Some rumored cards that will help finish off the spoiler I heard about and wanted to share with everyone here.
Luminescent Rain {2}{G} Com. Instant Choose a creature type. You gian 2 life for each permanent you control of that type. Floodchaser {U} Com. Creature - Elemental {this} comes into play with a +1/+1 counter. {this} can't attack unless defending player controls an Island. {U} remove a +1/+1 counter from {this}: Target land becomes an Island until end of turn. 0/0 Mosquito Guard {W} Com. Creature - Kithkin Soldier First strike Reinforce 1 {1}{w} 1/1 And a rare rumored card for clerics Battletide Alchemist {3}{W}{W} Rare. Creature - Kithkin Cleric If a source would deal damage to a player, you may prevent x of that damage, where X is the number of clerics you control. 3/4 I hope you like these, I'll see what else I can look at on the weekend for you. |

Nice Jojo's bizarre adventure Avatar and name there Crazy! Choice as!
thanks for reporting this too! If the info is accurate, The cleric lord is quite underwhelming... mainly because it's very expensive to have a firm impact on the game. Still rumored cards are rumored cards, and the mill will take anything it can get at this time.

Awesome 1 drops for Kithkin. =/ No other tribe gets multiple usable 1 drops. In Block.
About the Cleric lord, it can actually provide a softlock provided you have enough Clerics. Even 3 Clerics in play would shut down 3 power creatures and burn spells to the head.

Not meaning to be overly skeptical, but there's one known card there, and the others follow known themes.
Not to say that they're fake, but I'm kinda reserving judgment on them until I see Imp, or a mod confirm them, especially with a post count of 1. If they're true, then great find! I see Imp's basically confirmed/Sarnath'd me. Last edited by jrzman : 01-10-2008 at 01:06 AM. Reason: Sarnath'd |

I like the new cleric lord; sure he aient really constructed worthy but in multiplayer he can net you some friends by negating some damage for them.

Doesn't it also seem a bit like filler to anyone else? It seems like a last-minute change/addition. Especially since it's so "merfolk" without being one. |

I guess this has synergy with the cards that care about +1+1 counters, but it doesn't appear to make much sense in general, or especially as an elemental. Hmmm. WotC makes such weird cards sometimes.

really, it's not that bad, it turns all of your clerics into urza's armors which, while that artifact is overcosted a bit i think, having multiples out can put a hamper on any deck.
I know it's easier to deal with a creature too, but ya know, it's a give and take with permanents.

the cleric is... uhmmm... interesting. it is quite underwhelming, although you can stall the game with it by dropping your clerics so you won't take damage, and hope your opponent conceeds out of boredom. it guess the main purpose of this card is to just stall your opponent then build up your board.
the lifegain might be usable in limited to some extent. it can net you quite a significant amount of life. okay, now why would i want a card that basically does nothing but chump when there are other better ways to turn a land into an island. the weird thing is that you have to basically kill it for it to go on offense. |

My thoughts exactly. At least the second-worst blue card we've seen so far, competing with Research the Deep for top honors.
The Cleric lord has quite a powerful effect, though this is balanced by the fact that Cleric is a pretty small and weak tribe. |
