Trying to determine if these are fake or not. The local cardshop where I visit picked them up in a lot and didn't know what set they belonged to, if any, or if they are fake.
Bequeathal and Aether Tide both have silver logos (shiny logos, not the dull uncommon logos) and a silver shooting star on the bottom. Survival of the Fittest is a Silver border card with a rare symbol.
We live in a country were ~50% of the populace believe public schooling is a socialist conspiracy and that being called Einstein is an insult. We could try and fix it, but unfortunately the other 50% don't believe in euthanasia.
Well, they're worth what you can convince someone to pay for them. Which, when you consider that they're unplayable and are therefore intrinsically useless, probably shouldn't be "thousands each."

Exactly. Which is why there are people paying thousands of dollars for Summer Hurricanes - they want to beat down some Scryb Sprites with them. Any time you have a product with a large collector base that features a few items that are misprinted or otherwise extremely rare, people will pay lots of money for them.

While some people do spend money for the sole reason of getting cards they can plan with, other people buy cards as collectors.
Collectors take pleasure in having cool and unusual things in their collection. While I agree that it is intrinsically useless, I believe a test foil would be really cool, and to say they are unusual would be an understatement (I'd never heard of them before I saw this thread and I'm sure that's the case for many other people). Hence, a collector would put a very high value on the card as said person would gain great pleasure from having such an item in his or her collection. As a result, there are people who will, with good reason, pay a lot of money for them.
Due to what he says they "may" be and the fact that the people that have these cards Know what they are worth me and someone have concluded they arent possiable the test prints people say they are. The Test prints are almost all accounted for and dealers/collectors have them all.
We think it may be Foil Proxys someone has made. I have a few that people have made for me as gifts and it sounds like that.
IF they are test prints expect to pay out your ass and soul for them...
I highly doubt these are the cards your looking for....

Survival of the Fittest
They are test print cards for the foiling process, back before they were available on cards. They are VERY rare and VERY valuable to collectors.

If they're legit, they're probably worth thousands each, especially the Survival.

I don't care if I was framed for murder if I only got a warning I would let it go.

And that shows you what they are worth!
Now what do test foils even look like... *checks collection*
I may have one, I'm not sure. It has the wizards star but it's not thick.
