I love Murder Investigation. I think it would be more interesting design if you could use it on your opponents creatures though. Turn 2 Murder Investigation on their creature, turn 4 wait for sweep.

no, you cannot replicate Gigadrowse in response to a counterspell...

the only chance you have to replicate something is as soon as you cast it.
Replicate triggers when you cast the spell, it's not an activated ability available all the time that spell is on the stack.

Gigadrowse is stronger in monoblue decks as it will tap one more permanent.
And probably weaker anywhere else (if your opponent is not playing a heavy counterspell deck).

The Emissary opens up all sorts of play lines. Magical xmas time -

T1: Stomping Grounds -> Arbor Elf
T2: Land -> Emissary -> Wild Beastmaster
T3: Bloodrush Zhur-Taa Swine to WB, swing for 21

Other T2 emissary plays - Strangleroot/Ash Zealot + Rancor, Domri Rade

^nm, misread the Bloodrush ability of Swine. I don't think it would work...still, a T2 Beastmaster in a world of playable Hasted creatures + Rancor seems awfully powerful.

he said "liquimetal coating or something" which does it wow, I really want to just use copy artifact on the bracers, equip them all to to the tezzeret (he can make the combo work alone: find the artifacts, make himself a 5/5) and just play his ultimate for 6 times the number of artifacts you control

It would work. Since Wild Beastmaster's ability check her power on resolution.

T1: Fetch into Savannah, Green Sun Zenith into Dryad Arbor

T2: Plateau, Emissary, Tarmogoyf, Wild Nacatl

This is possible.

The emissary makes the human reanimator in standard much better. You use the innistrad block way of winning (aristocrat + fiend hunter + angel) but now all the pieces are human!

Angel of Glory's Rise, Burning Tree Emissary, Fiend Hunter, Disciple of Griselbrand

- gives you infinite life, and with a goldnight commander, pumps either the disciple or commander to infinite.

I just realized something!

Look at the art for Drakewing Krasis.

Now look at the art for Skyline Predator.

It looks like the Simic of today improved the Ravnican Drake in the same way that the Simic of the original Ravnica improved the Sky Swallower!

Captain of the Mists with Bracers + Gilded Lotus = Infinite Mana

Tap Gilded Lotus gain 3 mana > Tap Captain and pay 1U > Untap Captain and Gilded Lotus > back to step 1

I think the combo will work, you seem to be forgetting that you can untap the elf twice, making 4 mana

Deathpact Angel: Really sweet card so far my favorite of the set. That being said it doesn't seem all that great but might be slightly playable as a trump similar to AoS though AoS is likely just better if slightly more expensive.

Bracers: These things seem just really sweet even if their just giving marginal value from from geist triggers. Look forward to seeing decks built around this.

Other than that the rest of the cards seem kinda meh (which is ok).
