking scum! GOTCHA!" before I realized Manders is the mod. Why does everyone have to have the same dead dictator in theire avatars?
Speaking of lurking scum: Scum are lurking in this game from the start as in every other game I've ever been in. Mark my words.
Weird joke, but null to me. At this point, there were lurkers (and there still are), and while I do feel that they are important to try to get to participate, this post wasn't anything special.
As usually I have no clue, but I would bet a lot on Marblez or sXe beeing one of them.
And I'm going to go on to a limb here, because the tone of your question doesn't sit right with me. It sounds to curious.
unvote, vote Wheatums
The vote post. Logic continued outside spoiler.
I vote for him because his logic is faulty at best. Up until then, there was little for me to interact with. If he is scum, and I ended up coaching him, I don't really have much to say besides "I'm sorry town", because I didn't put things together like you did, Nis.
For part 3, after Audinho's vote:
You mention that I dropped it completely. If you'll notice, things went dead all over for a while. While a poor reason for not following up, no one else seemed interested in Audinho, so in my noobness, I figured maybe it wasn't a target others agreed with. By the time things picked up again, there appeared to be other people that needed more attention, so I noted the "people wanting to push lurkers are town for it" as something that stuck out to me, because Audinho was still on my radar. I felt that it was more useful to put pressure on the lurker that seems content to post just often enough to avoid replacement. I figured I could always come back to Audinho later, but if the lurkers were scum and were able to just keep lurking their way through the game, the game would be worse for that than for Audinho still being present but active. If sXe and Marblez become active players and aren't very scummy about their play, then I will most definitely be investigating Audinho again.
So here's how your nine post pbpa of Audinho breaks down:
5 null tells
1 no flag
1 avoid meta
1 agree with pbpa
1 faulty logic
You are also for going after lurkers for lurking instead of sticking to your guns about Audinho. Myself, I don't find lynch all lurkers viable this early (if ever). Marblez is likely going to be replaced and sXe we can come back to if he continues to avoid participating. At this point, instead of going for an easy lynch of somebody who probably won't/can't defend him- or herself we should look at the interactions that are available.
Feel free to claim. You're in a tough spot so I doubt a claim will help you much.

Fair enough. I am Luke Frywalker, Town Jailkeeper. Each night, I can protect one person from kills directed at them, but it also roleblocks them. I can't target myself, because it includes the roleblock function.
EBWODP: I'm not sure how this is different from a jailer as far as classification, but I can't kill my target, which is apparently something some jailer wikis say Jailers can do.
I did decide that your claim was questionable, because there was something a little off about your role name. What about my role name is questionable? There appears to be a distinct difference between Jailkeeper and Jailer, or at least some variety, but the two sites I visited (because I'd only seen Jailer on here before when purusing old games) had different definitions:
I'm not sure how I feel about this claim. Jailer is a conceivable role in a basic (Cirque du Freak had a town jailer for example). However, it's also a good falseclaim for a mafia roleblocker. It's also a little tough to verify. DK could either tell that you targeted somebody or confirm that you blocked him (note I'm not trying to direct DK. Just stating a possibility). Without knowing that a death was prevented, though, there's no way to distinguish you from a roleblocker.
I do think if you're scum then so is Audinho so lynching you could give us another scum if you are scum. I'm not sure whether the risk of you being a town PR outweighs the benefit of nabbing two scum. Normally I'd say we keep you alive until we can verify your claim more, but DK's role is quite strong already. Would potentially losing your role hurt us much?
Really I haven't ever played in a game with a jailer so I'm not sure how the role affects the dynamics of the game.

Really I haven't ever played in a game with a jailer so I'm not sure how the role affects the dynamics of the game.
I'm not sure how much losing the jailer will hurt town. Like I mentioned before, I've only played a few games of Mafia ever, and am not aware of having played with one that included a jailer, so I can't speak to how important it is. That said, I can't use the ability on myself, so I may have painted a target on myself even if you don't lynch me today. At the very least, I can use my jail ability to ensure that D_K, as the only other claimed PR survives Night 1, but then he can't investigate, so it's a wash from that standpoint. The other thing that could happen, which you mentioned, is to have me target a random third person, but there's no way to confirm the jail, since that would require coordination that the mafia would be able to see, and they would probably just choose a different target rather than waste the NK.
Jailer: Can "jail" a player, stopping them from performing actions, and can kill them. Seems it can only be used if it's a no lynch day?
Why would you visit infosites to check what your ability does? It's supposed to be right there in your pm. I used to check those sites all the time, but that was when OTHER people claimed roles I didn't know exactly how worked.
I think that gives away the falseclaim.
I'm not voting though since discussion is not over, and Cythare could selfvote if put to L-1. DO NOT VOTE HIM YET IF YOU WANT TO.
(pseudovote: Cythare)
Also: I like Nis' logic and general play. Townie points for choosing the option between scumspects that does not set up a chainlynch if incorrect.

Good call. This solidifies him as either far-too-nervous town or lying scum.
The only danger in lynching Cythare is that, if he's actually town, he could be our only Doc variant.

I would of course prefer that we check out Cythares interactions before that happends (or while).

After Cythare's already cautious play, he changes from lecturing sXe to voting him after Audinho says its what town should do. Cythare distances himself from the quote, calling it mildly scummy, and then votes a lurker anyways? I think we may have something here.
Vote Cythare
Unvote, vote Cythare

>Pushes lynch on lurker
LOL
So that's an example of coaching!
Anyways, this logic makes sense to me, but I don't really want to put him at L-3 without a chance to respond. I'd also like to point out that Nis has the magic power of getting people to jump onto his wagon really, really quickly . . .
@Bebo- how is L-3 bad?
unvote, vote Cythare
Now he's at L-3. What happens now?
I promise to use this power only for good!

Missed that. I'll keep it in mind for later.
This post rubs me the wrong way big time. You're trying to push a case on a lurker but with enough lines like "not necessarily scummy" so that you can backpedal on it later.
And then you actually voted him, and Audinho follows.
Unvote, Vote: Cythare
This read to me as null. There was little content here that I could have go either way.
Also null to me. The second line could have gone either way, and the first and third are not telling of alignment.
Related to the last couple, these are discussions about Audinho's meta. While maybe relevant for others who are more experienced, since I only have one completed game and 3 ongoing games under my belt, I decided not to try deciphering his meta.
This one might have been a little scummy according to W_G's logic of voting for me earlier, as it's kinda wishy-washy on the unvote and doesn't have much other content, but it didn't raise a flag for me.
This is also mostly null to me. He calls D_K out for buying time, then says he'll let it slide b/c D_K is new.
Also null to me. He's going to buy D_K's claim for now, based on the same logic everyone else stated.
Audinho's PBPA. I didn't have much to add to it, so I didn't feel the need to respond. I approved of his assessment, but didn't see what would be helpful in saying "yeah, I approve of this logic as to why KK is townie".
Weird joke, but null to me. At this point, there were lurkers (and there still are), and while I do feel that they are important to try to get to participate, this post wasn't anything special.
