Thanks!

Wow, that counter is really hot. I hope it isn't rare. And the guildmage ain't all that bad, especially in limited.

I'm more excited about the counter target activated ability part of the guildmage. The counter seems cool. It's definately a rare.

Yeah, I'd have to agree that the counter is a rare. Just take a look at Bind, Stifle and the like. I am so going to buy a case of Dissension!

Edit: anti-Jitte a bit too late. Oh well, we'll have a few months of it.

The Husar is a very bad Impulse in monoblue, but something that's quite possibly playable in W/U.

The Guildmage is mediocre tech against Orzhova and Vitu-Ghazi, which tear blue to shreds.

Dissolving slime is quite awesome - the new, more versatile, more expensive Stifle! (It's also definitely a rare.)

This card is more than good, it shuts down every ability in the game except for static effects. It is not situational, since it can simply function as a hard counter, but it will fit any situation. I think this will have a high price tag for some time simply due to its flexibility. It's a Counterspell and Stifle rolled into one nice little package. Plus, green should be able to handle the colors, especially with first turn, Birds, second turn, this thing is online...

Solid limited card? Even though this is a bleed card, I still think it is much more white than blue. Anyone else agree?

I really, really like this Guildmage, even though the abilities may seem situational, it shuts down an awful lot of cards if it can stay in play. It also allows you to save counters at times, or simply take a creature out of combat. This neutralizes creature attacks very well, but what creature deck does not run removal right now? I would have to test this to tell how good it could be (i.e. -- if it can stay in play)

Screw that noise, good thing there are going to be Duals and Pains to splash G for this in mono-u Control!

Woot woot! Looks alot like a Hinder replacement for when Kamigawa rotates.

hmmm.. if this is right, we have a gm missing elsewhere AND w/u is missing a hybrid...

also, love the counter. I can't wait to see what more simic has to offer.

Also like the twist with the playing with a diff color thing. encourages multicolor play more than the others (as if the block didnt stress it enough)

That Slime card seems alittle too good if you ask me. Since when did Green care about stopping activated or triggered abilities? Well if slime turns out to be real looks like Crit Mass Update is going to go nuts.

The GuildMage seems about right though.

Those are very solid cards indeed. Collector numbers would be nice, but I'm sure someone can make some guesses as to where they belong in the Number Crunching thread.

WOW, that's a nice counter. The Guildmage is okay. The Hussar is pretty good, IMHO.
