True Believer, except too expensive to be playable instead of too vulnerable.

Hm.. it's probably gonna find a place in casual decks, especially in Emporer where True Believer didn't help you as much.

That said, I don't quite see what's the big deal with a fatty which grants you supershroud instead of shroud. How often do we target ourselves ?

It doesn't say you have shroud, this is one sided, therefore better. And the 4/5 flyer body is really good by itself, making it less "burnable".
I like the card. The cost makes it hard for it to make it in constructed, as W is never short of these nice fat fliers.

I don't really like the art. It looks like a cheesy aslan from narnia.

Well, it's at least got some evasion. But other than that, it has a big "Hit Me" sign on the back of it's head with a big red target. I could see maybe a control build using this but that's about it, I think.

Draw spells are often targetted: Compulsive Research, Careful Consideration and Ancestral Vision, just to name a few.
Anyway, I'm sad that they couldn't find something to give this card a bit more of a zing to it. Reveillark was certainly an awesome piece of design. Why can't they do more of that, rather than giving White tons of fat french vanilla critters with an extra ability tacked on "just because"? I agree with Aleph. I think the best part of this card is the flavour text.

Unplayable in the current standard since its creature types are irrelevant and it dies to everything. The card itself seems decent, especially for casual and in limited as a big evasive flyer but I see little to no impact in any constructed format. I got a good laugh about how the card totally owns many of the top decks (it doesn't) but I know he was just being over enthusiastic about a new card like most preview articles are so I can't fault him too much.

This card is pretty good in Limited. In Constructed, True Believer is far more aggressive (though, yes, mroe fragile).

I hate it when people do nothing but complain.
Reasons why the card is good. - at 4/5 it's a decent creature that is fairly hard to outright stop. - Evasion via Flying - It's not True Believer, you have protections from your opponents spells, you're own still affect you. Reasons why the card is bad - At 6 mana it can be a bit hard late game. There. I think the card will see play. Not in any "top 8" deck, but it in more loose decks.
