Choose One: Return target creature you control and all auras you control attached to it to the hand of its respective owners; or destroy target creature and you lose life equal to that creature's toughness; or return target creature with CMC 1 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
I like that there's a removal spell this strong on a charm. You don't need to have that much extra versatility on the charm to make it good when it already has that mode.
Thing is, both other modes are total misses. Even something like Raise Dead would have made this playable, but this is so close to a Vendetta for WB that I don't see it making the cut.
I think Dimir Charm has more modes that could actually be used than this card Mark of Eviction is a blue effect - I'm curious why they gave it to WB card - flickerform? The proclamation of rebirth effect is pretty narrow too. Definite pass, esp considering how deep Orzhov is already

Because it's not Mark of Eviction. It's the rescue mechanic from Planar Chaos (Whitemane Lion, Stonecloaker, Dust Elemental) and protecting your creatures is more or less a white quality. It lost a lot of value after the M10 rules change.

The Mark of Eviction quality I was referring to is returning the aura's to hand also. I forgot about the stonecloaker effect - good call. It's good to save your own auras, but pretty terrible to return their auras as well (ie, stab wound, arrest, etc).

When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.

Well, what do we think?

Draft it on Cubetutor!
I might have considered it if it were CMC two or less, but this reeks of one semi useful mode.

Because obviously gerrard's verdict as a mode would make it playable even if it were the only mode and a sorcery.
wait...
Yeah mind rot is fine so long as it's 2 mana Sometimes Hymm's random discard screws people, but that's not the main reason people want it.

Auras you don't control go to the graveyard.
It doesn't return their auras.
