Default [EVE] Indigo Faerie & Snakeform (rumoured)

Hi folks! I'm the representative of blue! I come to you with some goodies, one common and one uncommon.

Let's start with the common:
Snakeform -
Instant
Target creature loses all abilities and becomes a 1/1 green Snake until end of turn.
Draw a card.

Artist: Jim Nielson
Card #: 161/180

Nice combat trick in limited and it replaces itself. Not bad at all!

And here's the uncommon:
Indigo Faerie -
Creature - Faerie Wizard
Flying
: Target permanent becomes blue in addition to its other colors until end of turn.
1/1

Artist: Steve Prescott
Card #: 24/180

Not too thrilled about this card. Especially at uncommon, you'd expect something better.

That's it for now. Stay tuned for more, because I'm feeling blue!

Aha! I knew Snakeform would turn the creature into a Snake, that's a nifty card too.

When I sawe the name Indigo Faerie, I was hoping and thinking it was red/blue. Oh well, nice Faerie though.

Well, snakeform does change P/T and it does draw a card, but it's not quite what I expected. Nice combat trick though, very nice combat trick.

So it is a Humble effect after all. I guess I like it, one more mana and cantrips, but makes it a 1/1 instead.

The Faerie is unimpressive, I don't really see the point.

Guys, you seem to think of Lignify.

CaptainBlue --- thanks!

Wow, the faerie is awful. Guess they're watering down uncs to do the same to rares, in prep for the ultra rares?

Do you mean Pongify? If so, these cards have similar effects, but are also different. Pongify gets rid of the creature and replaces it, whereas Snakeform just alters it temporarily.

removal that draws you a card that is great! Granted they would have to attack or block with it and you would have to have atleast a 1/2 critter.
Still even if you dont you can fog for a turn AND draw a card. Me like.

The feary is incredebly bad. There would have to be ALOT of color matters cards for that to be worth it.

Eh, you may aswell start comparing Ovinize and Snakeform now. They may aswell be Snapback and Repeal. In the end, we'll all choose neither.

Wow, I really like that neo Ovinize.
Sure it costs 1 mana more, but it also gets rid of the creature and it replaces itself. Both are good and in limited card draw = good!

I really don't see the point of the activated ability of that Faerie. Maybe we'll like it better when more of the set is revealed... Doubt it though.

Thanks blue! Keep them coming!
