Default [MOR] Noggin Whack, Thieves' Fortune and Stream of Unconsciousness (rumored)

I've heard some talk about Noggin Whack, known from the Rogue poster

It supposedy is a tribal rogue sorcery for 2bb with prowl 1b that lets target player reveal three cards from his hand. You choose two of them. That player discards those cards.

They say there is also a tribal rogue instant called Thieves' Fortune (2u with prowl u
It lets you look at the top four cards of your library. You the can put one of them into your hand and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order

Stream of Unconsciousness is a u tribal wizard instant that gives target creature -4/-0 until end of turn. If you control a wizard, you may draw a card.

The other thing I heard is that there are no new planeswalkers in the near future

That's an interesting card. I like how "Prowl" is going to teach a lot of people to play things AFTER combat.

That's a pretty powerful card. It could be great if the right deck appears; time will tell, I suppose.

Noggin Whack 2BB (U)
Tribal Sorcery - Rogue
Prowl 1B (if a rogue dealt damage to an opponent this turn you may play this for its prowl cost)
Target player reveal three cards from his or her hand. Choose two of them. That player discards those cards.

Kind of boring, but discard is discard.

That'd be nice tech in limited. Between this and Mournwelk, there's some reason to hold back lands. It's an interesting stress that I never experienced in TS block.

that card seems to have a lot of potential. selecting 2 cards to discard for 2 mana is not bad. oona's prowler seems to be getting a lot of love from this set

It is just a ramped up Blackmail with the prowl. Without the prowl, eh.

Prowl on noncreature spells makes it only about a billion time more interesting.

Prowl reminds me of Ninjutsu and Bloodthirst. It gives you decision either making a bad block, or let attacking creature through and Bang! Prowl creature/spell.

Nightshade Stinger on 1st turn would make Noggin Whack insane.

Nice card. play it on turn three with the Frogtosser Banneret and if the goblin got in you could play Earwig squad too.

I can see the card being a problem card, but i do not find it particularly interesting.

msun: Highroller, you bring up spoons as though they were the utensil used for scooping ice cream.

it's an okay card, i guess. nice if you do have rogues. hope we get more playable rogues in black. if not, i'll stick with my stupor and auger... but it would be really nice to hit someone with this after discarding to oona's prowler for damage control. that's just adding insult to injury...

Always a 2 for 1 and it can be a 2 for 1 for 1B. Sound familiar? I think it will see play. Rogues are looking to be quite efficient....

Is it just me or are the card names in this set really bad?
