: Reveal your hand. Target player chooses a card from it and you discard that card. If you do, that player reveals his or her hand. Choose a card from it. The player discards that card. Play this ability only any time you could play a sorcery and only once each turn.
So, how do you thin this will end up?

Forgive me father, I did an original sin, I poked a badger with a spoon.
Yes, I like my coffee, hot and strong... Like I like my women: Hot and strong, with a spoon in them.
I've always felt that the "0: Effect" cards are pretty inelegant, so I hope they rewrite that somehow. As it is, the card is neat and functional, but not as "cool" as some of the other suggestions or previous invitational cards.
In any case, congrats to Terry... he definately seemed to come out of left field, being relatively low-profile to defeating greats like Maher and Budde and all the other invitationalists.
From what i've read in the other thread, i guess i'm one of the few people that actually likes this card.
But I like that card, at least its better than He Who Hungers , faster i mean, and you can always play a card draw to fill your hand again (U/B deck anyone), though you can only play it once in a turn

"Será cuando, cuando sea Y mi cabeza caiga Cuando mi sangre corra
Cuando a tu memoria llegue Y domine en la penumbra O el caos termine..."
I think it's actually a well-balanced card. You are in effect trading the best card in your hand for the best card in their hand every turn. The wording prevents you from getting something for nothing, and playing it as a sorcery only prevents a lot of possible trickery.
While this is great when you have a weak hand and can't seem to draw anything but land, it's not so hot if you're playing a deck where you have to sandbag specific cards for a few turns (such as TPS in Vintage).
I can think of a few decks where I'd at least want to test it.

I am no longer on MTGS staff, so please don't contact me asking me to do staff things. :|
As it is this card is far too powerful because you can use the ability the turn it comes into play. Second turn say your playing MBA/suicide they get a small black creature and you get whatever you want out of their hand. I think it will cost mana to use the ability so that most likely you can't activate it turn 2.
"Reveal your hand: Target player chooses a nonland card..."
You can't have revealing your hand as the cost, it wouldn't work out. You would have to reveal your hand, have your opponent look at it, then he could respond, and then you would have to reveal your hand again for him to choose a card out of it. It would be silly
If you have it trigger at a set time (like at the beginning of your upkeep), that gets rid of the 0 activition cost and the once per turn line. Although that would reduce the flexibility of the card :slant:

If you came here expecting a signature, you've just wasted your time.
This is definitely one of the best designed cards of the bunch. It still need a bit of development, but that's fine. Hopefully, Unluckyman's Paradise will be voted into the set as well.
Oh, and it will surely be weird to have a black wizard with Soh's baby face.
What about: At the beginning of your upkeep you may...? I'm happy Soh won, Unluckyman's Paradise is a card asking for troubles... Although something along the lines of -
X: Put ~this~ into play with a luck counter on it. X is the number of lands you control. other rules text
well, i'm more excited by the ravnica stuff they had, and dark confident is sweet, especially with sensei's diving top or any other library manipulation. this, though...man, i wanted that elf to win...the one that let you search for stuff when it was put into a graveyard from play. and the land was cool, too. as for this card, they'll probably make it cost more and make it a 2/1, ruining it altogether...:(
revealing hand as a cost would work. so would have it triggering once a turn...like beginning of upkeep (that removes the once a turn clause). it seems like it would be a bit too good since you can use it to totally mana screw someone at the cost of cards in hand. it will prbably be limited to making the opponent discard non-land cards (and its fine if they choose lands from your hand).

Reveal your hand, then discard a card of target opponent's choice from it: Target opponent reveals his hand. Choose a card and then they discard it.
Or something like that.
Also, I was drugged up on headache meds when I read this and origninally I thought it did something completely different where you and your opponent like switched cards or something.

I think the card is great... Not too powerful compared to some of the cards. Wizard would probably tweek this card into something like this:

At the beginning of your upkeep, you and target opponent reveal their hands. You may discard a card to choose a card from target opponent's hand to discard.
2/2
Even though it was changed a little, it will give a little spin to it because in multiplayer, if you care in what 1 opponent had in his hand, you will have a 2nd target to discard from

idk....i think a small amount of tweaking and rewording and this card could see play in some decks....it really has the potential to shut down some of the big time decks...and the fact that u choose the card to discard.....fantastic!
cant wait to see what this card ends up as

Yeah I was wondering if it was indeed done, and that we could see on MTGO, but not in the Inv page.
Sad, I don't have MTGO here. Not at home =/
