I thought we allready had this card but I can't find the thread, anyway:

38 U Knowledge Exploitation (…)

40 U Merrow Witsniper (Merfolk Rogue)

45 U Notorious Throng (… Rogue)

3 to go! For blue that is.

We had the card, but we were unsure of the exact mana costs.

Anyway, very good card drawer. I can see this one drawing you seven after you made some obscene amounts of mana in combo decks.

Very good! Nice find.

Mt elementals will love it, not having to entirely rely on Mulldrifter....

msun: Highroller, you bring up spoons as though they were the utensil used for scooping ice cream.

Actually we were only missing the evoke. Thanks, St@rWizard.

The countdown is now 7....

Hm... not sure. How often is this going to be a reliable source of card draw in a blue deck? In my experience, I usually have more cards in hand than my opponent, or about equal.

I guess a 3/3 cantrip for 2UU isn't too bad (if hands are close to equal), but I think it would have been a better fit in green.

Still, I'm sure it will fit somewhere, just not in the traditional keep-your-hand-full control decks.

There it is. Some of it was difficult to make out but I believe it's correct.

EDIT: Oh, I found it spoiled in the number crunch. Feel free to close this, mods.

No we didn't, we were missing the name and thoughness. But anyway, indeed counting to zero with still three blue cards to go. Which is the most exciting because it's my color.

(SIGNIFICANT EDIT now cost for evoke is rumoured at 3u)
This card no longer worries me. There's a huge difference bewteen 3 and 4 mana for an effect like this.

It may still see play, but all comments about this being a card to watch/restrict/ban in Eternal formats are now retracted.

This card worries me.

The last card which cost 2u and raised your hand size to that of your opponent was a tad broken.

This card, evoked, does basically the same thing but without refreshing the other cards in your hand, or having an impact on your opponent's hand.

Watch for this to make a BIG splash in Vintage combo decks, as an inferior second Windfall. This is the only card in the set I think stands any chance of restriction/banning in any formats.

Oh, and it's near-useless in control decks, for reasons outlined above (you usually have more cards than opponents).

That's basically what I said some posts above. I can see this one heavily played in combo. Even if you worry about them not having cards, you can use some symetrical draw like Vision Skeins, a card that helps your strategy anyway.

And in Legacy... ha-ha, it's at least a secondary win condition if played as a creature. After all, you opponent will sideboard against a combo deck, putting out all creature removal. If he stops your combo, it will often be easy to just beat him down to death with 3/3s.

Like Sirgog's, my first thought was Windfall.

Windfall was broken in its metagame, though that contained lots of fast mana. I don't know if Slithermuse is broken in standard, but in vintage this has enormous potential.

Is this confirmed? I have doubts about this being real.

We have a name now.

We'll see how this card performs. It has a lot of potential, certainly. The current metagame may not be the first fit...but metagames can change in two years.

Another card to grab four of.

There are blurry scans buzzing about.
The only part of the card I was waiting for was the evoke cost.
This thread provided it.

Sigh. It's an awesome card....in the wrong color. If this was in any other color, it would rock da house. Still, it's murder in limited.
