I would like this set to have a mini legendary theme, one new legend for each guild, one for each enemy wedge color combination and some 5 mana color ones.

4 color legends are superfluous. Especially clogging up mythic spots.

There have been strong hints that the guild champion from each of the ten guilds will appear in DGM. Enemy wedges won't happen. Four color legendary Nephilim is a bit wishful but isn't baseless speculation. Doubt there'll be any five-color legends; 10-15 legends in a small set is already a lot.

........Yes we do. MaRo has already stated that he wished they would've made the original cycle legendary after seeing how big EDH got. Plus, we don't know if there are more of them lying dormant on Rav. I mean, not ALL of them could've gotten back to their home plane, because of the weird space bubble that was on Rav preventing planeswalking.

I don't get the big deal about 4 color legendaries, even for edh. Just play a 5-color general and only use 4 colors. A general doesn't even have to be castable in order for an edh deck to be good, you know.

That would be a decent theory, had most of them not been killed and we didn't have Jace and Gideon romping around. MaRo also said that the Nephs weren't that successful, ppl want them as legends....just...for...EDH. If something is needed for EDH uses and nothing more then let them release it in the Commander series of products. Id personally would rather see,ya know, guild stuff?

Under the stones the city is built on, there is a code apparently written by the Azorius during the foundation of Ravnica. This codes is like a path that leads to something the Izzet and Jace believe could grant immense powers to the guild obtaining it. It is also theorized that said thing could be a weapon of some sort. Apparently, this whole code thing was made by the guild founders in case something were to happen to the guildpact, so that one guild could rule them all.
Now this all Start to remind me kinda of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Has Similarites

QFT. I personally don't care whether or not 4-color legendaries get printed, but if they do I definitely don't want them eating up 5 mythic slots in a small set. Just print them in a Commander product (which happens yearly now!).

People insistent on 4-color legends make almost zero sense. You can literally play Reaper King as 4-color if that's a restriction you want, and at that rate it's going to be about 5 cards off the rainbow good stuff deck regardless.

I think its less the fact that the nephilim give you a color identity with 4 colors, and much more that each of the nephilim have interesting and unique abilities that we don't really see in any other legends. That said, I don't know how they would fit into this set. There is a lot more room for that kind of design in the new yearly commander product.
