Default [EVE] Oona's Grace, Inside Out, Stream Hopper & Mirror Sheen (rumoured)

I'm back! This time with some cards of the Izzet guild !

Oona's Grace -
Instant (C)
Target player draws a card.
Retrace

Artist: Rebecca Guay
Card #: 27/180

I can see why the mana cost is not , but I really think this isn't going to see play. At three mana you usually dig 2 or even 3 cards into your library.
I do like the name of this card.

Inside Out -
Instant (C)
Switch target creature's power and toughness until end of turn.
Draw a card.

Artist: Zoltan Boros & Gabor Szikszai
Card #: 103/180

I guess everyone saw this coming, but the cantripping is a nice addition!
Nice combat trick and it kills a Doran, the Siege Tower (and most defenders) which is always a good thing!

Stream Hopper -
Creature - Goblin (C)
: Stream Hopper gains flying until end of turn.
1/1

Artist: Dave Allsop
Card #: 113/180

Not a bad spell to trigger the Mimic and (most likely) the Avatar too. A 1/1 (flyer) isn't really good, but I would probably run this in my sealed deck, if I had one or two Mimics.
I think every colour has goblins now. Very odd...

Mirror Sheen -
Enchantment (R)
: Copy target instant or sorcery spell that targets you. You may choose new targets for the copy.

Artist: John Avon
Card #: 105/180

This is what blue and red really share: copying! Nice blend but quite narrow since you can only copy spells that target you. You can copy your own spells for double effect.
I'm really looking forward to the art, since it's John Avon.

Alright, that's it for the moment. Hope you like what the M-team is bringing you !

I lave them all, even the 1/1. The encchantment can probably be really mean and recurable draw is nothing to laugh at. Your late game lands just dissapeared.

I love Mirror Sheen and Inside Out.

I can also see why Oona's Grace is not costed at 1u, it starts Iso and ends with chron Scepter... Still a nice card though, it is going straight in my Oona theme deck.

Those are some Izzet cards I can work with.

Amazing what a cantrip can do for a normally useless effect.

Oona's Grace seems like a weird Think Twice, and in slow control it could see play. people were playing Whispers of the Muse, so why not this?

I'm digging Inside Out, especially since it cantrips. Better than About Face in that respect. Also, the art is all kinds of good, assuming it's the art form the spoiler pack.

Stream Hopper's cool, a nice evasive 1-drop.

Mirror Sheen is alright, it could enable some fun combo deck. In my Casual Battle of Wits/Mortal Combat deck, I'll buddy this up with Frantic Search for hilarity.

Mirror Sheen and Steamhopper caught my attention.

Inside out was just as I thought it would be after seeing Double Cleave. And the retrace spell is blah. Oh well...

Thks a lot Blue! Finally some Izzet cards.

Oona's Grace isn't too bad. It's always a flashbacked Think Twice, but you can keep on playing it indefinitely for cards. Combo with River Kelpie for lots of ca.

Inside Out is so much more than I hoped it wud b cos it cantrips. Very playable combat trick, cud be viable in standard mayhaps?

Steam Hopper is perhaps the least interesting of the 1 mana hybrid creatures.

Mirror Sheen is good anti-burn, anti-discard tech maybe?

Wait... what did you mean by the Hopper triggering the avatar? What does the Dominus do??!?!?!

Inside Out indeed does hose Doran. But! it also thwarts Stuffy.

The U/R Goblin looks kinda interesting. Nothing particular standard playable about him though it seems.

didnt really expect the cantrip on inside out, but it might see some play sideboarded against doran or certain treefolk decks. seems fun, even if its not insanely good.

stream hopper- was hoping for something more like a 1/1 flying goblin that couldn't block, but this is cool enough i guess. with the aura, turns into a 3/3 shroud flyer on turn 2.

the enchantment - yet again, leaves alot to be desired, but its going to be funny to force your opponent to hold those late-game burn spells or copy your own draw spells in casual.

Oona's Grace gives all of your lands Cycling: 2u. Not bad at all really considering.

Brother Salomar and I guessed Inside Out exactly yesterday. We rule, you know.

I agree that Oona's Grace is a little overcosted. I think I'd take Think Twice over this because I'm sure I can draw, well, twice guaranteed. Oona's Grace initial cost is greater and the subsequent activations are dependent on the lands you draw, although you can abuse it if you suddenly get flooded with lands.

The enchantment that copies spells is so-so... In U/R, aside for draw, there really aren't many spells that you point to yourself (unless you have a lot of mana, point a burn at youself and copy it repeatedly... shock turns to char for 7 mana), and your opponent would definitely play cautious with that in play. Well, maybe that's the point to it, I guess...
