Very nice flavor text - that explains why a shadowmoor merrow is willing to give others the ability to fly.

What is that it's affecting? A Badger? This card is horrible and the trigger is mildly useful but a 2/3 for 3U is hardly apealing. Man I can't wait for WotC to start with their smaller set sizes.

I think this is pretty good info. to confirm the cycle of playing a spell of that cards color to untap it and having a tapping ability. Nice find

Could be a cycle. Cinder Pyromancer untaps for red, nettle sentinal untaps for green. powerful card in limited. Think about how good kinsbaile balloonist is in lorowyn.

The flavor parts (flavor text and art) on this card are really good:

That flavor text is the way flavor text should be written: funny and explanatory of the ability of the card.

And that art is hilarious too. Flying frog!

Definitely part of the cycle of "when you play this color, untap" cards. But I wish they had more comboriffic abilities.

The balloonist has flying itself and triggers the ability when it attacks. The balloonist is significantly better than this guy. No comparison.
