How hard do we have to work now a days for a little value in this game? ;p
Thanks for posting dude... man I am in love with this set's feel so far. I definitely dig this logo. MaRo is lead which ensures cocoo-nutty hijinks. I have a good feeling about 'moor.
When I first saw the new logo, the first thing that popped into my mind was, that it looked like a "evil" version of Lorwyn's symbol. But, the more I look at it, the more I'm not sure what it is.

Those responsible for the oversight have been... harvested.
This is all speculation, but I think I might be onto something.
I'm pretty sure he was hinting at The Reaper King being a card/character in the story and harvest as being a new mechanic/keyword.
Harvest most likely involving creatures in your graveyard. If I had to guess, it would be something like, Remove a creature in your graveyard from the game and target creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
My first thought seeing this was definitely that it looks like a twisted, darkened Lorwyn symbol, furthering the theory that Shadowmoor and Doughnut will be based in Lorwyn's gloomy alternate reality.
You're all missing something very important. Look at who the response was written by: The Reaper King.
That explains the "Harvested" comment, and gives a huge clue about the set to... Somebody smarter than me.
This, in combination with some of the other dribbles of information we've gotten recently, lead me to believe that we were off somewhat in our assessment of Shadowmoor's theme (although, in our defense, if we were, it was because Future Sight mislead us...)
I'm thinking now that it's not that Shadowmoor is a refined, elegant Victorian horror setting; I think it really is the opposite of Lorwyn -- where that setting was a happy world of faerie tales, Shadowmoor is a spooky and icky world of ghost stories.
(Meanwhile, the chances of Shadowmoor being anything but a graveyard block continue to dwindle...)

Anyways, in the Ask Wizards today, they revealed the expansion symbol.
Not bad, not bad....
Looks like some kind of giant bat to me.

I just saw that as a 'generic dark comment'.
It doesn't look anything like a scythe.
Ok, I google image searched and found one person's drawing of a scythe that looks a little like this, but still...

to me it does look like a bat more so than anything else, maybe it could symbolize a vampire of sorts

I have more over in the Speculation forum.

At first, I was like, they didn't say anything about that! But I see now that the file name for the logo image does have it as SHM. Nice find.
I think that's the best one yet. I think it's the top half of a pumpkin too...
And if Lorwyn is eternal "spring"....maybe SHM (new abbrev...lol) is eternal "fall".
Maybe this will be the "Halloween" set.
Cheers,
