Rivals Duel is like wow in limited. It's like a much better arena in spell form that doesn't ahve to use your own men to deal damage. Weak if your going up against a treefolk deck, it'll never hit a changeling, but when it does work well it's gonna be a two for one. It will certaininly be a good card for limited and will make alot of people look twice at all those guys on the field.

Wow that Kithkin just seems...craptacular. Maybe its just me, but 5 mana for a little 3/3 just ain't impressive. Ok so its 3/6 when it attacks, but meh.

The other one could be kinda useful, it turns giants into assassins!

Huh. And uncommon selective WoG.
Maybe red won't suck so horribly in limited now.

Yeah, if I'm getting this right, it can take out an opponents Nova Chaser and their Indomitable Ancients, correct? A nice little 2 for 1, easily splashed too.

Rival's Duel is amazing in limited and it actually punishes nonn-tribal decks if it used in constructed. I choose you two Vanquisher and Tarmogoyf :P

yeah, the kithkin made me go, "so what?" but the sorcery, on the other hand, will most likely see heavy play in all its legal formats.

It doesn't do anything special to Doran, he just uses COMBAT damage, nothing else.

I think thats why he said it would be one-sided. Anyways the red card is a limited bomb, and the white is just filler.

I think he meant that since doran has 0 power, his moonglove winnower can go to town without being hurt.

Deathtouch guys win again hooray! This card will make people thing twice about splashing for white giants in their merfolk deck.

He means that Doran won't do any damage to your own creature if your target Doran and, say, your own Nova Chaser.

The Duel is absolutely awesome. Probably a first pick uncommon for Draft.

The Kithkin is very weak. If it gave another ability, like Life-link, it would be mildly playable in Limited. Now it's just plain weak.

That sorcery is all kinds of awesome. I like the idea if taking out two creatures and I think this card will see play in constructed. Nau's suggestion of vanquisher/Goyf trade may prove to be killer against that deck. Of course, if Doran becomes popular and Vanquisher fades out of Tarmorock, this card may flop.

I think the duel is just too expensive in Constructed... 4CC is a lot for a very conditional 2-for-1. It's definitely first-pick quality in draft, though.
