Default [EDH] Top 5 Generals of all time

Just to spark some friggin conversation, I figured EDH is one of the more popular formats so I am going to do a few top 5's of generals. The first in this series will be most fun...i had a blast building A Hakim, Loreweaver, Shauku, Endbringer and Jhoira of the ghitu decks, so those are my votes. What do others think? what general is the most fun to play/play against?

TOP 5 Most Fun EDH generals:
(so far in no particular order)
Jhoira of the Ghitu
Scion of the Ur-Dragon
Zur the enchanter

i'm having a blast with my Teysa, Orzhov Scion deck. Actually, she is my only one still. Tweaking as we go, she turns out to be pretty powerfull, shamelessly powering out a Storm Herd on turn 5 if the stars align.

Theorectically (I follow the format but have yet to actually play a game), I would say the Momir Vig, Simic Visionary and Teneb, the Harvesterlook like amazing generals. They are both in great color combinations and have some card advantage built into them. Sliver Overlord is probably brutal and Jhoira of the Ghitu looks very interesting.

The general I'm dying to use is Angus MacKenzie. Fog you!

Cheers,
rant

For pure powerfulness, Zur, Maga, and Mormir Vig are probably some of the strongest.

For pure fun, something like Iname, Death Aspect (search for 20+ spirits, Mortal Combat?), Norin the Wary (Abuse him with stuff like Genesis Chamber and token generation to blink him in and out, etc for nonstop fun), and my current one, Dosan, the Falling Leaf to stop shenanigans and then comboing out. That's right, mono green combo decks win!

I think that Scion of the Ur-Dragon could be a pretty brutal commander. I haven't played the format, but he looks brutal from the surface. Also lets you play many nifty dragons with fun abilities.

Zur the Enchanter or Ertai, the Corrupted are probably better though (and they have neat synergy).

Rofellos has the be the LEAST fun general.

He was so good that he got banned.

So yeah, Rofellos can't make any list, since he can't be a general by the official rules.

I play Doran in my EDH right now. I originally wanted to play Teneb, but a guy in the Seattle area had already built a Teneb deck. I was told I could play Teneb too, and switch Doran in for him if I ever played that guy. Rather than do that, I just decided to build around Doran. Doran makes for a lot of fun interactions and you can have a good defense to your deck, making you a bad target for multiplayer attacks... but not a huge threat until Doran actually hits. I don't think I could put Doran as a top general though.

Based on the experiences, I would say these 5 are very strong:

Zur the Enchanter - his search is great. Lets you dig out some really strong plays from your 100 card pile. The colors he is in are very controlling too. His toolbox effect just makes the deck run so smooth.

Jhoira of the Ghitu - she can let you play ridiculous cards. This one guy had Timesifter in his Jhoira EDH and a ton of like 8cc instants and creatures. With just 6 people in our EDH pod, it took about 15 turns for me to see another turn. It was great when that card finally got destroyed. Plus Jhoira lets you play cards like Obliterate... especially good when other beefy things are suspended after it.

Arcum Dagsson - This guy's search function is amazing. I played a guy with Arcum as his General and he was basically able to control the board until all of his permanents where Indestructible, then he was able to create near infinite amounts of Artifact creatures and toss them all to a Blasting Station to kill 4 opponents at once. Nobody wanted to play that deck against him after that.

Horde of Notions - You might think this guy is bad, but he really isn't. His 5 Colors allow you to use whatever cards you want. My friend uses him as a General in a combo deck. It is totally abusive. The Notions comes down as a hasted attacker and blocker... at the same time. So you not only shave off a few extra life points to ensure the combo goes lethal, but you also save yourself quite a bit of damage from ground attackers too. Good card to build around.

Teneb, the Harvester - I just love this as far as actual Elder Dragons go. He's a well costed fatty and his graveyard recursion can ensure some awesome late game swings. I could very easily be using Teneb now as my main general and he was always my first choice... I've grown on Doran, but Teneb is still a house. I don't know what other of the Elder Dragons I would want before him.

Erayo, Soratami Ascendant is a great card in a controllish build. Then you can also play arcane laboratory (a blue rule of law for whoever doesn't know) and then you have a potential lock.
