I just added the first 9 cards along with a little bit of background info for the set. I'll go through your cards tomorrow and decide what I can use and what's getting scrapped.
Random: Wouldnt it be better for mindzap to say "Whenever you would draw a card this turn, you may deal 1 damage to target creature or player"? cause having the card deal the damage is weird... its an instant thats in the yard and its hitting something??? maybe im wrong, but just a thought.

good thought on that, I'd have to look into past cards to see if there's something akin to this kind of card. I'm sure it's possible with delayed triggers for it to work, but I assume that a player themselves can not be a source of damage (protection from players? Is that possible?)
Card idea:
Terraflux Core
Land - Core (R)
When ~ comes into play, chose a basic land type. ~ is the basic land of the chosen type.
At the beginning of your upkeep, choose a different basic land type. ~ becomes the basic land type chosen, and you lose 1 life for each core in play.
I think the proper wording might be "Until end of turn, whenever a source causes you to draw a card, that source deals 1 damage to target creature or player."
Least, that's how I'd write it. Might be a bit wordy, though.

Come one, come all, come be an architect of the Cataclysm!
I feel that this set would need a dual cycle to support it properly, but at the same time I need to find room for more artifacts. It didn't take me long to realize the new sunburst set needed at least some sunburst artifacts. Any thoughts on what to cut to make room?
Hello, I'm the neighboring of you taking a walk around. I was reading a bit about your set project. I'm sure it will be a nice set ^^
Some observations that hopefully will be useful for you:
*Sequencer: Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, that player loses life equal to the equipped creature's power. ---> I know it isn't the same, but the diference doesn't unbalances the card and feels more correct. I mean, this could be nicer: "Whenever equipped creature attacks and isn't blocked, it gains double strike until end of turn." In the other hand,I don't think that "Sequencer" fits the card feeling.
*Seductress of a Thousand Snakes: Players doesn't "gains" poison counters (where's the gaining?). They "get" poison counters.
*I like Doomquake. ^^
*Earthbrawn Leech: It's basicly like this:
Earthbrawn Leech WUBRG
Creature - Leech
Haste
At end of turn, sacrifice Earthbrawn Leech.
15/15
Ô.ô!
It seems too much for me. I think you should reduce the pump bonus, or add a mana payment, or make the cost like 1GGG or 1GG or 1G (and obviously change the rarity.)
*Renzblad Initiate: I really like this guy.
*Chaotic Composition: "At the beginning of your next upkeep,..." (the same for Song of Storms)
Good luck with your set development. Will be a pleasure to have your oppinion about my work.
Chrome Matrix* X

Cut a common from each color. That should give you enough workroom.

Black/Green- Similar to the green/white, the green/black use a different method of recycling. Instead of rebirth, they use an old technique called "dredge". While they aren't very powerful, they can win a war of attrition any day.
Red/White- Red/white has a strict obedience to the military in Urayth. They will do anything... yes anything to defend their honor. Similar to black suiciding for their own benefit, red/white will suicide for honor and glory.
Green/Blue- Green/blue examines the biochemistry science of war. They strive to create life in the inanimate- supplying an army in itself.
White/Black- Notoriously referred to as the Twilight. These mages are known for their ritualistic approaches to combat and their infamous combination of life and death.
Blue/Red- Similar to blue/green, instead blue/red strives for just basic chemical weaponry. They develop spells that benefit themselves and at the same time, inflict damage on the enemy.

From ep. Who kicks ass
good thought on that, I'd have to look into past cards to see if there's something akin to this kind of card.

Least, that's how I'd write it. Might be a bit wordy, though.
techoverrated.
Artifact (U)
Sunburst
1, remove a charge counter from Chrome Matrix: Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.

@blackbull: Sorry I haven't responded to you yet. I've just been very busy.
techoverrated.A couple of sugestions made quickly:
Embulo, Humus Artist (B/G)(B/G)(B/G)
Legendary Creature - Rat Druid
Land cards in your graveyard has "dredge 1".
Whenever a creature card is put into your graveyard from your library, you may chose one - Search your library for a swamp or forest card and put it into your hand; or put a -1/-1 counter on target creature.
2/2
Drumos, the Inquisitor 3(W/B)(W/B)
Legendary Creature - Human Cleric
Remove one card of each type in your graveyard from the game: Remove all other creatures from the game. (The card types are artifact, creature, enchantment, instant, land, planeswalker, sorcery, and tribal.)

Definitely interesting, but I'm currently shifting things around A LOT due to some information I came across. Look on the Twilight Skies thread to see what I mean. I won't be touching this thread for a little bit.
